GGuest UserThe Inn title was a little misleading as it was basically a bed for the night. It was just a room and the inn had no food service at all. There were only pubs nearby, rather than a café for breakfast the next morning. It was on a main road with very busy traffic outside, although there was a small car park in front. Street parking was very restricted due to yellow lines and parking permit areas. However, Abi, the receptionist was very polite and extremely accommodating. He explained everything clearly and did his best to ensure that we were comfortable with our room.

LLornaEnsuite room was adequate, with kettle & coffee etc, also a fan which was great as very warm. Kitchen available with microwave and washing machine. Digital lock on door a puzzle, took several attempts to open. Front door lock broken. Shower cubicle has several areas of no grout. Room and general areas could do with a touch up paint.

DDeejayrosI been here probably 15 times. This place it’s just amazing, every time I come to visit New Forest I book The Retreat New Forest for my staying with my dogs! There it’s pet friendly and no charge for dogs (that’s fantastic) a big bonus for me so why I come here many time! The room it’s clean, very comfy and relaxing! I recommend if you’re coming around New Forest with your furry friends, don’t hesitate to stay there!

GGuest UserCharming little B&B in nice house. Continental breakfast only, no great variety but good. Rooms were nice and clean. It's in a residential area, 15-20 minutes walk to shops, restaurants etc.
