Pro Tips

Artbox Singapore 2026

If you want to enjoy ARTBOX without stress, here are some simple tips based on real experience:

Arrive before sunset for better photos

The lighting is nicer during golden hour, and it’s less crowded. You can walk around more easily and take photos without waiting too long.

Prepare cashless payment

Most stalls use PayNow, cards, or e-wallets. It’s faster and you won’t need to worry about having exact cash.

Wear light and comfortable clothes

Even indoors, it can feel warm and packed at night. Go for something breathable and wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking a lot.

Go on weekdays if possible

Friday or earlier time slots are better. Weekend nights can get really crowded with long lines for food and photo spots.

Come hungry and share food

There are so many food options, so it’s better to share with friends. You get to try more and it feels more fun that way.

Our experience at the new coast hotel: The staff was super friendly and helpful The room was clean. House keeping provided the supplies on time. The breakfest was good with a range of foods to select And it is near the bay area, which has the ocean park Check in and out was quick Dislikes The construction woke me up and didn't let me sleep The view from my room was a construction site picture attached Every time we entered, we were searched and walked through a scanner I hope this review helps. All in all, we have a pleasant stay at the hotel. I hope the renovation are over soon.

We stayed at The Manila Hotel as a couple with one infant and had a very positive experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the facilities felt grand and culturally rich rather than modern, and the location is central, great for nearby parks but challenging due to Manila traffic. The highlight was the breakfast, which was outstanding and easily the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had.

The hotel is great! Even though it's an older property, the facilities are still very good, and the breakfast spread is excellent. It's located right next to Koreatown, and you just have to cross the street to get to Manila Bay – it's the perfect spot for stunning sunset photos. The lobby staff are also incredibly welcoming.

This is my 14th stay in Manila Prince Hotel and the good vibes continue growing. This stay showed me how hands on their Head Chef Bobby Monsod and FB Mgr Ms Bambi thats why buffet breakfast is super yummy. They have dedicated Sous Chef and waiters Jim, Bryan, Jomar and head in Reception Apple. I also commend housekeeping headed by Ms Mercy and cleaning staff Winnie and all trainees. I have convinced some friends to book at this hotel. Ps. They have a medical clinic 24 / 7 where you can ask medical assistance. MPH is my second home in Manila.

Affordable hotel at the heart of Manila Chinatown! If you want to experience Manila Chinatown, the world's oldest chinatown, then the Ramada is the best place to start. I took a Binondo Food crawl and decided to book a room so I can fully enjoy Binondo. The room was quite spacious, wide doors and hallways (good access for people on wheelchairs), and quiet. Surprisingly very quiet! Despite it's very central and busy location, I was able to sleep and rest quietly. Aside from the occasional church bell, you won't really hear much of the noise from downstairs. As yu step out of the hotel lobby, you will be welcomed by the hustle and bustle of Binondo. Food stalls and restaurants everywhere. It is a gastronomic adventure and a shopper's paradise. Just a few steps away from the long lines of foodies are bazaars and shops where you can find anything from clothes to jewelry to Chinese charms. At the top of the hotel is Mento, their in-house dining spot, their breakfast buffet is decent but nothing too exciting. You may skip this and go straight outside, you'll need your appetite to fully experience all the food choices available. Just be ready to fall in line for minutes, some really popula shops have lines that go for hours! Overall the hotel is nice, comfortable and quiet. It may feel a bit old, and could use some refurbishing, but I say that's part of the Binondo charm. Old city, rich in tradition, but feels quite like home.

Our stay at the hotel last week was truly pleasant, and we had a restful night's sleep throughout our visit. The room was spotlessly clean – we found no bed bugs, insects, or unpleasant odors of any kind. We were also pleased that our special request for a room near the elevator was accommodated. We would like to note a few points for future guests: the room did not have clothes hangers or a floor rag. Basic amenities provided included two bath towels and two toothbrush kits. Drinking water is available outside the rooms, so we recommend bringing a reusable water tumbler for convenience.

The family suite we booked was incredibly spacious and clean, giving us plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept soundly. The highlight for our children was definitely the indoor pool and kids' play area. It was a perfect way for them to burn off energy, and it was well-maintained. The location was also fantastic, being close to manila ocean park and luneta. The staff, particularly the front desk team, were so welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. For my stay in Manila, I chose the Red Planet Manila Bay, part of the well-known Red Planet chain. And I can say – it was the perfect decision! The hotel primarily impresses with its excellent location. It's within walking distance of the Old City, the historic heart of the capital. All the main attractions seem to be right on its doorstep, which is incredibly convenient for any explorer. My check-in was fast and very comfortable. I was greeted at the reception by a pleasant and attentive young woman. While check-in was officially at 2 PM, I was happily handed the keys to my room at 11 AM – completely free of charge! Such care and flexibility truly speak to their amazing service. An added bonus is the cozy cafe on the ground floor. The food is tasty, portions are decent, and the prices are very affordable. If you're looking for a reliable, clean, and strategically located hotel in Manila to comfortably spend the night and explore the city, I confidently recommend this option. Located in a very convenient community, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is great for quick snacks or drinks. You can easily call a Grab or a car service directly to the hotel. It's close to all the major tourist attractions. If you enjoy walking, you can explore everything on foot, including all the important historical sites in the Philippines. I really liked it here! The accommodation was quiet and peaceful, and I felt the price was good for the value. It was clean and comfortable, just what I'd expect from a hotel. What I liked most is that once you get your bearings, you realize it's close to all the main attractions. It's also not too far from the train station; you can take the train almost to the last stop and then walk about 1.5 kilometers to reach the airport.

