Motels in Marlborough, New Zealand

Privately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

The location is a bit off, not in the core area of the town, but it also brings a rare peace. The standard Motel, the car parked at the door, the front desk after 10 o'clock in the evening after work, but fortunately generally do not need any services. This is a family self-driving tour, booked a two-bedroom suite, spacious and comfortable, and very clean. Fatigue for a day, I can take a hot bath, sleep in a soft and comfortable bed, and be happy again. The boss seems to be Chinese, warm and hospitable, and the boss is very warm. Check-in and check-out are simple and efficient, and this is a good recommendation.

This motel is near to the ferry terminal,very convenient.the room is big and clean,face to the Main Street-High Way.There are two supermarkets near to the motel,it is easy to buy fruits,vegetables and drinks.I will choose it again.by the way,Picton is very small,but it is so beautiful and quiet.

There is no dissatisfaction, the room is clean and comfortable. Originally booked for 2 nights, but due to the weather the day before, the whale watching trip in kaikoura was postponed, canceled for one night, and the phone and hotel discussions were also very happy to promise to change one night.

The location of the hotel is very good. The balcony of the room has a direct view of the ferry and yacht harbor. The scenery is very good. The room is clean. The lady at the reception is very friendly and answers all questions. Parking is convenient, but the room facilities are a bit outdated.

Beautiful location overlooking the Marlborough Sounds, grassed area in front down to the sea. Short walk to beach and 10 minutes walk to marina where there is a very good pub with great food. Very peaceful and lovely outside space to enjoy view and peace - very relaxing. Lovely apartment, very modern and clean and well equipped. Quality towels and linen. Too far from Picton Town to walk but only 10 minutes drive to the ferry.

- nice interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - very comfortable beds that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack till getting up, which is the last thing you want. - quiet and reclusive, but easily accessible to the town; - Flexible check out（upon request） - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

We came in on the late ferry - reception left us written instructions and left the light on and heater in room - room was clean - such a lovely place highly recommend

Hotel staff is friendly  also let us park until the afternoon to leave  2 minutes walk from Time Centre, close to the departure point of many activities 

The staff were friendly and the cleaning staff were very polite. The location is very convenient, easily accessible by walking trails, train station, and ferry terminal; all within easy walking distance. 👍
