LLorena Viera RodríguezThe hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. They clean every two days but always ask you if you need to change towels or re-switch the water or the shampoo.The decoration is very nice and simple, with modern pictures and new furniture. The breakfast is included with a nice dining room with sea views as well as with a very comfortable staff, which is still pending to make you comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
GGuest UserThe outside of the hotel is very scruffy, but this is because it is in the process of being refurbished. The rooms themselves were excellent, clean , modern (although the see through toilet door is a bit kinky in room 4.)
Although being warned of the step inside the passageway to room 4 my wife tripped up it and the light needs improving or warning tape put on the step.
We had to bring the date forward of our visit due to the impending death of a near relative and was very disappointed in having to pay a surcharge of £48.00 per room for the convenience of doing this although we believe the hotel did not have any reservations for these rooms, so could have waived the surcharge.
We did not have occasion to eat at the hotel excepting for breakfast which was excellent.
GGuest UserThe staff is amazing from a to z, also bed linens and towels are clean like new. The mattress was very comfortable and good quality. The breakfast was very basic English with filtered coffee. But the building is almost falling apart which is a shame. It takes 15-20 minutes in bus A5 or 5 for £3 one way, which is quite handy. The free parking is fairly good and also handy. The cost for a double room was £175 and I believe that was way higher than it should. All I’m saying is that if I would have known, I could get a much nicer hotel for that amount.
TTravelogue1926If you're looking for a beachfront location with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, this is the place for you. Our room was on the 5th floor, so be ready for narrow stairs and no elevator if you have heavy luggage. We visited during warm weather and were surprised to find no AC or fan, which is essential for us as Asians. It was our oversight for not checking beforehand. Otherwise, the room was good, and the place was secure for our belongings.
SsarahIt was a beautiful stay at Alexander. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of sea. Service was good.It was hot week when we visited, and there's no AC in room ,just had a little fan, and we had to open windows wide open that made a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was not on point, so don't include breakfast if you plan to visit. Near by so many other shops ,market and beach is on walking distance. It was all together nuce trip.

The single ground floor room was room clean, quiet, and had a comfy bed. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast on offer, which was stated on the booking platform, but I found an adequate alternative locally.
I would visit again when I'm on holiday in the Brighton area next time.
GGuest UserAbsolutely outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Jayne and Colin are the most convivial hosts and their dogs Harvey and Guineas are adorable. The home cooked food is amazing and the portions are very filling and the local Longman beer is very drinkable . This was our second visit and we will certainly return.
DDanielleThis was a really lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and only a few minutes walk from the beach. I was staying alone and felt very safe in the area. The road was quiet but the windows were soundproofed well anyway; I couldn't even hear cars pass outside! Thank you, I'll definitely stay here again.

Only negatives: 1) the heating didn't turn on and the room was a bit cold (it was too late at night to ask someone about it), 2) the shower wasn't the best - couldn't keep a stable temperature. That said, I'd definitely stay again and can gladly recommend.
