I booked the hotel via Trip.com. The hotel booking is paid, however during check-in, the front desk manager said that she couldn’t find the payment record. I reached Trip.com right away and I got replied and assisted immediately. The payment actually transferred to the hotel side but the manager kept saying that they couldn’t find the record. After spending half hour standing at the reception, we are allowed to check-in. The manager apparently wasn’t competent nor polite. She definitely need to learn how to deal things internationally. She didn’t apologise at all.

Sokos Hotel Kimmel is a beautiful hotel, staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet really nice lots of choices. Had prawn pasta for an evening meal, for such a large hotel, prices very reasonable. 5min walk to the main train station, and 10min walk to the town centre, Overall Sokos Hotel Kimmel was Great!! Will definitely be going back.

This house is situated on a well-kept lawn, a few meters from the water, in a quiet bay by the large lake Pyhäselkä, ideal for fishing, rowing or other water sports. Great new rowing boat is part of the house, as well as minimal fishing equipment. Friendl

Well equipped quiet holiday destination. Good sleeping places for four. The loft is shallow and there are steep stairs. There is however, three single beds.
