Amazing hotel and friendly staff. The manager Dima even added us on WhatsApp to give us further instructions how to reach the hotel. He also gave us information about the city, parking possibilities, shopping & sightseeings. The breakfasts on the balcony of our room were unforgettable! Really recommend it. They even have a washing machine.

The self checkin was very easy, detailed instructions having been sent. The apartment was well appointed and very conveniently located close to the railway station and road access to the mainland. It is up 3 flights of stairs so be wary of that if you have mobility issues. It is also in the eaves which was very charming, but maybe not for the very tall.

Hotel location is very close to the train station, the counter staff service is also very good, the overall space is very clean and tidy, but the room is not very soundproof, it is obvious that someone can hear the sound at around 8 o'clock during the day, but basically everyone is very quiet at night, the whole hotel has only five rooms, It's not too messy.

Pros: proximity to everything, if you want to explore, you can change mid-day, rest, and take a shower before heading out in the evening; breakfast is sufficient to satisfy your hunger, 24/7 COFFEE 😀, bathroom is clean, easy entry at night, quiet neighborhood. Cons: close to everything, it's a shame not to go, which means more walking.
The place itself is wonderful, wonderful view, elegant swimming pool, peace and quiet, a car is essential. The apartments are spacious and sufficiently equipped. It would be great if it weren't for the old-style electric stove, which didn't work in two su

Great
AAnonymous UserThe antique hotel in the scenic area has two routes to reach the hotel from the train station. Turn left at the train station and cross a bridge. Turn right and cross three bridges. It takes 10 minutes to walk. It is more friendly for people with large suitcases. The door is relatively hidden. There is a Chinese-run supermarket next to it, and the room facilities have a sense of history. When I checked in, the boss was very enthusiastic to help carry my luggage upstairs, and introduced how to buy tickets, take the water bus to various attractions, and take a boat to watch the sunset at dusk.
GGuest UserThis place is a real gem in Venice.
Location
Location is very good, walkable distance to anywhere (10 mins to Piazza San Marco/St. Mark’s Square). Lots to eat in the vicinity and lots of interesting art galleries on the street.
Room
Our place was on the top floor and consisted of two rooms. Both had classical decoration. Our daughter especially loved her room. Our room was also very romantic. Bathroom is modern and brand new.
Check-in/Staff
Entrance and check-in is automatic, very easy and hassle-free. The hosts are always reachable and answer via phone/Whatsapp immediately in case of questions. Easy communication in English.
Price/Performance Ratio
Impressive. Everything was better than other hotels in Venice that we paid double the price.
Extras
Lots to eat and drink. Complimentary coffee, croissants, crackers, water, orange juice etc.
Downside
The only downside was having to carry the luggage two floors, but I guess that’s common in Venice.
MMaximilianIt was a wonderful stay at Ca San Polo in the heart of Venice! Checkin and checkout was completely smooth. Breakfast and especially the service was outstanding. More than enough variety and options and nice persons who will try to make you happy and give a good start in the day. Note that food in Venice is quite expensive so this breakfast can save you one meal! Don't forget to relax on the rooftop of Ca San Polo - you can spot Campanile and vice versa! I achieved it - check the photo! :D The rooms are having everything you need like on the photos and come in pure traditional Venice style, which is very cute! The location is just perfect to reach anything. Next to a Vapaoretto station but also maybe even closer and faster to any point of interested in your mind. Thank you so much for this nice stay Ca San Polo team - when we come we will stay with you again. Cheers!
AAnonymous UserThe bed & breakfast, the room, and the service all are top-notch.
BUT the location really is NOT the best especially if you’re traveling alone: 20+ minutes from old town by walking, didn’t feel safe to do the walk alone at night (even in the daylight I switched to the other side of the pedestrian walk to avoid crowds that made me feel uncomfortable). On Sunday, not many places opened for breakfast. If I’d visit Verona again, I’d stay in the old town.
BBrazziSmall room and in a lofty undertouch for a night is well, a bad common point, cleaning ok but it could be a little more ordered.
Gentle and available management
GGuest UserThe room and the whole hotel are very clean. When we checked in, the boss was very patient and explained in detail. The breakfast was rich in variety. The boss also took the initiative to put together two breakfast tables for the four of us. The details were very detailed. We first booked a family room for one night to try it out, and the next day we added a standard room for one night at the front desk. Although the price was much more expensive than the family room, the room was much larger and it was worth the money. It was really a pleasant, warm and comfortable stay!
NNagasakiIt will be an inn where the evaluation is divided depending on the person. Since the apartment is rented in three separate rooms, the kitchen, toilet, and terrace are shared, so it was convenient to use it as we wanted during the time when there were not many people. There is no washing machine, but there is a drying area. The sheets and towels are clean, but you shouldn't expect fixed under the bed or under the sink. I think it depends on the time and the members staying.
GGuest UserThe photos do no justice to this place, and my opinion is they should be updated , as soon as I arrived I regretted not booking another day. All the details that are everywhere are very nice , beautiful and well thought out. Very homy everything. The owner was very nice. It’s in quick walking distance to the piazza. Very very clean. There was a reading nook in a closet under the stairs with a rocking chair for the fade of heart that are scared of horror movies it can be intimidating 😂 but at least there’s a key to lock it. It’s an old building so it’s not the best of soundproof inside but from the outside it’s very good
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is very good, on the main island of Venice, it takes a while to get off the train station. The hotel is quiet, open the door from the street, there is a large internal space, there is a small yard, you can sit here, read a book and read a computer is very convenient. However, I didn’t pay attention to this when I booked. This is a homestay and not a hotel. There is actually no service here. No one cleans for a few days, but the room is very small and there is really not much to clean, but the most inconvenient thing is that there is almost no place to put things in the room. The practicality is very poor, there is a small table, it is full of things, it is very crowded, and the two boxes are not easy to find a good location to open. Check-in and check-out here are self-occupied. The rooms on the island look like there are no screens. It is too stuffy without opening the windows. There are many mosquitoes that are very poisonous. The room is equipped with electric mosquito coils, but the taste is really awkward. I pulled out the electric mosquito coil and chose to open the window for a short time.
JJojochongWe are given a room which is a distance away from the reception - where there are no shelter, involved crossing a bridge and stairs. it was raining when we checked in - which results in great inconvenience. The place we were located at does not have lift and we are on the 2nd floor. Take note to those who wants to book this place w big luggages.
Other than that, room itself was clean and decoration was nice and modern. Aircon does not appear to be working as we felt that there isn’t ventilation in the room when windows are closed (for safety reasons). Room comes w free Mini bar as there were no breakfast.
