PPorsche chiangAt 3 AM, there was a knock on my room door. I thought I was dreaming, but when I woke up, the knocking was still going on. Looking through the peephole, I saw two men, one Black and one White. They didn't look like hotel staff or anything like that.
I didn't open the door, and they left.
I was about to go back to sleep when there was another knock, and I even heard the doorknob being turned.
I opened the door, and it was the same two men again. I asked them what they wanted, and they said a few things I couldn't understand before leaving again.
I immediately reported this to Trip.com.
The hotel replied that the guest was looking for something.
What does the guest looking for something have to do with waking someone up in the middle of the night and disturbing their privacy?
Why is it said so casually?
Since the incident, I haven't received a single apology or positive response from the hotel.

GGuest UserI am torn with this one so I'll list both the pros and the cons, starting with the bad parts to get that out of the way:
1) The pool was closed due to a part missing, and we only found out at check-in. I work in property management, so I know how hard it can be to keep a property fully operational 365 days per year. I still have a hard time understanding how a resort can find itself with a missing pool part in the middle of the season! And not give a heads up to guests before they arrive!
2) For that inconvenience, all we were offered were two (2) $10 vouchers to the spa... which was already closed for the day and was not going to reopen for 4 days! What kind of hotel calls itself a resort if the spa is closed 3 days per week?! And even if that's how you normally operate, wouldn't you think to change the schedule when the pool breaks down in the middle of the summer and you decide that spa vouchers are the way to compensate guests for the inconvenience??
For the good parts:
1) Parking was free.
2) Drinks were cheap at the casino.
3) Room was clean (we had a bad view but not much can be done about that I guess).
Two (2) final comments I'll call ”neutral”: 1) the mattress was a bit too firm and the pillows too thin for me. But I'm not counting that as a bad thing since that's more of a personal preference.
2) I'm not a huge gambler but I thought the sportsbook was small. I understand it's not meant to be Vegas but again, if you're going to advertise yourself as a casino resort, I just expected bigger. This part wasn't an inconvenience on my trip but I might as well mention it.

GGuest UserI was able to check in smoothly. The surroundings are very good. The interior of the room is simple and urbanized. It was a very nice hotel.

GGuest UserAlthough at the airport, the free shuttle bus takes ten minutes to circle the airport. The airport waited for a long time, and finally called and arrived 10 minutes later. The deposit refund is very slow and has not been received yet.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay. My grandson stated, “This is a nice hotel” as we entered the lobby. Crystal was an excellent and accommodating agent at the front desk. The room was clean and hallways were nice even though some were being refurbished.

JJessiegeThe room was clean, in the city center, a little far from the canal, but very close to the famous steakhouse. Don't take the room facing the main street, a bit noisy

KKseniia KoshevaiaWe stayed overnight at this hotel. When I arrived, there was a party in the lobby, and it was very noisy, but despite this, nothing could be heard in the room. The room was very spacious. It had the bare minimum for comfort, and usually, in such hotels, more is expected. The breakfast for $15 is not worth the money. In regular hotels, such breakfast is included in the room rate. I’m unlikely to be willing to return there again.

GGuest UserIt's really a nice and capacious place! All of places are clean. I must give credit to the service staffs. I arrived too late around 23:00 and got up so early around 6:00. But all of front desks staffs are enthusiastic to answer my question. They also helped me to use the coffee machine. Shortly storing luggages are also offered. Maybe one flaw is the size of gym. It's too small and fitness equipments are few.

JJessiegeThe room was spacious enough and clean. The shower pressure was a bit low, and breakfast was an extra à la carte charge with limited options. There's a commercial center, supermarket, and restaurants a short drive away.
