Location is good, walking distance to old town and bus station, the bed is spacious but could be more comfortable. I needed to wait about 15 minutes at the empty reception until checking in, and I had to be the one to ”make a move” and say I wanted to check in when someone arrived there, otherwise I would be just standing there at the reception with my backpack and no one would approach me or say anything. They give bottled water daily, though

The room is spacious and tidy, with air conditioning, and the bathroom is clean and tidy without odor. The boss's service attitude is very good. Convenient to travel, there are countless foods nearby. It is a pedestrian street. It is very close to Hefei Station. It is the subway to go out. This price is super cost-effective. The whole Hefei can't find a second one so good.

The beds in the dormitory were clean and hygienic. The room was well-equipped with everything you could need, like air conditioning, a dehumidifier, and mosquito repellent. The shower water was nice and hot, making for a very comfortable stay. You can also easily pick up small amenities like toothbrushes, trash bags, and slippers at the front desk. The service was excellent, and they even shared helpful tips for visiting Huangshan every day. The guesthouse is very close to the transfer point – just walk straight up along the stream to get there.

This hostel is fantastic! The Kunlun Hostels in Huangshan consistently offer high standards in terms of service and facilities. I've stayed at three of them so far and absolutely love them; they all have a great hostel vibe. The owner even organizes get-togethers for guests to chat and socialize. This particular hostel in Xidi also has a small pub where you can enjoy drinks and listen to music.

I chose this place because I wanted to stay in a loft, but it was on the top floor and didn't actually have windows, so I ended up picking a bottom bunk. The loft felt cozy but lacked storage, which wasn't ideal as I had a lot of luggage, so I gave up on it.
1. **Hygiene**: Very clean. No trash, dust, or hair visible. It felt so clean, like no one had ever stayed there before.
2. **Bedding**: There are power outlets and clip-on night lights. The bed curtain consists of two half-panels.
3. **Rooms**: The top floor has lofts. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors have their own dedicated living rooms.
4. **Bathroom**: If the place is full, 8 people share two sinks and one shower room. The shower room is spacious and very clean. It includes a hairdryer, toilet, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, and a comb.
5. **Dining**: Meals are served on the first floor. I'm not sure if guests on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors can eat in their living rooms.
6. **Service**: The auntie (hostess) is very talkative and enthusiastic. The front desk sells items like chocolates, potato chips, and mineral water, as well as hiking poles and raincoats.
7. **Laundry**: Located on the first floor. There's a separate small room next door for hanging clothes, and there's a huge Golden Retriever there.
8. **Surroundings**: It takes a short walk to find places to eat, and food delivery is also available. You can order breakfast from the auntie; see Picture 1 – I thought it was quite tasty. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would've had it again today.
9. **Transportation**: It's a bit far from Huangshan North Station, but it's very convenient to arrange a car with the auntie!
10. **Going to Huangshan**: My route was to hike up the back mountain and take the cable car down from the front mountain (Yuping Cableway ¥90). The back mountain has fewer people and seems slightly gentler, but the path is quite boring. If you don't enjoy hiking, you might want to reconsider as it's physically demanding, and supplies along the way are scarce and expensive. The opposite direction would be Ziguang Pavilion → Yungou Cableway, which costs ¥80. Hiking poles are an option, but I didn't bring any. Check the weather beforehand; if it rains, there won't be much to see, so bringing a raincoat is a good idea. Definitely bring water, and bread depending on your needs. If you're hiking, it's best to bring both; I had about two bottles of water and one loaf of bread. The ticket includes the uphill bus, uphill cable car, entrance ticket, downhill cable car, and downhill bus. The closest stop to the hostel is Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Station, which is the first stop for the downhill scenic transport. If you miss it, you'll have to walk, as traffic jams (both public buses and ride-shares) can make it hard to catch a ride.
We were all very satisfied with the Jixi International Youth Hostel where we stayed this time.
The room is clean and spacious, and the reception area is comfortable and elegant. Although there is no elevator, the staircase is spacious.
The hostel is across the road from the high-speed rail station, and the passenger transport hub is right next to the high-speed rail station. It is very convenient to take the bus to attractions such as the Huihang Ancient Road.
We booked three nights, which was non-cancellable, but due to the typhoon, we checked out a day early. The hostel and Ctrip worked together to help us get it done (including a refund) in a few minutes.
I will stay in this hostel again when I go to Jixi in the future.

