"As a family we used to visit Bilkent Otel quite often, but most probably this was the last time. The Hotel used to be one of the best hotels in the city but unfortunately now it needs significant renovations. I am attaching some photos of the room we stayed in, I think a picture is worth a thousand words! As their prices are almost equal to most of the 5 star hotels in the city, I think it isn't worth staying here anymore."

"We chose this hotel as we would take TCCD to Istanbul after staying one night in Ankara. The walking distance is about 10 minutes, avoiding traffic jams. There is a subway exit nearby and several restaurants nearby. The price is reasonable but the facilities are old and the breakfast quality is average. The hotel room has a view of the Kemal Memorial Hall!"

"There was a lot of mold in the toilet, the shower room was very small, and the WiFi in the room was weak and almost unusable. However, the location was excellent, close to the main street, and there was a beautiful mosque nearby. The breakfast was simple."

"I walked to Asal Hotel from Ankara Train Station with just one backpack. The walk took me past a park and across several large roads, and I actually enjoyed looking around the city along the way. However, I would not recommend walking this route if you are traveling with a large suitcase. The hotel itself is relatively small, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also quite good considering the price of the hotel, so overall I felt it offered good value for money. One unusual experience was getting a taxi through the BiTaksi app. The first driver seemed unable to find the hotel, so the ride didn’t work out. On my second attempt, I finally managed to meet the driver after speaking with him on the phone. Since the driver didn’t speak English, I couldn’t really understand what the problem was. Overall, Asal Hotel was a good budget-friendly choice for my short stay in Ankara. Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast, and good value for the price."

"I booked the hotel before coming. It was standart room with big bedroom. The room was small. Ok it was predictable. But the cover of the sheet was dirty, we asked the bellboy to change it and also to bring another warm blanket because at night it was cold in the room. Despite this he didn’t bring the blanket. The air conditioner didn’t work however I asked about it as well and they lied saying that it functions well. In conclusion I would say if you want a one night stay with a good breakfast it’s a good decision. The only satisfying thing in the hotel is breakfast. And don’t forget to complain if the staff is not doing their work."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to public transport stations, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The music from entertainment venues at night might be a bit disruptive for those with sleep problems. The breakfast buffet offers fresh and delicious options. The staff are friendly and helpful. Konur Hotel is definitely recommended for short stays."
