I liked very much staying in this gestahous. There were two pairs here from March 3 to March 10, 2019. The table with chairs on the terrace is available for evening meals. The rooms are small but both are quite comfortable. Cleaning on request. The sea road is 10 minutes along the field, cafes and other gestahouses. Hot water shower, air conditioner, clean bed, delicious breakfasts in the morning, friendly staff are what we have been waiting and getting from Tokman Inn. Couler with cold water and boiler is a great bonus. Taxi-minivan ordered for recess to Skybridge and the pier was cheaper than on the street. On Thursdays next to the hotel a delicious night market. All girls on recess are sincerely willing to help in everything. The hostess of Nisa is the charm itself, responsiveness and kindness. We liked everything, we want to come back here again.

Me and my friends had a last minute plan to Langkawi, one of of my friend suggested that we stay here for a night. However all of us underestimated the accommodations first, upon arriving we were greeted with an awesome hospitality by the Malay receptionist who can speak fluent English. We were then showed to our room and were astonished to see how comfortable and pleasant was the room and we had to extend for another night. We also had our food in the restaurant which serves awesome breakfast and dinner without us having to move around to find for food. Finally, the other guest that has been staying there together with the owner has been very friendly and accommodating on all our basic needs. Cheers to the staff in Cactus Inn and restaurant for making our stay a pleasant one and we will definitely return there once again and promote about it to those who wants to come to Langkawi to stay here.

Hostel is cozy, spacious and clean. Restaurants and duty free stores are nearby. Stable WiFi and strong air-con. Good place to meet other travelers and chill. Hosts are super friendly. They will show you around and even cook for you! Shouldn't miss this if you would like to have a cheerful holiday in Langkawi!
38PC Boutique Hotel

We booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you👍🏻

The motel is the cleanest I have been to, and located in a quiet part of the area (even though there is a lot of small guesthouses nearby). The room is cheap, and there is a good parking area. No extra lock on the door though. They also have the cleanest towel for a small motel!!!
Motel Seri Mutiara

Use waze and give full attention to the road entrance bacause it just a small village road. Maybe they should put signage next to the main road like the other motel did. The place has parking space, the reception were helpful. Its a two storey of motel. The room and surrounding were clean. No mini Market within walking distance but there is fridge selling mineral water and soda provided by the motel. The room were clean, small just nice for 2 persons. The provide only soap so bring your own toiletries. There are air conditioner and water heater. Great location near royal yacht cruise and kuah shopping town.

BB Motel

Good location behind the large shipping mall Aman Central and Alor Setar Tower The check in was smooth even very late at night. BB Motel is colocated with Bee Gladden Hotel. You check in at Bee Garden. BB Motel is a wing consisting of rooms with shared toilet. The room was basic. A/C works ok. Wifi signal was weak inside my room. The traffic noise was not so bad after the shipping mall was closed. Overall, I recommend this place.

Kuah Town
Don't be fooled by the 4.5 rating, because I certainly was! The only thing this hotel offers is big rooms! And not much else! The location is a big disadvantage, because all the main attractions are far away. You would either have to get a taxi every time, or rent a car or scooter. Car is better because of the distances, but it's more expensive. We were very happy that the hotel offers scooter rentals. However, sometimes the scooters are all in use, so then you're stuck. We were only able to get a scooter from our second day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Back to the rooms - they had white lighting, which is a bit tasteless and makes it a bit too casual. You can fix that with the bedside lamps, though. The rooms also have mini fridges, which is always a plus point. My main issue was the bathroom; the placement / height of the wash basin, with the tiny shelf directly on top of the faucet - barely giving any space in between - was VERY uncomfortable to use. There is a normal way in which things are meant to be positioned, but this was completely absurd. The toilet and shower were all *one* area, albeit big. No boundaries, no borders, no cut-off point separating the two. So when you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet - and stays that way. I wouldn't have minded, had they provided wipers. The toilet paper was not great quality, and its holder was worse - when trying to put the roll in, it broke in the first instance. The toilet seat was slightly flimsy. The shower pressure was good, but the water not as hot as desired - despite keeping the geyser on the whole time. There was no proper space to keep things like shampoo. Breakfast: They have the shortest breakfast timings I've seen at any hotel 😂, namely 8am-10am (two hours). It is served inside the room. They give us a choice from four local items (from which we have to choose *one* for each day), plus toast & butter/jam, plus tea or coffee. We have to make the tea/coffee ourselves with the kettle in our room. They already apply the butter/jam on the toast for you, which is good for lazy people like me. And it was quite tasty! The local items were okay; it varies from palate to palate, whether one would like them or not. I liked three out of four, though they were quite oily. All that said, it was THE most basic breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. It only works as a preventive measure from going crazy with hunger right when you get up in the morning 😂 Speaking of food - because of the location of the place, there are no restaurants you can get to by foot (as far as I know), and even GrabFood Delivery had very limited options (we survived on ordering McDonalds for lunch). One good thing was that, unlike other hotels, there was a water dispenser in the lobby, free to use whenever we wanted. Hence, we never ran out of water. Much appreciated, since there was no grocery store we knew of in close vicinity! In the end, I would highly disagree with t
