So far this is the most expansive room I booked, come with front view of Mt Fuji, room 412. However the Mt Fuji view did not command the price tag because unless you stay in for the whole day to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji. View of Mt Fuji can enjoy from all angle. Best of the hotel is the coffee serve which is the best so far, among dozen of hotels. The welcome drink of soft drink also last till 7pm, which is shorter that most of other hotel. May be I am biased, where the hotel have multiple accolades from Rakuten Travel, catering to a lot of local Japanese clients. The public bath also not great, where I have experience much better and real onsen at Ariman Onsen area. Area of improvement: 1. In the level one inner bath, there is a cover for the exhaust fan and is not mounted back after maintenance. 2. At the fifth level bath, there is one washing cubicle just besides the bath with no cover to prevent the person showering water into the bath.
Walking distance (around 400m?) has 24hrs convenient store.
The room is very spacious.
Sadly I didn't manage to see Mt.Fuji from the room the day I went, but they do provide a Mountain View Room.
No issue with all the services.
No issue for those who cant speak Japanese, they can communicate in both English and Mandarin here.
For the bicycle rental price, it is 1000yen for 2hrs.
But do note that they didn't provide a private bathroom, it is a public bathroom (Not a concern for me, but for those who prefer a better privacy do note about this)
A lot of plugs in the room.
Didn't face any issue with this stay. Can earn my 5-stars rating.
The staff were extremely friendly.
Although this accommodation is frequented by foreigners, the glamping is very relaxing and there is an open-air bath, so the night view is beautiful and in the morning, depending on the weather, you can see Mt. Fuji right in front of you.
The torii gate inside the accommodation offers a view of Mt. Fuji and is a great spot for taking photos.
We stayed with our family, and it was an accommodation we would like to use again.
First of all, the mountain view room has a stunning view of Mount Fuji. Secondly, the hotel shuttle bus runs every hour and is very convenient. Finally, I have to say that the service staff are friendly and fluent in English, so there is no barrier to communication. Thanks to them for our wonderful trip!
eautiful Fuji view, relaxing onsen, and great hospitality
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view of Mount Fuji was absolutely stunning — one of the highlights of my trip. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel very welcome. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious, featuring a nice variety of Japanese dishes (see the photos for yourself!). The onsen was relaxing and clean, perfect after a long day of sightseeing.
I also appreciated the good facilities, including the comfortable room and the thoughtful touch of providing a yukata for guests to wear during their stay. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the Fuji area, offering a perfect balance of comfort, food, and beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!
My stay at the hotel is very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful, the food is yum, the room is clean, the view of my. fuji is stunning, the hot spring is relaxing. We will definitely return back jn future.
This was the hotel where we spent the most nights during our trip to Japan.
First, let me explain why we chose this hotel. We were a group of four on a golf trip near Mount Fuji, and chartering a car in Japan is incredibly expensive. After two days of searching on Xiaohongshu and Ctrip, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The owner is Chinese and offers a paid shuttle service daily from the hotel to the golf course. This service was incredibly thoughtful and convenient! While it's a paid service, it was a much more affordable and practical option compared to chartering a private car!
Moving on to the service, the owners, a couple, are very genuine and down-to-earth. They sincerely provided dining recommendations, without any hidden agenda. The restaurants they suggested were all excellent value for money (a sushi restaurant and a yakiniku place) – delicious and affordable! They even took us to witness a panoramic sunset over Mount Fuji, which we truly appreciated!
Lastly, regarding the hotel's location and facilities. It's situated at Lake Yamanaka near Mount Fuji, offering a peaceful and natural environment away from the crowds and bustle of Lake Kawaguchiko. It's definitely the top choice for anyone seeking tranquility. The rooms are incredibly spacious (definitely large by Japanese standards, allowing us to fully open our suitcases), perfect for families! The bathroom features a modern wet/dry separation, which is a great touch. The hotel itself is a beautiful traditional Japanese-style building. Right next door is the popular café, Paper Moon. (Unfortunately, due to our early starts and late finishes with golf, we didn't get a chance to try it. We'll definitely make sure to visit next time!) You can see Mount Fuji right from the doorstep, along with graceful swans!
Overall, if you're planning a two-day stay around Mount Fuji, this is absolutely a high-value choice!
