Guest UserThis hotel was very stylish and clean! It was decorated with vintage furniture and other items.
The owner was also incredibly kind and helped me with an unusual request. Their chat responses were fast, which was very reassuring.
It was also a good distance from the tourist attractions, so getting around for sightseeing was no problem.

Guest UserLocation of the address is inaccurate. Taxis tend to stop at opposite the road. Signage is very small. Need to pay attention to see the blue signage.
I like to quietness and quaintness of this hotel, but bathroom facilities wise, it not fulfilling the basic needs of a traveller because of the shower facility. Otherwise, Environment is good, i like especially the outdoor seating space at ground floor.
The hot water in the bathroom is very inconsistent. Water flow is very low from the shower head. Sometimes water get very hot and almost burnt my skin many times. Bathroom is very cramp very difficult to get even a proper shower. The staff did their best they can to clean up the place, fix the shower head and offer good service. But the facilities of the shower room needs proper maintenance and servicing, inconsistent hot water supply is frustrating.

Nifal is a great new hotel. I spent 3 nights there. What you see in the pictures, is what you get, even better once you see it in person. Amazingly clean, tastefully decorated, high ceiling, two bottles of water, toothbrush, sleepers, and best of all, you’re asked to take your shoes off and place it on a shoe rack by the room. How cool is that? (speaking of cleanliness) Farrux at the front desk speaks English well, very kind and helpful young man. Breakfast is plenty full and individually served at a desire time. Kitchen staff greets you with a smile every morning. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the popular tourist attraction. Couple of restaurants close by with their specialty kebab (chicken, lamb and beef), they also serve beer and wine.

Gourav BoraWe had a great experience. Host is very friendly and considerate. The host went out of the way to arrange vegetarian food for us. Its a little away from centre but easily accessible via taxis which is very cheap. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a big courtyard with trees. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lot. No complaints. Their home made jam is just awesome.

The room I got at this hotel was surprisingly good – clean and tidy! Since I was leaving Samarkand the next day, and this place was affordable and relatively close to the train station, I decided to stay here even though the amenities listed 'no bathroom.' Turns out, it had a bathroom, and it was a great wet/dry separation setup! I actually discussed this with the owner; he didn't understand Chinese and wasn't aware that the platform stated 'no bathroom,' so he'll be updating that. The owner was incredibly kind. He knew we were coming and waited for us at the entrance, and even helped us get a taxi when we left. He's honestly the best hotel owner I met in all of Uzbekistan, absolutely fantastic! I hope my Chinese friends who see this review will choose this hotel when in Samarkand, Uzbekistan – you'll thank me later. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures, so I'm using the hotel's photos.

This family-run guesthouse is highly recommended by locals. Although it's a bit far from tourist attractions and the train station, taxis are readily available and inexpensive in Samarkand. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, although it was a bit chilly at night in October with only a thin sheet. The landlady is very friendly, speaks excellent English, and the breakfast is delicious. The only downside is that the tax wasn't charged according to Ctrip's listing. Please be aware of this, as there might be changes. Although it's not a large amount, it's advisable to keep a receipt for reconciliation.

At check-in, there was no front desk staff available, but a cleaning staff member kindly assisted me.
During check-out, I was offered a cup of coffee and a complimentary taxi service, which was very thoughtful.
The location is perfect — Registan Square is just a pleasant walk away.
I would love to come back and stay here again with my friends or family.

Миронов АндрейVery comfortable at home with the highest quality service. At our request, the European style room was changed to authentic. I recommend from the location and because any reasonable request from morning coffee or wine cheese in the evening before booking a table where to eat is done in good manner.

I was traveling alone. I arrived from Bukhara by overnight train using Yndex Go. The building was at the end of a dark street. Even though it was late at night, around 7:30 pm, I was touched by the welcoming atmosphere.
They asked what time I wanted breakfast, so I requested 8 am.
It took courage to go out at that time, but I walked to Registan Square.
I could see the blue mosque building against the sky and headed towards it.
The breathtaking full view of the illuminated mosque was beautiful.
The walk back to the hotel was a bit dark, but not a problem.
It's a good location for visiting several mausoleums on foot early every morning.
When I ate in the courtyard, small children came out, which was adorable.
The mother and grandfather couldn't speak the language, but they were very kind.
