Royal Garden Villas, Luxury Hotel
"Just got back from an amazing week in Villa Eden. We booked a one bedroom villa but kindly got upgraded to a two bed for free on arrival! The villas are beautiful and spacious, with well thought-out spaces and decor. It even included two outdoor showers! The outdoor pool was a perfect temperature and our terrace got the sun until 4ish. They truly put the guest first and the service is spot on, with friendly staff. Every day they deliver at least a bottle of water each and give you chocolates in the evening. The WhatsApp service is really useful and they ask that you book a breakfast reservation the day before. At breakfast, you can also request different types of eggs. Only one slight downside was that they accidentally forgot to bring our cold breakfast the night before when we booked in advance, as we had an early start the next day for our day trip. But we had some snacks already to keep us going, so not the end of the world. They kindly provide a useful pool/beach bag and foldaway shopper, which we didn’t realise was complementary. They provide dishwasher tabs and you can ask for washing powder. If you want to buy food/snacks for the room, we used uber eats for delivery (instead of walking and carrying bags in the heat) which was cheap with no minimum spend. In the evening we would walk about 25 mins to La Caleta to try various restaurants and get a taxi back (approx €6). We liked how the spa was open until 10pm, was always quiet and you didn’t have to book a slot. We normally book adults only hotels as we like the quietness but we only saw one family. However, more families arrived during the start of half term which is expected. We visited the adults-only sister hotel Royal River for 2 hours (letting reception know in advance) to try out their river pool - the hotel was an extra layer of luxury! It had a couple more pools,however, it looked you got more outside space in the sun with Royal Garden Villas. If you have a late flight home, you can let them know in advance to book the lovely complementary VIP room with showers, living room, bedroom and terrace with some free soft drinks. Overall, this hotel is true luxury! It’s the best of both world’s - private pool and own space with hotel service. We hope to visit again!"

"My favorite hotel in Tenerife! The staff were incredibly welcoming, helping with our luggage to our room, and even offering a special dinner recommendation. On our arrival day, we had Mexican food, and although it was a buffet, it was fantastic – every dish was delicious. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has free parking, and there's another parking lot nearby, so parking is never a problem. The beach near the hotel is my absolute favorite in all of Tenerife! Highly recommended!"

"The issue of stars should be re-examined. Hotels packed with people at a rate of 400 euros/night can never be considered luxury. The sun and the proximity to the beach are not a merit of the hotel. Neither is the demand. The hotel is not luxury, 5 stars… rather 4 stars superior. Excessive price for what it offers (not counting the sun)"

"We stay at santa maria hovima for 10 days during that time when we arrive the staff was polite and when we got our room i notice the room was small for two people the bed is at wall where you could bash your head at wall during night when i ask member staff at reception if we can have accessibity room because my grandad is disable cant see very well and i ask them if we can change room they said oh you cant change room because it going cost you €30 each person per night thst is around €600 up to €1600 before start on hoilday so i have refused to pay and stay in same room we had stay same the room was small anr no space to able walk around for people got needs. The beds was okay comfy to sleep on but half of lights dont work and there wasnt any fan bathroom so all air condoton was stream up and heat kept in bath room. Evening meal on the first day wasnt great or outstanding it like some of food was taste second hand standing there for while and it put us off not eating here on evening past few days we when in and check what meal in buffet it was same everyday and we have to tutn around find some where to eat with our own money to have nice meal than cold and not great blend food. But other hand breakfast is great and it is all fresh For hoilday makers i will recommend loom at review i wont be back here and it feel not welcome"

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is convenient, making travel easy. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, check-in was quick, and they even kindly reminded me of breakfast time. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept soundly last night. The bathroom had no odor, and there was plenty of hot water; the overall attention to detail was excellent. It's great value for money, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time and recommend it to my friends."
