Very Good
EErma from CanadaPrivately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.
切切尔西的飞虎74This motel is near to the ferry terminal,very convenient.the room is big and clean,face to the Main Street-High Way.There are two supermarkets near to the motel,it is easy to buy fruits,vegetables and drinks.I will choose it again.by the way,Picton is very small,but it is so beautiful and quiet.
PpatrickxyliuThere is no dissatisfaction, the room is clean and comfortable. Originally booked for 2 nights, but due to the weather the day before, the whale watching trip in kaikoura was postponed, canceled for one night, and the phone and hotel discussions were also very happy to promise to change one night.
NNathanThe location of the motel is terrific. It’s on a tiny hill overlooking the harbour. If you are lucky and get the rooms upstairs, you really have a fantastic view day and night. The room itself is rather simple, but it does have a balcony with chairs and a table. Great for enjoying the view. But be prepared if you are driving there. The slope to the reception is steep and parking is very squeezy. Smaller cars would see an obvious advantage there.
GGuest UserBeautiful location overlooking the Marlborough Sounds, grassed area in front down to the sea. Short walk to beach and 10 minutes walk to marina where there is a very good pub with great food.
Very peaceful and lovely outside space to enjoy view and peace - very relaxing.
Lovely apartment, very modern and clean and well equipped. Quality towels and linen.
Too far from Picton Town to walk but only 10 minutes drive to the ferry.
Jjeffreycschow- nice interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;
- squeaky clean and spick and span;
- very comfortable beds that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack till getting up, which is the last thing you want.
- quiet and reclusive, but easily accessible to the town;
- Flexible check out(upon request)
- Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful
GGuest UserWe came in on the late ferry - reception left us written instructions and left the light on and heater in room - room was clean - such a lovely place highly recommend
ZZenmeneniThe space is very large and the environment is nice. It is right in the town. The front desk was friendly. Because it rained that day, they also provided us with free hot milk to keep us warm. Recommended to stay~
GGuest UserI thought it was pretty good. I think I booked an executive room, which had a balcony and plenty of hot water in the shower. It's located on a section of the main street. There aren't many travel guides for Picton online, so I scouted it out for you. This motel is next to a gas station and across the street from a large supermarket. The room has a kitchen. It's a 10-minute walk to the Intercity bus station, which is next to the train and ferry terminals, so it's really close. Also, the beach is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are various activities available for registration at the beach; you don't need to book online, just walk in and inquire—the price is the same. There's a Thai restaurant not far from the hotel. Picton is beautiful. We came here to take the train, and it's definitely worth it. This is a wine region; remember to buy a bottle and try it.
