I really loved the simple and elegant decor of the room. The owner, an auntie, was incredibly warm and friendly! I'd give her a perfect 100! I stayed in the 'Xiao Man' room, which was newly renovated and really nice, plus it had smart home features throughout. The cleanliness was spotless, making my stay incredibly reassuring. The air conditioning was cool, and I slept soundly all night. The next day when we were leaving, we forgot something, and the auntie actually reminded us herself. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time!!! This area is also a lot of fun, I highly recommend everyone to come and visit!!

I want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

Spotlessly clean and in a great location. The owner is incredibly friendly – he arranged a pickup for us from the train station even though we only contacted him on the day of arrival at 1 AM, and our train arrived at 6 AM. He also brought us some wonderful peaches picked from his own peach tree. They were absolutely delicious. The room rate also included a round-trip transfer to Wangxian Valley Scenic Area, which was really convenient. On top of that, we were given early check-in, and the owner kindly carried our heavy suitcases all the way up to the third floor for us

The room is clean and tidy, the environment is good, it is very quiet at night, and the bedding is very comfortable. The housekeeper is attentive and proactively provides tea making service. The chef's dishes taste very good. The overall experience is good, so I extended it for two days and will come again next time if I have the chance.

Hello. We are a couple from Holland and are spending our third week of our vacation in China in Huangling cun. We planned to only spend one night in Huangling but we were enjoying ourselves here so much that we extended our stay with an extra night. The B&B is located at the top of the mountain and our room at the B&B was also on the topfloor. The hallways on each floor and the room itself are tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. The room is fully equipped. All is looking tidy and sparkling clean. The door next gives access to a roof terrace with laundry facilities and wiring for hanging clothes to dry. The boss (Mme Zhan) gave us a warm welcome and came down the mountain to pick us up where the taxi driver could not go any further up. Although we booked the Tatami room she suggested us to move into the room next door. That one comes with a balcony. We gladly accepted her advice. After having refreshed ourselves in the room she showed us the footpath up the mountain that leads to the entrance. She told us to contact her via Wechat at the end of the evening so that she could bring us back to the hotel again. The next morning she brought us down the mountain so that we could have breakfast near the bus station. from there we could easily take the bus to another beautiful old village in the neighbourhood, Likeng. The boss dropped us off and wished us a good day. We did not know that while we were eating the went back up to the B&B and came down again to bring us an umbrella to provide shelter from rain or sunshine. We did not request this. We very much appreciated this kind and polite gesture. We had a great time in Huangling village on our first day. Our second day was in Likeng village. The atmosphere in Likeng was very relaxing. It felt really authentic and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you boss and thank you all fine people in Huangling village and Likeng village. We had the time of our lives in your beautiful villages 😍

Shuttle service from Wangxian Valley Scenic Area entrance to the guesthouse: The owner offers convenient pick-up and drop-off. Service: Great. The breakfast was delicious, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very close to the scenic area, the property is brand new and spotless, and the room is quite spacious, making it easy to store luggage.

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

We had a fantastic stay, arrival is straightforward, a shuttle service at the entry gate brings you to the check-in lobby and helpful staff were available to support moving our suitcases to rooms. We had a wonderful butler Xiaohui who initiated all communication via weChat app providing us with guidance, tips and time schedules for various activities which made our stay smooth. Thank you very much for checking in on us regularly during our short stay we appreciate this. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are a larger family or group given the close proximity to the carparking and shuttle service which really helped (lot of steps once you venture into the touristy areas). Room was great, good AC, standard towels provided (this is sometimes a concern to travellers), clothes steamer was provided upon request. Breakfast was a mix of western and eastern choices with one or two interesting active stations for cuisine options. For foreign tourists visiting this area, weChat and Alipay are crucial alongside Google Translate. The beautiful village lights turn off at midnight, so becomes a photographer paradise once day trip tourists disappear and the vilage landscape becomes yours. I rarely stay in B&Bs when I travel, so this was a really pleasant surprise. The room was on the second floor, bright, cozy, clean, and had a separate wet and dry area, plus smart home features throughout. The owner's family was very welcoming and provided pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area. This was especially helpful when it was difficult to get a taxi after leaving the scenic area at 9 PM. If I get the chance to visit Wangxian Valley again, I'll definitely stay here.
