"The staff are supportive to trans/ intersex and non binary people . Brutalist building on the outside but rooms refurbished on the inside . There are a number of shops that sell food next to the hotel and a retail park on the other side of the road . Getting to the hotel is easy by number 23 bus and a day ticket costs £5-80 per a person from central Aberdeen from the Music Hall bus stop . Room 214 was relaxing and lovely and newly renovated and way view was of the social housing estate and a good viewpoint to people watch . Quiet hotel as it’s 2 miles from central Aberdeen and I had a peaceful stay over 3 nights and 4 days . Breakfast was lovely on the ground floor from 6-30 am to 9-30 am and it was hot porridge from a pot, cakes , coffee, a fruit juice carton and lots of space from other people and guests . If you can get over the outside of the hotel is a dated run down Brutalist building the inside is nice and a cheap place to stay too"

"I liked the location. It's close to the city and not too far from the train station. Tip if you're coming from the train station: Take the elevator behind the ticket office, walk across the railway bridge in the station to the parking area. You'll be in the parking garage on the 6th floor. Then, walk out of the parking garage, cross the road, and walk up 10 steps to the accommodation. This is the easiest and most convenient way. We had an upstairs room with an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom was very spacious, but there were no towels or power outlets, so we had to use the hairdryer in the bedroom. The sink didn't have hot water. The breakfast was simple, with no meat, vegetables, or fruit. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building; anyone caught will be fined and asked to leave the accommodation. If you don't have very high standards, this place is considered good. The staff were very helpful. You can leave your luggage there."

"We stayed at this hotel to go to comic con Aberdeen for the weekend , it’s in a great location and right next to McDonald’s. The hotel car park was a decent size, the entrance to the hotel is great and clean and inviting. The overall appearance of the room is great , lovely comfortable bed , tv however is way to small , we had a stain on the carpet floor which looked like blood ? , and the shower curtain was needing a good wash, had a few stains on it. Lots of noise coming from the room above , no fault of their own since it was footsteps but it was very loud, and the road next to the hotel was very loud however it does come with two windows that does help but if you wanted the windows open for some fresh air ( forget about it ) Reception team were friendly and I would come back to this hotel again just since it was a great price and location and for the bed. "

"Excellent 3 night stay for local sightseeing and catching up with friends. Walk from the hotel on the River Don lovely with cows, geese and ducks. Local ASDA with petrol station. The grounds are some what tired and in need of a makeover. The staff were all excellent - helpful, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Usha and the team."