I recently stayed at Manila Lotus Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience, especially with the convenient location and accommodating staff. However, I would like to share a few gentle suggestions that could further improve guest comfort. During my stay, I noticed that basic room amenities such as slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste were not readily available. Providing these complimentary consumables would make the stay more convenient and aligned with what many guests typically expect from a hotel. In addition, the Wi-Fi signal inside my room was quite weak and at times almost unavailable, which made it challenging to stay connected. Improving the internet connectivity in guest rooms would greatly enhance the overall experience, especially for guests who need reliable access for work or communication. With a few small enhancements in these areas, the hotel can make stays even more comfortable and satisfying for future guests.

Got in our room around 2:30 pm. They seem to be really strict with early check-in unlike most hotels where you can get free early check-in from 12-1 pm. Easy to past time since mall is very accessible. Location is superb. Perfect for Binondo foodtrip. Room is nice for its price, but bathroom shower area can use some improvement. Jacuzzi and sauna area smells and doesn’t seem to be regularly cleaned. Feels unsanitary so we didn’t bother using it even if we wanted to. Wish they had a swimming pool.

I had a great stay at Hotel Benilde. The location is very accessible, making it easy to get around the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself was super clean, which made my stay even more comfortable. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, which is why I decided not to avail of it. Instead, I opted to eat at KFC, which is conveniently located right next to the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Benilde for its excellent service, cleanliness, and prime location. Just keep in mind that if you’re looking for a wider breakfast selection, you might want to explore nearby options.

We stay there for 3 days. Our experience is good, because the room is clean and good air-condition. The place is very near to lrt station (Vito Cruz). Also near in Ninyo Aquino Stadium and Robinson's Manila. Highly recommend for those who seek for budget friendly hotel in manila.

Good location for nightlife. The view from the balcony is also good. Good thing, these two are the end. The interior of the building is very old because it is unmanaged. There are many Chinese people inside the building, so it is inconvenient to use the elevator. It's particularly annoying when I use it at mealtimes. Room condition is special. I used to buy toiletries personally. The bottom line .... I thought it would be better to stay at the hotel to add to this money.

Nice central place and close to the shopping mall. The room had a strong smell of damp and mould but I assume it’s normal for the humid climate

We managed to check into the room on the third try. The first room was smoky, the second with a loud old air conditioner, we agreed to the third, because we were very tired from the night flight, although we were not thrilled with it. For early check-in at 8 am, they asked for an extra charge of 500 pesos. The location of the hotel is good, everything is nearby. Filipino breakfasts, monotonous, according to the menu, but there is always rice and an egg in the dish, only the third ingredient changes. Coffee is included in the breakfast. No fruits. No vegetables either. Pros: the room has a kettle, a refrigerator and a microwave. We were shocked by the presence of a gap (about 20 cm) between neighboring rooms. This was discovered after checking into the neighboring room, when we could hear the TV, the child, etc. as in our room. Everything was covered with a curtain and was initially not visible. But otherwise, in general, a good hotel. It will do for 1-2 days.

I had a good stay at the hotel, the location is alright being atvthe center near the embassy, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The staff was very helpful and approachable, the rooms were decently clean, though not spotless, but nothing that detracted from the overall experience.

We checked in at this hotel for my sister’s board exam, and we definitely made the right choice by choosing Sun Star Grand Hotel. It's just a few steps away from Isetann, and even though the streets outside were loud and busy, the hotel itself was quiet, peaceful, and safe. The staff were very welcoming and respectful, always ready to attend to our inquiries and requests. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. My sister and I had a good night's sleep and felt well-rested throughout our stay.

If you are looking for a place comfortable enough to sleep one night at the capital, you go for this. If you are looking for something else and you can't lower your standards or tolerate not so good conditions, then this place is not for you.

I came to Hong Kong just for one night on my way out of China. I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station where I arrived in Hong Kong. I walked to the hotel from the train station. No problem. There are many local restaurants around the hotel. And the night market is right outside the hotel. I would probably come back to this hotel again.

Great hotel if you don't want to overpay! We chose him for the second time - this is an indicator!)) Simple but perfectly clean room and bed. It is convenient to get from/to the airport, so we took a room between flights. Absolutely friendly guys at the reception. We reached the historical area of Intramuros on foot in 25-30 minutes. The area is very calm. If you don’t expect anything extraordinary from the room, then don’t hesitate to book! 100% recommend! There is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, ask for a room on the lower floors.
