Very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel, beyond expectations! Located in the center of Florence, by the river, the hotel itself is an ancient building, well protected, and the luxury street is downstairs. The room is very large, exquisitely decorated, typical European style, from curtains to furniture wallpaper are bright yellow light green. Outside the window is the beautiful view of the Arno River. The bathroom has a shower and a separate oversized jacuzzi. The room is soundproof and quiet. Awesome terrace platform on the roof, watching the beautiful scenery of Florence under the sunset is no less than Michelangelo Square. The top floor bar is also great. What a great place. Really friendly staff. In particular Martina. Wonderful breakfast various cheeses , meats and hot choice. Delicious cakes section served by Costanza and another lovely lady. Fabulous location in the heart of Florence. So easy to get to anywhere in the city. Remember this a buzzing city so expect some noise as itâs so central but I found it very minimal. It didnât disturb me. Will definitely be coming back to stay here. So much more enjoyable than staying in a big hotel .

Great location but wouldnât recommend staying here. We booked a 4 night stay and on the second night we left our one key provided behind and were locked out when we got back. Although they make it clear they do not staff the front desk 24 hours, they do clearly list a 24 hour phone number on check in paperwork and signs on the front desk that we can call if anything is needed. We called that line 30+ times throughout the night without an answer. We ended up sleeping on the lobby floor all evening. Upon the apologetic morning staff arriving in the morning, we were told that this specific incident has happened before to other guests, too. The staff on site were very kind and wanted to find a way to refund us the night, but they stated their manager would not approve and the manager was unwilling to talk to us about the incident. Be careful on what is advertised versus what is actually offered and the transparency of this establishment.

Located in an old building with all the spaces with freshness on the ceiling. Our room was beautiful, very large, comfortable, large boxes and a beautiful bathroom. Good breakfast. Very available and comfortable staff. Comfortable with lift. Location great to see Florence and restaurants. Conveniently also with a 50-metre parking. Excellent view.

This is the second stay. As always, good. This is the longest stay in the same hotel in Italy. Stayed at this hotel for four consecutive nights. The hotel is ideally located 10 minutes walk from Central Station and less than 5 minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore. There are many people during the day, and going out to shoot the night scene at night is not the same. More commendable is the owner of the hotel. He is a man who is both sunny and enthusiastic, thoughtful and thoughtful. The design of the room allows you to be infected by the culture of the Renaissance as soon as you enter.

The room is really big but the bathroom is not so comfortable. After all, in the 15th century, every waiter is super enthusiasm and the foreigner is very stubborn. He must introduce it to you at every part of the hotel. You are embarrassed to refuse. Haha parking is not good, after all, the breakfast in the old district is quite normal. Going downstairs, there are a few steps. There is a super-roy cafe and good coffee and good business.

Very nice hotel. Excellent location, quirky but clean rooms. Shared kitchen with laundry, which we used. Itâs nice to have a full sized refrigerator for leftovers. We also stocked up on yogurts and some fruit. Our room had a wonderful view of the piazza below with the boar statue. In the evening we left our window open , and listened to the live concerts. Breakfast was at a cafe around the corner- just coffee and a cornetto- but it was the best cornetto we ate in Italy!

We were a night here and I have to complimente with the staff to offer first of all kindness and professionality, but the rooms are not only clean, very large. Strategic location because at a few meters from the SMN station and the center. Breakfast is served in the front bar with tickets that the structure offers you with 3 different modes including sweet and salt breakfast, but in the room c is the service the' camomila and nescafe', Besides a small refrigerator with water and some bathroom, I can only make a review hopefully returning to it. Room really equipped with all the comforts! đ

The room is good, the heating is very hot, there is no air conditioning, I don't know how summer is. The plug of the washbasin was broken and I repaired it myself. By the way, my room is not in the same building as the front desk. It is 50 meters away. It is not easy to find a hotel.

