Homestays in Zhejiang, China

We’re doing a road trip from Hangzhou to Wuzhen then to Shanghai for recently and I must admitted staying at Wuzhen Homestay was our best decision. We only for a night but from checking in to checking out Homestay Staff was extremely helpful and friendliness that I have ever encountered. There’s a language barrier yet it didn’t stopped us from communicating. We booked a family which resided at the very end of Wuzhen Xizha (79A) but believe me it’s worth the walk. One could take a shuttle but we opted to stroll the main Xizha Street. Pending on your taste of food, breakfast from Xizha Homestay was one of the best we had. Very flavor full and size was more than I would imagine. Luggages were transferred from and to front desk for us. While we were checking out, the staff was helping to carry our heavy luggage down the staircase. We offered a gratitude but the staff declined. After several attempts, the staff finally accepted. Overall, I highly recommend Wuzhen Homestay for those whose want to stay in Wuzhen Xizha. We definitely will comeback and stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy and the surrounding former residences, and it takes more than ten minutes to get to Cangqiao Zhijie Street! The room space is compact, and my room has a spacious washroom. The service is very good! Before checking in, we will confirm whether we need a parking space, and we can also ask if we can check in early. The feeling is very detailed and warm. The hotel is in a residential area, surrounded by old neighborhoods, and it is very quiet at night. Not far away is Joy City and other businesses, and it is very convenient to eat and take out. Finally, I experienced the breakfast here, each person has a local specialty, rich in variety, light and refreshing! One serving is enough to fill you up haha

The room is generally good and clean. It is also a new decoration on the old building. You can see that the store owner is very attentive. The store owner will take the initiative to contact you before you go. You can get discounts when buying tickets. You must buy tickets to enter this scenic spot, so it is better to ask the B&B owner to help you save trouble. The floor of the room I stayed in was a little subsided, but it did not affect my view of the balcony. You can go out if you want during different time periods in the scenic area. Maybe the cost performance is not very high to some extent, but if you have fun out, you can't buy it no matter how much money you spend, so you can make choices according to your needs. The store's other riverside rooms are also good, and the price is cheaper. Just choose according to your needs.

The room is spacious enough, facing the river, the environment is great, and it fulfilled my dream of experiencing the Jiangnan water town. The boss is friendly. We stayed with Typhoon Bebejia, and the boss upgraded the room and refunded the room fee that was deducted due to the wrong application of the system. I will stay here again next time I have the opportunity, and I will recommend it to others. Thank you, boss.

The homestay is located in the Xitang Ancient Town Scenic Area. The environment is quiet. There is a small courtyard downstairs with a rocking chair for a rest. The peach blossoms are in full bloom, making people feel the tranquility of the water town. The room has a solid wood bed, wooden ceiling beams, a high cost-effective room, and a bathroom with dry and wet separation, which is suitable for family stay.

It is very nice and clean! “ah yi” (the host) was very friendly and quick to recommend actual nice local restaurants and spots for us to visit! The stay was great, cozy and we really felt like home! Would definitely come again! P.s. just to note if u have bad knees prepare yourself to climb stairs here hahaha🥹overall for us it was one of our best stays!

The lady at the front desk was very considerate. She helped us upgrade the room, helped us move our luggage, and told us the travel guide in detail. The restaurant she recommended was really delicious. I will stay here again next time. The most considerate thing was that she let the children go to the baby park next door for free. The children were very happy 👍👍

We had a great stay here! Loved the tatami-style room — simple, clean, and very cozy. Breakfast was amazing. The hostess was really friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Near to Wuzhen West Scenic entrance.

Due to the hotel our trip was amazing!!! The room is clean and cosy, there are hairdryer, air conditioner, disposable towels, shampoos and toothbrushes – everything needed. Moreover, owners of the guest house suggested breakfast and tea in the evening🥹 They also helped us to rent a bike for a whole day, so we traveled around with much more comfort than expected. The terrace is beyond beautiful, in the night it’s great to sit there. All in all, thanks for the service, atmosphere, support and kindness! We chose this B&B by chance. The first time we entered it, it felt like home and had a warm feeling. The first feeling when entering the room is that it is very clean and tidy. We drove ourselves and it was very convenient to park the car at the door of the B&B. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the ancient town. The location of the B&B is superb. The boss is very enthusiastic. The service was great. The B&B facilities are super good, including a smart toilet. The bedding is super clean. What's especially good is that the mattress is very soft and comfortable, and I fell asleep peacefully in a short while. I like it very much. Next time I come to Nanxun, I will choose this warm B&B.
