Stayed 1 night late August. 24kms and ¥40 taxi ride from ZhongweiNan fast train station. The area used to be a farm on a bend of the Yellow River. There are numerous accommodation areas, all looking similar. Apparently, one person owns all, and rents out clusters to various entities. Ours had a restaurant, but it wasn't open. For dinner and included breakfast, we went to the first restaurant on the right as you enter through the security gate from the carpark. Peaceful part of the world. Facility had a nice little pool, but water was too cold. Too dangerous to swim in the river. As you face the river, we walked right to a glamping area and had a cold beer. There is a petting zoo type deal on the way. To the left, you eventually climb up to a mini version of the great wall. Keep walking, for a side track to the river, or up to a little pavilion after crossing a road. + points, well set up, peaceful and secure. - points, zero English and most frustrating experience I've had in China even with apps both ways. We all travel with a price to quality/experience ratio. In this instance, far too high, and I wouldn't be back or recommend this place

It was a great experience. The boss is also a very enthusiastic and interesting lady. She very thoughtfully recommended the features here and planned a route for us. The hotel is also very well-equipped and has regional characteristics, especially during the sunset. I have always longed for the desert for a different kind of scenery. This time I took my children on a trip with my best friend. The store called me in advance and sent me the exact location. We arrived at around 6 pm. After contacting the itinerary in advance, the car drove to the parking spot sent by the boss on WeChat, and the boss drove us to the campsite (about ten minutes one way, and the round trip was like riding a desert surfing car, which was quite interesting). The tent was very large and suitable for two adults and two children. It looked well-planned and relatively clean (a small amount of sand on the ground was inevitable). The public bathroom was also relatively clean/with sufficient water for convenient washing (you need to bring your own slippers, towels and other personal items). At night, the fireworks set off by various families in the entire campsite were quite interesting, and the bonfire activity that lasted for more than half an hour was also very relaxing and joyful. 3 yuan for mineral water/small drinks is a conscience price in the desert. To experience the desert tent, you must book an air-conditioned one. We arrived at noon, and the tent was too hot during the day to accommodate us. Because we arrived early, someone had checked out so we got an air-conditioned tent. Our family of five squeezed into the air-conditioned tent, and it was fine for sleeping at night. But it was too humid even with the electric blanket on. Before we went, we thought the tents would be far apart, but they were basically not far from each other. We parked our car in the parking lot and a car came to pick us up. We brought whatever food we could. The breakfast in the morning was good.