GGuest UserThis was my first hostel experience on my own and it was soooo good! I felt very safe, staff super friendly, the room and common areas had everything you could ever need! Locker in the room was huge... I had enough space to keep all my things safe, but you need to bring your own padlock (maybe the hostel could make that clear on the booking? although I was prepared, another lady in the room was not ;)). Location great, very close to station (but far enough away that it wasn't a problem....), very close to the sites, restaurants and bars. I would happily return to an Ostello Bello! Grazie

I had a great 4-night stay at the hostel and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. Arrived early in the day and got a thorough tour of the building and facilities as well as a welcome map and some friendly chat and suggestions. Both staff members I spoke to had a very easy-going and natural manner that really made you feel welcome and the fully stocked kitchen and breakfast options were very generous and a nice touch for the days I had to set off early. Something i wasn't expecting - but was very happy about - was the full change of bedsheets and towels every day. Absolutely brilliant touch and at no extra charge. It's in a great location with an easy 5-10 minute walk into town and only a 3 minute walk to the train station. Also lot's of great dining options in the area too so i never had to go too far to pick up something great. Thanks for a great trip!

Very clean, everything works, many spaces where anyone can find his interest (sleeping, drinking, eating, playing music, taking a bath or studying... The shared kitchen area is well equipped and clean. And they propose a lot of activities. And if you are wondering why the yellow color of the hostel makes you in a good mood. I tell you a secret: It's Simonetta. She is the sun of this YellowSquare Firenze. A positive woman who makes everyone in a good mood every morning in the shared kitchen. She is the sun that gives this cheerful color to the hostel â€ïž The only negative point: I advise you to pay by card ; they have a big problem with the change. But this isn't a real handicap

We really enjoyed our stay at the Re-Dama Hotel. The location is great, you can walk to the centre (30 min) or take the tram (4 or 5 stops). The breakfast is fantastic, lots of options and everything is fresh, good coffee machine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, one of the days we had an excursion very early in the morning and they made a little bag with items for breakfast for us, it was great. The rooms are basic but you are out most of the day, overall it was a really good stay. There is also a supermarket a block away, which is very convenient. Highly recommended if you visit Florence.

Jjodig325I arrived after midnight as my flight was late and Matteo was right there to greet me with a huge smile - which was so nice to see a friendly face after a challenging trip! He made me feel so welcome and showed me around, made sure if I needed anything I would come see him. It felt like staying in a family home. There are beautiful stone flights of stairs up to the rooms (which are beautiful) - but I was not allowed to carry my suitcases up! Matteo and another lovely man insisted they carried them up for me which was so kind of them. Italians really are so chivalrous! I booked a private room with a bathroom. I walked in and was immediately amazed by the huge size! Super high ceilings, beautiful big windows in the bedroom and bathroom that open right out so you get a lovely breeze coming through. I liked sitting on the ledge, drinking my morning coffee watching everything happening down on the busy street below. Every night I slept with all the windows wide open and fell asleep listing to all the sounds below floating up from the city, with a lovely breeze - it was so nice! I didnât need to use the aircon at all because the breeze was so nice! And the stone building stayed nice and cool. The room was spotless, and so clean, with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries to use. They have daily housekeeping, but I asked them not to worry about my room and I wasnât there much (I was out all day exploring the beautiful city) There is a wardrobe room off the main bedroom with space to hang clothes and a set of drawers, with room to store your cases as well! It was so nice to have a place out of the main bedroom to keep your clothes so they donât end up scattered around everywhere! The bathroom is clean and cosy, with a lovely view from that window also. The bed is so comfy, nice firm pillows, huge queensize bed, very clean and comfy sheets, thereâs a TV, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay! The whole place is just lovely! It really feels like such a traditional place to stay with so much character! It was so nice to come here after staying in tiny rooms in Paris and Zurich. I really like older places that have character and soul and this place has it in abundance! Plus all the staff are just amazing, special mention to Matteo (he worked the night shift) he always greeted me with a big smile and a âhello Jodi, tell me how was your day? What did you do?â He made me feel so welcome and I felt very safe staying there. Matteo also was so happy to recommend good places to see, eat, gelato - he was very knowledgeable and kind. There is a communal kitchen which is handy if you want to cook/heat up something (not that youâd need to as the Mercato Food court is literally a 1 minute walk with heaps of delicious and well priced food options!) there is a drink machine and two gorgeous terraces to sit out in the sun and enjoy your coffee, do some reading or just hang out.
