My parents and I came for a trip, aiming to truly soak in the ambiance of the ancient town, so we booked a guesthouse in Wuzhen, specifically a riverside room. Wanting to stay close to my parents, the 'blind' room allocation turned out to be a pleasant surprise: I got a riverside single room on the second floor of Guesthouse No. 18, and my parents were right next door on the first floor of Guesthouse No. 19. From my window, the river flowed clear, and traditional sculling boats gently swayed as they passed. I'd occasionally watch tourists across the river capturing moments. The Jiangnan charm was absolutely captivating! The guesthouse host was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. A special shout-out goes to Wuzhen's luggage transfer service; they transported our bags via the waterways, and our suitcases were handled with exceptional care. Staying in Wuzhen, we relished the tranquility after the evening visitors had left and the refreshing peace before 9 AM. We also got a close-up look at the local morning tea culture, visited Wuzhen's morning market, and then returned to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by the guesthouse right by the water – it was absolutely delightful! We also took a sculling boat ride both in the evening and in the morning. The price was very reasonable, and each ride lasted about 25 leisurely minutes – absolutely worth it! It had been ten years since my last visit, and the changes over this decade truly impressed and delighted me. I'm already looking forward to my third trip to Wuzhen!

The hotel is well-located, and the service was decent. However, we noticed some black marks on the walls, and there was a fly in the room when we checked in. These issues slightly detracted from our overall experience. On a positive note, my child loved the bathtub, and we enjoyed the view of mountains and a pagoda right across. I hope the rooms will be more thoroughly inspected before the next guest's arrival.

The manager Xiao Zhang is a very knowledgeable and friendly lady. She is very thoughtful to give us recommendation on our schedule to enjoy Wuzhen. When to avoid crowd, when to come back to the room to rest, etc. She was very helpful and strong. She took initiative to carry 20+kg luggage (we travelled for more than a week + shopping) up 2 flights of steps without issue and without us asking for help. She remembers all the guests’ details. Always checking on everyone to make sure all of us enjoy Wuzhen. Omotenashi 👍👍 this homestay has very beautiful and relaxing tea rooms to enjoy tea set. Their breakfast is yummy, filling and beautiful. Rooms are spacious with zen deco. I love the tatami beds. Location is just at the doorstep of Xi gate side entrance. Convenient stores and eateries right outside the homestay. I highly recommend all readers to stay here for 1-2 nights. I definitely will stay here again. Lastly, to my hotelier friends, go and recruit Xiao Zhang. She is a gem. She will take of your guests as they are hers.

The homestay is very beautiful and comfortable. I live too happily. I really like the wooden table in the lobby on the first floor. Every night, I chat with my friends there. There are many slaughterers on the island. I have this homestay to comfort our injured hearts. It is actually the best food in the homestay! Refreshing and clean, the aunt is very enthusiastic, the boss sister is super good, and I have been busy before and after helping us to see the ferry tickets, book the car, and help pick up things. I really recommend everyone to stay, come back next time, stay next time ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely accomodation. The overall service was warm and friendly. The eggplant parmesan was my favorite dish as well as fresh juice. The room looked just like the pictures. They do seem to need a bit more staff to cook and serve when the dining area gets busy. Pre-ordering meals doesn't necessarily mean that all food will be ready at once. Our friends had about 40 minutes wait between dishes. Also, the first morning, breakfast was served beuatifully. The second morning, we had to inquire about different parts of our breakfast since it was not all served at once. Overall, very kind service with a smile. The welcome fruit was a nice touch.

The B&B is located in the middle of Nanxun Ancient Town. Coming in from the south gate, you can visit Xiaolianzhuang, Zhang Shiming's former residence, and Liu's Ladder. You can just check in, take a rest, and then continue to visit the next few attractions. The B&B was newly opened not long ago, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary, comfortable beds, good service from the owner, and delicious breakfast. The ancient town is very interesting and worth staying and strolling around.

The room is clean and tidy, and there are a lot of green plants in the yard, which is very comfortable. The landlord is also very enthusiastic, suitable for a short stay. I will come again if I have the chance

I booked this B&B after reading online recommendations. It felt good to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. The overall decoration of the B&B has a sense of design. The interior decoration style is elegant and generous. The wooden furniture, lamps and other decorations in the room are in harmony with the interior decoration style. The sanitary ware is ROCA, and the washing supplies are L'Occitane, both of which are my personal favorite brands. The most important thing is that the room is clean and hygienic, the breakfast tastes good and the presentation is exquisite. Then there are the housekeepers who are serious and responsible, enthusiastic, polite and very measured. Thanks to the housekeeper for upgrading to the Loft Mountain View Room, which made our family of three's stay more comfortable, and also gave us tea from our own tea garden as a souvenir.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m already planning to return in October. What I love most about this place is its stunning location — nestled against the mountains and surrounded by peaceful bamboo forests. The view is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a spring water bath, swimming pool, tea lounge, and a cozy restaurant serving delicious meals. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing weekend — a true escape into nature and tranquility.

I absolutely loved this pet-friendly guesthouse in Hangzhou, located in Yuhu Bay, West Lake. The entire area consists of charming three-story buildings, offering a tranquil and off-the-beaten-path experience with minimal traffic and tourists. Within a few minutes' walk from the guesthouse, you can reach Yuhu Bay, the Wuzhuangyuan Archway, and Xuefang Maolu. Strolling along the lakeside, surrounded by lush greenery, is incredibly refreshing. Su Causeway and Leifeng Pagoda are also just a 20-minute walk away. Starting early for a bike ride around West Lake in the cool morning air is truly invigorating.🚲 Parking is available right outside the guesthouse. We booked a third-floor balcony room, which our whole family, including our dog and cat, absolutely adored! ฅ(̳•◡•̳)ฅ The balcony was perfect for enjoying tea, catching the breeze morning and evening, and watching the blue sky and white clouds.☁️ It was also very convenient for washing and drying clothes. The guesthouse offers a delicious breakfast that changes daily. The preserved greens with shredded bamboo shoots were particularly good, and a morning coffee made it even more satisfying.☕️ We also bought fresh lotus seeds, plums, and peaches from the fruit vendors outside the guesthouse. If you visit this season, I highly recommend the Yangshan honey peaches – they are incredibly delicious! I'll definitely come back to stay here again when the autumn leaves turn red! 🍁🤗
