Bale Sasak Bungalow

Me & my boyfriend just came for breakfast here as the prices are super reasonable & we were so well looked after. The staff were lovely & so friendly & catered to our every need. We both had scrambled eggs on toast which also has some veg mixed in which is a nice touch & we ordered a tea with milk which were so yummy (which is hard to come by in Indonesia!) The tea was 10k & the scrambled eggs was 30k so it was amazing value. Recommend this spot for breakfast when in Gili T!

Mangsit
A wonderful restful 2 night stay at this quaint hotel. The room was very clean with a very comfy king size bed and good pillows. It has a bar fridge which was very handy and also a kettle for tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi was good and easy to connect. The bathroom was clean with reasonable water pressure and hot water was reliable. Towels were clean and fresh. Swimming pool is large and great to refresh and do laps. Staff were incredibly attentive and were are standby for any requests. The cafe served really good food. Beach is across the road and great for sunset. Only thing this hotel needs is a bit more colour other wise a great stay. All in all good value for money. Thank you to all staff and management I will be back 🙏
Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp
4.4/520 Reviews
I think there are few places to be discovered these days where you can experience authenticity in its pure state - here at Beloam, you are truly in Lombok. Not an altered tourist-friendly Lombok but a raw, beautiful, unmodernised spot. Beloam Beach camp provides you with the luxuries you need in order to sleep, wash and eat well - it is really beautifully done - the beds and style of the beach houses are impeccable. There is zero noise apart from the sound of the ocean - there is zero light pollution; the stars are insane. There is limited access to WIFI and the generator provides electricity at certain periods of the day. The hot water is questionable but ample. The staff are pure joy - attentive and proud, smiley and sweet - they literally will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food options are great if you are happy with spicy and local - this place is not really designed for children and therefore the menu can be a little difficult for a longer stay if you have fussy eaters. Eggs/pancakes/white bread are available but this can be a bit boring after 5 days of breakfast, lunch and dinner. There really is no alternative eating spot within an hour (by motorbike) of the camp. I would suggest that 4 nights is long enough here - we were so excited to explore the local area but it is so remote that I think you can do all you are capable of doing in 3 whole days before you would have to sleep in a different spot. We saw bat cave, Japanese cannon, watched sunrise from the view point, snorkelled on pristine undamaged corals, trekked to look-out points, discovered totally isolated and ruggedly raw white-sand beaches and made a lot of meaningful connections with locals who were friendly and curious about us - it is a quiet and deeply traditional muslim community - the sight of westerners in their bikinis was clearly a spectacle for some of the villagers and the local children where fascinated by our kids. I did feel self-conscious at times of my i-phone and jewellery, my pink bikini and holiday nails (!) but not in an unsafe way - more in the respect that this is not for 'holiday' makers but more for 'travellers'. If you go with that in mind, I think I would have made a few different choices in my wardrobe and my accessories. A long-sleeved top for bathing in the water for example when with locals on the beach. As part of a trip with many different stops including instagrammable places in Bali - I had not necessarily prepared for this more authentic part of our trip. It turns out that this was the most magical in so many ways. I cried when we left. I really felt like this was a unique spot and so undiscovered for 2023. I hope the readers of this review will take this on board - and not try to alter this authentic place. Bon voyage!
Casa Kapuas
4.7/57 Reviews
📍Address: Casa Kapuas, Gili Trawangan 🚗 Accessibility to transportation: 15 minute walk from the beach front. 10 minute cycle. 🤿 Activities in the area: Diving, cycling, horse riding, kayaking. 🌟 Rating: 6/10 💞Reasons to Recommend: The hotel was away from the busy beach front and noise, situated in a quiet remote location. The hotel has cheap laundry services available. The hotel allows you access to the main fridge to store your own drinks and food. There is free tea and coffee available. 💡 Think about: The location is very remote, next to a farm. Often the farms burn wood and make bonfires and the rooms often smell like bonfire. The hotel offers one choice of fruit, omelette or toast for breakfast. Very small rooms with no safe. The hammocks haven’t been cleaned and some are mouldy. The bathroom is located outside, therefore if you do not like the outdoors, this hotel might not be for you.
Rinjani Lodge

The scenery is superb. It was already at night, and I was going to climb the mountain the next day, so I didn’t see the hotel during the day. But the hotel at night is very beautiful! Unfortunately, the sanitation is generally the same, the facilities are very old, and the airport is coming for three hours.
Kura Kura Resort Gili Meno
4.2/526 Reviews
This is a cheap hotel so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, however, this hotel fell way below standard. The pictures of the hotel on Trip are not accurate- in fact I can see one of the pictures is an AI render and is in no way representative of the actual hotel. The room is damp and dingy, not clean at all and the walls are crumbling. I had booked 3 nights and left after 2 as I really couldn’t stay here. It’s a shame because the staff here are amazing; very kind and attentive, genuinely interested in talking to me and helpful with suggesting what to do on the island. They seemed sad when I left early but o really needed to get out. The location is good, 5 mins walk from the port and they have a beach front restaurant. The food was average, but that was consistent across all the restaurants I tried on Gili Meno.
Gili Smile Bungalow

The location was great just right next to the beach and the size of the room is super. Also I really liked the bathroom because it was natural decor. However the things in the room were quite old and dirty (definitely it was cleaned but due to several use it had spots and also the curtains would need a wash) The breakfast is served on the beach and under your feet is the sand which was super great. The juice the best for the breakfast but about the selection of breakfast is suoer poor. You can chose tea or coffee or juice. You cant have juice with coffee…. And the meal also toast or something else, but as I have allergic problems I got some slices of fruits. It was nice but of course soon needed a second breakfast :)
Wilson's Retreat

One of the best hotels we’ve been to! We we’re very well received, and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good and so was the overall menu. The rooms we’re amazing, really big and spacious and we really enjoyed the outdoor bathrooms. Location was good, far from the busy and crowded center area but close enough by bike (10-15min), and you can rent them there. Rentals and bookings are a bit more pricey at the hotel, but definitely reliable and guaranteed! Swimming pool was great, and points for the front beach view! The owner of the hotel was also really friendly and helpful. Overall really good, and we can’t wait to go back!

This is a massive improvement from where I was staying elsewhere on Gili T. The Aircon and swimming pool are lovely. The breakfast is a limited choice of pancake or eggs with toast. You get what you pay for but I think in this instance it's mostly high quality. They even had a lonely planet to read.
Rinjani Garden Syariah by Ecommerceloka
4.7/53 Reviews
Nice secluded location away from the busy road. If arriving by car, one needs to park at adjacent Lembah Rinjani. Wifi did not work. Even if it did, could only access it by going to Lembah Rinjani as well. Likewise, breakfast was also served at the cafe at Lembah Rinjani. Pretty odd arrangement overall. Room was comfy albeit small. Hot shower worked reasonably well. Breakfast was pretty basic. Overall for above Rp300.000 room, was expecting a bit more. Beautiful gardens and view of Mt Rinjani from the resort itself.