Impeccable service from all hotel staff, perfect view of Mount Fuji from our room window, delicious breakfast. In front of the hotel is Lake Kawaguchiko and a wonderful park called Yagisaki.
I don’t have much to say. I just love everything here. Just one thing that I’d personally, as a person who came with only a single pair of sneakers, I would like to have a pair of sandals provided by hotel, that could be used to walk within the camp area or from the room to restroom.
🏨 the ryokan turned out to be much more beautiful than i expected from what i've seen on the pictures here
🗺️ the location is great, and even though we didn't get the room with the lake view, the view was still amazing. there's also a konbini and a few cafés right next to the ryokan, so it was very convenient
🕴️the staff was kind, it was easy to communicate in english
🧖♀️ didn't attend the onsen myself, but my friends told me they liked it
⭐️ taking one star off cause the shower-head was a bit broken and the room wasn't clean enough to my taste

GGuest UserExcellent location, just a few minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The room was spacious with a tatami bed and a bunk bed, it can comfortably sleep 3 people. There is also an air purifier in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared, they are spotless.
GGuest UserI booked the Fujisan view room and it is absolutely worth it. Amazing view from the room and their comforter is soooo fluffy. They provide yukata(?) toothbrush, water heater, and green tea in the room. They also have clothing iron if you need it. Only thing we wish they have is a mirror in the room but the toilet was near so I guess it is fine. The inn is right in front of Kawaguchiko station so its also very convenient. The receptionist lady also offer to help me call Yamato when I asked her about an issue I have with my luggage delivery which saved me a lot of headache. The public bath was amazing as you can have a view of Fujisan while bathing.

GGuest UserA beautiful quaint guesthouse with a goat pet. Ben san and Kaori san were great host. I had dinner at the guest house which was beautifully presented. It was a 5 course italian theme meal with coffee. Thr gurst house is a littlr further from train station but pick up can be arranged. There were many restaurants within walking distance from the guest house. Several Walking and hiking trails are doable from guesthouse. The walls were not totally soundproof, but no issue in japan. My room had a sun roof which was great but it also woke me up with the sun light shinning through early morning. May not be a bad thing as it helped tp start the day early.
GGuest UserCottage Tozawa Center is located marvelously right opposite Mount Fuji. Cottage Tozawa Center is somewhere in between Kawaguchiko town center and Oishi town centre. Best location because we could see all the fireworks in the living room. The unit E1 has the best view, I think. One can sit in the living room or bedroom or balcony comfortably to admire Mount Fuji.
It would be more convenient for tourists who drive. No meals provided. Have to prepare futon by yourself. May rent a place for camping, which would be quite a unique experience during both winter and summer.
It's a hidden gem because it is lesser known among international tourists.
GGladys KimotoFor family of 4, the room of this hotel is EXCELLENT! So comfortable, cozy, spacious, clean and safe! Complete with ALL AMENITIES we need, plus they have complementary drinks and snacks, Kid-Safe environment plus the night lights at the backyard of this room is STUNNING!!!! We went to Yamanashi to visit Mt. Fuji and super thankful that we got to stay in this Hotel, 15-20mins drive away from Lake Kawaguchiko, where the best photo spots for Mt. Fuji, they also have in-hotel food and beverages for sale, easy to transact, and would really feel at home because of the Privacy and Security plus Cozy ambiance ☺️ Will definitely come back here!!!
KkimkimujintaniIt takes about 15 minutes to walk from Kofu Station. There was a staff inside. (Recently, Japanese guest houses are corona and there are many unmanned places where staff do not correspond.) The staff response was normal. The building is also like that, but the building was old and it was a Russian style building that reminded me of the old building when I traveled to Russia from Japan.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at this place. The room was quite big, we were a group of 3 adults. It had a 711 right infront of it so you don't get hungry. The bus stop was just a few steps away. You have to take the red line from kawaguchiko station and it stops almost infront of the place. And they had bikes for rent with a discounted price for their guests. The downside was they had no elevator so it was quite a feat to carry your luggages but they only had 2 floors anyway so it was still all good. Even if it was very cold outside, the room felt very warm and cozy. They had a small table tatami style where you can eat your food.
