Gangneung Solbit Motel
4.3/52 Reviews
This was a budget motel in Gangneung, and everything about the place seemed poorly conceived. Room was cold in winter, but the heated blanket on the mattress had two temperatures: scorching and off. The blankets had stains on them and the whole room reeked of cigarettes. There was even a lighter on the table seemingly to encourage it. The electrical plug situation was incredibly inconvenient, as there weren’t many free outlets and the few that existed were located on the other side of the room from the bed. The bathroom was absolutely freezing, and the location of the shower head was between the bathroom sink and a shelf, requiring you to stand sideways in order to have the water hit you. I get that you get what you pay for and this was a budget hotel, but I still think the hotel was overpriced for what you got. Doubtful I’d stay here again

The owner is kind. Parking space is secured in advance. If you call the front desk before arriving, they will come out in advance. Please guide us. Because the location of the accommodation is very good Many things can be solved on foot. Unlike other lodging establishments in travel destinations, Very clean. I had a pleasant time. The photo can be taken just 5 seconds away from the accommodation. Gyeongpo Beach ^^

It is located just off the bus terminal outside Yuanzhou City. I arrived at the bus terminal around 21:00 and headed for the motel from there. Haraju was my first place to visit, but it was helpful because the motel was in an easy-to-understand location. Since I arrived at night, the front desk was out of the seat and had to wait for a while. Even if I called the number on the guide board, I couldn't help but do it. I was at a loss for a moment, but the front desk basically seems to be manned at night, so if you wait, the staff will come back. Also, I think the building is old and the scale is small, but I glimpsed the cleaning of the room with a 2 person system and the cleaning was firmly done with a deck brush. However, it is the cheapest motel in the surrounding area. The quality of the facilities is high for the price, but you may be shocked if you expect it. If you are used to going to a motel in a Korean region, you should be able to spend comfortably without any problems.

Although this is not a new hotel, the room is very clean and the bed is very clean and comfortable. It seems to have a heating blanket, but I didn't need it when the weather was hot in September. You can get toothbrushes, shower gel, and shampoo at the hotel counter. There is a hair dryer, and there are buses (7 and 7-1 are both available) in 2 minutes' walk to the Seoraksan Cable Car. It is only 3 stops away. There are not many restaurants nearby, but there are some snack bars where you can eat some hot pot. , Pancakes are no problem. This is a mountainous area in Sokcho, so Uber cars are not available, but you can still take the bus back to the city, but the hotel owner is very nice. When we checked out, he saw us dragging our big luggage and waiting for the bus. He enthusiastically drove us to Sokcho city along the way, which saved us a lot of time. Thank you very much. When we came to Gangwon Province, we found that the people here are very nice and enthusiastic to help strangers. This is already the first time we have come here. This is my fifth time in Korea and the locals have enthusiastically sponsored me, which is great!

The hotels location was great, walking distance to chuam beach, the bat cave and McDonald’s haha. The hotel was a little hard to find as the entrance is not on the Main Street but rather towards the back. The hotel room was nice though a little dark. It would be nice if the shower was separated from the bath tub. There was cigarettes smoke coming from the bathroom and it was pretty strong. Woke up almost suffocated by cigarette smoke in the morning but besides that, it was a nice hotel.

Located next to Anmok Beach and cafe street. It is in walking distance of cafes and the beach. There are some places to eat too. In the room there is a fridge and communal health and beauty supplies and a hair blowdryer. We checked in around 11 PM the front desk gave us toothbrushes. The sheets were stained when we arrived in our room. We called since it was after house cleaning hours, they gave us new sheets so we could change them.

We had a wonderful time there. My daughter was very happy about the tub, and it was a pleasant surprise to have the bed heating pad. We both passed right out and didn't want to get up. The room was very spacious, and the styler was a great help. The only issues were that there were two stains on the sheet. We just covered them with the towel and slept because we were too exhausted. Then we couldn't get the computer to work~

The room I stayed in smelled a little cigarette, but the price was good. Next time I visit Wonju again. If you do, you will be willing to visit again.

It is very convenient as it is close to the central market and food in the middle of the city. It didn't smell like cigarettes, so I used it very comfortably. The bathtub was bigger than I expected, so it was very nice!!! It's such a great place for the price
