ZZGlilyThe house is about 2-3 minutes' drive from the center of Apollo Bay town, and it is not far to walk there. The environment is very quiet. There are three rooms on the first floor of the house as a homestay. The landlord's family lives on the second floor. The landlord is very nice👍 and takes the initiative to introduce restaurants in the town and nearby attractions. The public living room and dining room are relatively large and tastefully decorated. The kitchen prepares coffee, milk, bread, cereal, fruit and other foods for guests to eat for breakfast. The bedroom has a bathroom, with a cold and warm air conditioner, an electric blanket, and a warm light in the bathroom. It is comfortable and warm to stay👍

The staff at Apollo Bay Motel & Apartments were very helpful and made the check-in process extremely easy by clearly guiding us through every step. Their communication was excellent and very friendly.
The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. The accommodation is in a very convenient location, with all shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance.
All the amenities we needed were provided, which made our stay very comfortable and stress-free. Overall, we highly recommend Apollo Bay Motel & Apartments to everyone and would happily stay here again.

The amenities, by contrast, were excellent: Two well appointed kichens with nice pans and plenty of space; A roof area and multiple living room areas; an herb garden and plenty of recycling areas; and the games and TV area looked brand new and not old and worn out . The kids enjoyed it and so did we. Highly recommended.

XXiexiaoyuhewudahaiOur room was on the second floor with a king-sized bed. The sofa bed needed to be made up by ourselves, and there was no duvet, only one blanket provided, with another blanket in the closet, which was generally sufficient. There was parking available in the yard. For the second-floor room, luggage had to be carried up an outdoor staircase. My friend stayed in a first-floor room with a queen-sized bed and a 0.9m bed. Their balcony opened directly onto the roadside, which felt a bit unsafe. A common characteristic of motels along the Great Ocean Road is the lack of curtains, with roller blinds used instead, which aren't great for blocking out light. Our room had an induction cooker and pots, but my friend's room didn't. At nearly 1500, it was also the most expensive accommodation on our Great Ocean Road trip.

OoliviachenzwWe are a family of 8, and we rented the entire unit, both downstairs and upstairs, for our stay. The weather was cold during our visit, but the beds were equipped with heaters, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep.
Each floor has its own bathroom and kitchen, which was incredibly convenient for our large group. The bathrooms came with basic toiletries, although there was no toothpaste provided, so be sure to bring your own. The kitchens were well-equipped and functional, with simple seasonings like salt and pepper. We brought our own cooking oil, but everything else was perfect for preparing warm meals for dinner and breakfast.
The homestay is located in Marengo. One thing to note is that there are no supermarkets in Marengo itself, but Apollo Bay is just a few minutes' drive away. We recommend stocking up on groceries there before arriving if you plan to cook during your stay.
Parking was more than sufficient for our Kia Carnival 8-seater, so we had no trouble with that.
The area is wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. We had a truly pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay.

GGuest UserPleasantly surprised by the great location and room with sea view and a parking spot. Apollo Bay itself also has a charming appeal with its sea, carnival, and a nice brewery. I was well-assisted despite the language barrier. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe stayed here when driving on the Great Ocean Road, I really liked the quiet and comfortable here, the room was very clean, there was a jacuzzi, and we got a good relaxation for a day by car. There are various restaurants around for easy taste of food. Check in is very convenient and will come next time.

SSisixiongApollo Bay is the town where our family stayed the longest on this self-driving Great Ocean Road trip. Our family of five, two adults and three children, stayed in this cabin for three nights in a row. In addition to the beautiful scenery nearby, the most important thing is that it provides bicycles, boats, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc., and you can go to nearby courses. , play at the beach, we have fun every day! The owner Amanda and a friend of hers are taking care of these cabins. They are very nice people and can provide a lot of help to guests. For those of us living in domestic cities, burning wood in the fireplace to keep warm is a very interesting experience!