This place is magical. It's an oasis of peace and creativity that looks and feels like a living museum. Nature, the host, is a very interesting and warm person. From moment one we felt welcome and inspired. Definitely the most unique place we've visited in China and a must for anyone who is interested in art, Chinese history, architecture, nature and much more. Thank you Nature! We hope to be back soon.

Advantages: The provincial exam did not increase the price [God]
Men and women in different suites, sisters rest assured
Stayed here for 2 days, the quadruple room was 35, the next day the boss took the initiative to find, said that today is the provincial exam, the room is tight, remind if you continue to live, hurry up and place an order
Overall relatively clean, everyone is of high quality, no noise
After eating takeaway in the public area, the tables are kept clean
Very close to Hefei South Station, convenient transportation
Get up early to catch the high-speed rail, take a taxi for 10 minutes
Disadvantages: shampoo shower gel can't foam, haha, and the boss is a boy, there will be time to come to the suite or room, everyone pay attention to pull the curtain when resting
I have lived in several youth hostels these days when I came out to wander. I feel that this is the best. There is no emotion without comparison. The shoes worn outside are placed at the gate, and the slippers are changed to enter the door. The indoor floor is very clean. Then the overall feeling is very warm and comfortable, the bedding is cotton, and the other youth travels behind are chemical fibers, which will be very stuffy. The password door lock is also very convenient and safe. If it is full, there will be 6 people. It just happened that when I went there was less people on the off-season working day, it would be more comfortable. After I arrived in Jiangsu, a sister asked me if I had a recommendation. I recommended it to her because I really felt very good. I hope the boss has been driving so hard, and I will come back to play and live in your house if I have the opportunity in the future.
I said that I had no hope of going on a trip. I drove all the way to my family. It was already more than 10 o'clock. The boss patiently pointed the way. Seeing that we brought the children and upgraded the big bed. I have to say that the hostel was cleaned up by the proprietress, not broken, not old, not dirty, really satisfied with the sanitary condition, the quilt cover is a bit old, but the washing is very clean. I don’t know how much better than this expensive hotel I set before. The proprietress is clean and responsive, really good, highly recommended! I will book it next time.

Very Good
I had a good stay here. The room was large and had a nice sunroom attached, the cafe in the lobby was also pleasant. It’s a very short walk to the mountain entrance and the host was very helpful with giving advice for hiking routes, buying tickets, and recommending restaurants. He also speaks fluent English, which is nice for international travelers.

Perfect place for Huangshan. Volunteers were super friendly and made incredible food for us. Rooms were very nice and even had a pool table in which we played against the locals. Very recommended.

I recently stayed at Kunlun Youth Hostel at the Huangshan scenic spot, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! This hostel has been running for many years, and you can truly feel the warmth and care they put into every detail. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming—it really feels like a home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily Huangshan climbing guide session at 8:00 PM. The staff provides incredibly helpful tips and strategies for tackling the trails, making the entire hiking experience much smoother and more enjoyable. What impressed me the most was that the session is offered in both Chinese and English, so international travelers don’t have to worry about language barriers at all! If you’re planning a trip to Huangshan, I can’t recommend Kunlun Youth Hostel enough. It’s the perfect place to stay for a comfortable, friendly, and well-informed adventure. Don’t miss it!
GGuest UserThis hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is nearby to Tangkou (5 minute drive) where you can get the bus to Huangshan. The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful - she helped me buy all my tickets for Huangshan which as a foreigner I was not able to do myself. Also she dropped me off and picked me up from Tangkou for free. The hotel serves food which is tasty and reasonably priced. I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would recommend it to both local and foreign tourists!

I had a wonderful experience at this charming hotel! Despite its size, the cozy ambiance enveloped me, creating a homely feel. The owners were exceptionally warm and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. It was evident that this small establishment had a heart, adding an extra layer of charm to my stay. Highly recommended for those seeking genuine hospitality.
