The room is large, with high ceilings. The bathroom is a separate room, not very convenient, but good. Light breakfast, close location to St. Mark's Square. In principle, everything is good and if we are in Venice again, we will stay here.

Amazing hotel and friendly staff. The manager Dima even added us on WhatsApp to give us further instructions how to reach the hotel. He also gave us information about the city, parking possibilities, shopping & sightseeings. The breakfasts on the balcony of our room were unforgettable! Really recommend it. They even have a washing machine.
Beautiful house, renovated in 2023. Equipped with solar panels and heat pump. Modern decor. Very friendly and helpful hostess/owner. We discovered that our hostess/owner spoke very good German. This helped with communication. Also delicious

GGuest UserBreakfast is not available every day. Just in time! Very warm. The trolley is delivered directly to the room. There are also many varieties.
AAnonymous UserThe antique hotel in the scenic area has two routes to reach the hotel from the train station. Turn left at the train station and cross a bridge. Turn right and cross three bridges. It takes 10 minutes to walk. It is more friendly for people with large suitcases. The door is relatively hidden. There is a Chinese-run supermarket next to it, and the room facilities have a sense of history. When I checked in, the boss was very enthusiastic to help carry my luggage upstairs, and introduced how to buy tickets, take the water bus to various attractions, and take a boat to watch the sunset at dusk.
GGuest UserWe stayed at Red Lion Guest House in the beginning of July. The place is very clean and tidy . Very well maintained . It is also very quiet despite the fact that is on the main road. Every room has air con. Furniture is in new condition. They are few restaurants/ pizzeria around and gelato shops as well. People are very friendly. Owners very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Choice of transport. Tram stop is just outside the house. For 1.50 euro return you can get the tram number 1 to Venice . It takes 30-40 minutes. The tram is running until midnight. There is a bus station just 100 meters from the house to get to Marco Polo Airport. Bus number is 45. The cost is 8 euro to the airport. No matter what transport you use . Just bare in mind that Saturday and Sunday the public services are reduced. Great place to stay and great location. Owners are so kind. Lovely breakfast and coffee as well. We have even tried the fruit from their garden. It was lovely. I will definitely recommend this place.
GGuest UserThis place is a real gem in Venice.
Location
Location is very good, walkable distance to anywhere (10 mins to Piazza San Marco/St. Mark’s Square). Lots to eat in the vicinity and lots of interesting art galleries on the street.
Room
Our place was on the top floor and consisted of two rooms. Both had classical decoration. Our daughter especially loved her room. Our room was also very romantic. Bathroom is modern and brand new.
Check-in/Staff
Entrance and check-in is automatic, very easy and hassle-free. The hosts are always reachable and answer via phone/Whatsapp immediately in case of questions. Easy communication in English.
Price/Performance Ratio
Impressive. Everything was better than other hotels in Venice that we paid double the price.
Extras
Lots to eat and drink. Complimentary coffee, croissants, crackers, water, orange juice etc.
Downside
The only downside was having to carry the luggage two floors, but I guess that’s common in Venice.
JJianrongThis is the third hotel we booked🏨. The location is excellent and the conditions are good, especially the price is cheap. The entrance tax is 3 euros. Although it seems like a B&B with a very rich breakfast, it seems like a five-star hotel, so it should be rated five stars. The room is large, the shower room is large, especially considering the bathroom for customers𠕇The small Dengzi is so good haha. The room is equipped with free mineral water for users to take medicine💊 and drink water. Intimate service. I will stay in this hotel again next time🏨, more than 40 euros a day for ten days, which is only 400 euros💶. Super cost-effective and very popular👌
AAnonymous UserThe bed & breakfast, the room, and the service all are top-notch.
BUT the location really is NOT the best especially if you’re traveling alone: 20+ minutes from old town by walking, didn’t feel safe to do the walk alone at night (even in the daylight I switched to the other side of the pedestrian walk to avoid crowds that made me feel uncomfortable). On Sunday, not many places opened for breakfast. If I’d visit Verona again, I’d stay in the old town.
BBrazziSmall room and in a lofty undertouch for a night is well, a bad common point, cleaning ok but it could be a little more ordered.
Gentle and available management
GGuest UserVery clean place and the I enjoyed the daily breakfast they served each morning. The host went above and beyond when I called him after-hours to help me find a wine bottle opener, I appreciate that.
Some minor drawbacks: Our room was close to the common area and the sound isolation wasn't great. We could hear conversations being had outside, so we had to be mindful about privacy.
Also, I didn't know this when I booked the tickets, but apparently Mestre city is kind of a shady area overall. Luckily this place is only 100m from the bus stop where buses can take you straight to Venice, so you don't have to wander around the Mestre streets at night more than you would like.
Overall I had an awesome time though :)
NNagasakiIt will be an inn where the evaluation is divided depending on the person. Since the apartment is rented in three separate rooms, the kitchen, toilet, and terrace are shared, so it was convenient to use it as we wanted during the time when there were not many people. There is no washing machine, but there is a drying area. The sheets and towels are clean, but you shouldn't expect fixed under the bed or under the sink. I think it depends on the time and the members staying.
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is very good, on the main island of Venice, it takes a while to get off the train station. The hotel is quiet, open the door from the street, there is a large internal space, there is a small yard, you can sit here, read a book and read a computer is very convenient. However, I didn’t pay attention to this when I booked. This is a homestay and not a hotel. There is actually no service here. No one cleans for a few days, but the room is very small and there is really not much to clean, but the most inconvenient thing is that there is almost no place to put things in the room. The practicality is very poor, there is a small table, it is full of things, it is very crowded, and the two boxes are not easy to find a good location to open. Check-in and check-out here are self-occupied. The rooms on the island look like there are no screens. It is too stuffy without opening the windows. There are many mosquitoes that are very poisonous. The room is equipped with electric mosquito coils, but the taste is really awkward. I pulled out the electric mosquito coil and chose to open the window for a short time.
