Have stayed here several times, love the place, about 6 minutes walk to train station (buses closer) showers work fine but doors (shower) etc need a little maintenance .

The room was nice and clean. Basic. Price was decent for a quick one night stay so I could run off to the airport at 4am the next morning. Room is very basic. But decent quality bedding for sure.

Close to the airport, easy to find. Had no trouble with train noises once asleep. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. On the negative and really not that big a deal is that the undercover parking is limited and spaces not very big. Also Watch the bottom step in the dark. Miss stepped going down at 4.30am as I didn't see the bottom step and landed on my knees. Could do with a bit more lighting at the bottom of the stair.

We chose this hotel because it was one of the most inexpensive hotels near the reef terminal and close to other attractions in Cairns. It was a 30 minute walk to the Reef Terminal and 40 minutes to the Botanical Garden. It also has a good selection of restaurants nearby and is a short walk to Rusty's Market and quite a few shops. The area is very quiet and the bed was comfy enough. The room has a good wall unit which we stored all of our bags in and kept our stuff accessible with some shelves. There is a limited number of plug-ins in the room with two on the desk under the TV and a power bar was underneath the bed. A travel power adapter was used to keep our devices charged. The wifi was weak when we stayed and we felt the shower curtain and lip didn't do a great job keeping the water contained because the floor and bath mat got soaked each time we showered - you could aim the shower head at the wall and angle your body just so but it was tricky to have a good shower here. We did appreciate all the toiletries available in the wall mounted units including hand wash, shaving cream, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The towels were also very soft but never dried out so we had to ask to have them changed on our second day here because the bathroom smelled very damp due to the wetness. The front desk staff were very kind but they did not have it manned after hours so there are late night check in instructions provided. They also can help arrange and book tours while you are in Cairns. The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast which included bread, a toaster, a pancake machine, cereals, juices, coffee, milk and water. The highlight of the breakfast was the pancake machine and the giant jar of Nutella with a pump attached. You could order a hot breakfast for a little bit more and it was fairly priced for things like sausage, bacon and eggs. The hotel also has a bar area (open 3-7), heat and eat meals, a vending machine, pool and laundry facilities. There is a microwave available in the bar area and kettles are available in the rooms for hot water. The laundry machines are commercial and quick - it cost 4 AUD to wash and the same price to dry and our laundry was done within 1 hour and 10 minutes. The laundry room also has an iron and ironing board. The hotel had a good amount of parking and it is about a 10 minute drive from the airport. We felt everything was very convenient during our stay and would recommend it if you are planning to save on a hotel and spend on excursions!

The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Self-service check-in is a bit unexpected but acceptable. However, the overall design of the hotel is not very friendly to guests with luggage. Choose carefully if you have heavy or large luggage. It is not convenient to store luggage after check-out. It should be only suitable for self-driving travel, or guests who don’t have much luggage, fall asleep when they arrive at the hotel, and leave when they get up in the morning. In fact, motel is more suitable

This is the best value for money motel in Rocky. The staff can not do enough to please. A little out of the main central area but near the river walks and pool complex. Crisp linen on the beds and a clean bathroom. I would go back again.

This is located in Mermaid Cafe. I came to Gold Coast to attend a conference and stayed in Broadbeach area. I had a early morning flight from Gold Coast and wanted to spend the last night a little more nearer to airport. But found this place cozy and near to another beach. It was conveniently located near Tamborine Street bus stop from where you can take Bust # 777 to reach airport. Restaurants with seafood and other options are very near. Mermaid beach is also easily accessible from Camden Motor Inn. Reception was very helpful and check-in was smooth. She also printed my flight boarding pass upon my request. It seemed the facilities are not so good as they hanged the message that their pool was not heated and laundry was out of order. But when I got into my room, I found it was quite good. Spacios bedroom, comfortable and clean bed, nicely arranged kitchen made a very good impression to me. The stay was nice and well worth the price I paid for.

Very good, the back door is the beach pool. I called the boss at two o'clock in the afternoon to tell us that we arrived at six o'clock. He said that he hanged the phone, then sent a text message to me, telling me that the password was taken from the box, and after that. Take the envelope, inside is the precautions and room key, half self-service bar is, this place is relatively small, not far from a pizza shop is particularly delicious, highly recommended

I've stayed here a few times before as its convenient location to where im going. I usually stay for 12-14hrs as its an overnight stay between transit, so I've never used any facilities. The rooms are always clean & usually quiet if people are considerate & not being noisy.

Rocklea international motel is fantastic place to stay, it's very clean and the ac is very cold. The most important thing are the staff, the service is amazing, they are very friendly and helpful.

A nice place to stay. A good large open room. Beds are comfortable. Unit is self contained with Microwave, Toaster, Jug, Crockery and Cutlery. Unit was clean and you could open windows for fresh air and a glass door leading to a patio which was a bonus.Ryan in Reception was very friendly helpful and eager to help with anything. There is a carpark at the back of the Motel and it is close to the RBH hospital. In the morning we had these beautiful parrots 🦜 coming to say hello sitting on our patio.

Very clean, excellent coffee facilities and lovely staff. On entering the hotel through a locked door we felt uncomfortable. There were rules after rules and then only 1 key handed to us. We didn’t ask for another so we don’t know if there would because charge. The cafe on the premises is open every day except Saturday and we were there on a Saturday. $20 taxi to Southbank or a 30 minute walk. It was a very basic overpriced room.

The location is closed to Brisbane Airport. Is our 2nd time staying here. Room is very spacious and clean. Will surely back again.

Booked this hotel for the next morning flight, surrounded by residential areas, so quiet; about 15 minutes drive from Brisbane Airport. Ice water was delivered to the front desk at check-in. Room facilities are good. There is a smoking balcony in the hallway.

The room was very clean and the bed in the standard room was two single beds of about 90 cm. The hotel may be an old couple. The people are very kind and kind. I booked the accommodation there because I was two big and two small on the second day of the plane. The hostess took me to the room and told me that the bed might not sleep, but if I don’t mind, she also allows me to stay. And told me that there were extra blankets and pillows that allowed us to sleep on the carpet. We left the hotel at 3:30 in the morning, so just a few people would be one night. Daddy sleeps on the carpet, but it is very comfortable and there is nothing bad. Thank you very much for the warm reception of the store. I was afraid we didn't have enough water to provide us with drinking water and sent me chocolate. Thank you very much.

Although the facilities are old, they are clean and clean, and there is a pool with BBQ. The front desk was friendly and check-in was quick, there were refrigerators, microwaves and all kinds of dishes and cups.
