We loved our stay at Wicker Park Inn! For anyone visiting Chicago, THIS is precisely the area you should stay in if you want to experience the best of what the city has to offer. You're steps away from Milwaukee Ave. and a short walk to Division where there's more amazing restaurants, cafes, and bars than you'll know what to do with. The room was very nice with impressive furnishings, tons of space. Only small complaints are we wish the shower had better pressure and in the summer heat we wished we could've grabbed more water than what was in our room when we first arrived. We can't wait to come back to Chicago and stay again, though!

This is a lovely home, our room was very nice, it was clean, had an en-suite bathroom with tub and free standing shower. However, the innkeepers for the B&B were practically nonexistent. Upon our arrival, there was no one there to check us in. There was another couple who had also just arrived, they were on the phone speaking with the hosts trying to find out what we were supposed to do. We were told which rooms we were assigned to and that the doors to the rooms would be open and we should just go in! Breakfast the next morning was a big disappointment. There was NO COFFEE! The only milk available was almond milk, only teas available were decaffeinated. The breakfast we were served was definitely not the delicious breakfast others have described. We never saw the hostess and only saw the host when he came in from the kitchen to plop down plate on the small serving table. Definitely not the warm, friendly interaction I expected based on other comments I had read concerning this establishment.

Very nice clean room, and the grounds seem well taken care of. I felt safe and slept well. The coldest A/C I have ever had in a hotel!! Hardwood floor was a nice touch and appreciated, makes everything feel cleaner. Breakfast was surprisingly good, not a full spread just the basics but more than I expected, and the dining area was very clean. Staff was friendly, Top knotch econolodge!

This is an exceptional well run hotel. I am from a hospitality background and know that people like Adie are as scarce as ”hen's teeth”in the industry. Adie does everything for you to feel comfortable, and knows everything about the locale and what is needed for you to enjoy your stay. If I was still involved in the Hotel industry I would be trying to get Adie to work for me, she has all the attitude and aptitude to be very successful in this industry. The room and bed were very comfortable, the breakfast on time and an improvement on the usual offering. If you want a great place to stay in Chicago that is not a big name hotel chain, you will enjoy staying here. Disclaimer: I had never met Adie before staying here and am not from, or live in the USA.
