쮸블리블리This is a trendy, hip new hotel. The staff are young and friendly. Breakfast is a simple Western-style set, usually served in the 1st-floor lounge, but it can get crowded. Check-in is done via a QR code issued on the day, and you can also enter with a 4-digit PIN. If you're Korean, think of it like a familiar door lock. For the public bath, you pick up amenities on the 1st floor, take the bath basket from your room, and can bathe on the 2nd floor. Everything else is great, but the parking is genuinely awful!
They use an affiliated parking lot behind the hotel, and it says 'free entry/exit for 1 day,' but in reality, each entry and exit is charged separately. So, what should have been 1500 yen for one night ended up being nearly 3500 yen for two nights 💢😒😡. When you pay, entries are recorded from check-in, and exits are charged individually based on check-out times. I even used a discount coupon, and it still cost that much; without the discount, it would have been over 45,000 yen. This is the absolute worst. The guest parking system needs to be improved. Guests should only be charged 1500 yen per night for the duration of their stay, regardless of how many times they enter or exit. The hotel just needs to register the parking... Seriously, only bring a car if you don't plan on driving it once you check in. It's really bad. That's why I'm deducting stars.

Used this hotel for an overnight stay in Sapporo before my son's exam. I was able to book it at a very affordable price and was impressed by the new facilities. The room only had a shower, but the separate toilet made it stress-free to use. I was a bit disappointed because I had mistakenly thought it was attached to Escon Field due to my own poor search, but it seems there's a bus available, so I'd love to visit the stadium if I get the chance again.

Cosy, retro feels with good amenities (slippers, wifi, refrigerator etc, public coffee/hot water/tea machine), good value for money given the location. Beautiful garden with sakura trees. Also there's a seicomart next door, which is very convenient. Building is rather quaint and homely, which I prefer to the cookie cutter hotels closer to the commercial stretch of Lake Toya. There was a public bath that I was a little too intimidated/tired to use, but definitely check it out if it's your thing. Very friendly, nice staff who checked us in and out.

We were here scouting a bit for the coming winter and really liked the location very close to the slopes and also a few restaurants a short walk away. Downside perhaps that no Lawson or similar in the immediate surroundings but maybe there was some other minimart around the lift station. Just spent a night here so not much time to drift around the area.
Easy parking in front, fast check in and a kind offering to help haul the suitcases upstairs. Hotel is in super good shape, felt almost brand new. Nice public area with couches and a fireplace. Room was good size and comfortable for 3 but especially for a ski resort it really lacked storage for clothes. Could easily have fit something under the bunk bed. Also in the bath theres no place to hang towels or clothes, just a really tiny foldable drying rack. Room fridge was not cooling either and pretty small.
Breakfast was set menu and nice for this stay but for winter I would rather have a buffet to load up for a day on the mountain. Might be though they change for winter and i realize that buffet may not be a sustainable option for low season and few guests.
All in all it was a good stay and we will definitely keep this in mind for the next visit to Furano 👍🏼

This review is for accomodation at BASE SHIRAOI at 199-327 Kitayoshihara, Shiraoi, Shiraoi District, Hokkaido 059-0923, Japan.
We were told to change to BASE SHIRAOI on the day of checking in due to paint smell at Manyi's Onsen House.
BASE SHIRAOI has everything we need. There are soy sauce, coffee beans, and wasabi, The host has even prepared child toilet seat and sanitary pads! LOL.
The unit is air-conditioned. We still used it though it was around 18 degrees during the night because we didn't want to open the windows.
Washing machine and dryer.
The unit has a dinning table and a big coffee table. A table outside the house good for BBQ.
You can dry your clothes at the entrance area, designed to hang big winter clothes.
The only issue is the private onsen and shower area that is not so private. The neighbor could potentially see you in your best naked shape through the transparent glass roof. We covered the glass window in the shower area with the styrofoam covers for the onsen. LOL.
Convenient stores are about 3 minutes.
Overall stay is enjoyable as the unit is big enough for 10 people. Quiet environment. Enough space to park few cars outside the house.

It is a B&B run by ********* and speaks Chinese. Dinner and breakfast are charged separately. Dinner is 4,500 yen and breakfast is 1,500 yen. I went there once in autumn and winter, and the food has not changed. If you are staying consecutively or going there for the second time, it is recommended to inform the owner in advance, and they will update some dishes for you. The room is a bit old and the public bathroom on the first floor is not open. If you have a car at night, it’s very convenient to go to Shinei-no-oka to watch the stars!

Anonymous UserEverything was perfect during my stay here. The basic facilities were complete, public transportation was easily accessible, there was snow right in front of the hotel, and it was easy to find ramen, especially with the famous Sapporo ramen shop Hangryu nearby. Overall, 5 stars!

Kobe FukaeThe hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place.

I stayed on a Saturday night and was warmly welcomed by a sweet petite lady at check-in. I wish I’d asked her name. The building’s exterior looked like something out of Ghibli movie, and the interior felt like a cozy tavern from an anime. The room, toilet, and bath were all very clean. Highly recommended for budget travelers who value cleanliness and comfort. I wish I’d had time to try a meal at their restaurant. It looked inviting..

Guest UserAlthough it was inconvenient, I wasn't particularly bothered by the small toilet and lack of a sink, as I had read about them in other reviews. I didn't realize the living room light switch was next to the exhaust fan and contacted them late at night, but they were very helpful. I was very grateful. It wasn't too far from the subway exit, and there was a Seicomart convenience store along the way, which was also convenient.
Also, as mentioned in other reviews, I was grateful that the air conditioning was on when I arrived.
