Canton Fair Registration for New Buyers
If this is your first time attending the Canton Fair onsite, register as an overseas buyer through the official Canton Fair website.
How to Register
- Go to the official Canton Fair website and click Register in the top-right corner.
- Select I'm a Buyer for overseas buyers and purchasing agents.
- Under Please choose your identity, select Hold overseas passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents. Philippine passport holders should choose this option.
- Enter an email address that you regularly use.
- Create and confirm your password.
- Click Next step.
- Follow the Buyer Service System instructions to complete your personal and company information.
- Continue with the Overseas Buyer Badge application after completing your account details.
📧 Pro Tip: Use an email address you check regularly because it will become your Buyer Service System login account. The registration page also advises users not to use a Yahoo email address because some Canton Fair emails may not be received.

Do Filipinos Need a Visa for the Canton Fair?
Philippine ordinary passport holders generally need a Chinese visa to travel to Guangzhou for the Canton Fair unless they qualify for a specific visa exemption.

No matter if it was morning or evening, I always encountered meticulous concierges who would proactively open car doors, greet guests, and help with luggage. Even in the scorching heat, working outdoors, they never slacked off. They truly deserve commendation.
There was a slight hiccup during check-in; it felt like the front desk agent wasn't very experienced in handling special situations, but thankfully, everything was resolved smoothly in the end. When I was checking out and waiting in line, an international staff member immediately came over and opened a new counter to process transactions, which was very flexible and ensured that guests in the lobby wouldn't have to wait too long.
The breakfast was also very rich and diverse. The staff in the all-day dining restaurant were well-organized. I particularly liked the fresh squeezed juice, and tables were cleared quite promptly.
As I was leaving, I chatted with a male lobby manager, mentioning that the hotel is well-maintained, but could use a renovation to add some smart amenities, such as robots for food delivery and smart toilets.

The hotel is located in the same building as a shopping mall, which makes everything very convenient. There is a large supermarket downstairs, plenty of restaurants and cafés, and even a McDonald’s just outside the entrance.
The breakfast is one of the highlights. If you enjoy healthy food, you’ll find plenty of fresh options every morning, along with excellent coffee. Guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby throughout the day, where there is a comfortable workspace for anyone who needs to work remotely.
The hotel also offers a self-service laundry room, a small fitness area with a treadmill, modern facilities, and excellent service. Everything was clean, efficient, and well organized.
If you’re visiting Guangzhou for the Canton Fair, a business trip, or simply want to stay in one of the city’s best-connected neighborhoods while also being close to the main attractions, I highly recommend this hotel.
