For this location at Hyatt Regency Savannah be careful with the overcharging. I spent a few hours calling trip.com and the Hyatt.
1st They over charged
2nd They have a $25 per day destination charge not paid by trip.com
3rd They have no alternative but to valet park, and it is $40 per night. You will not find out until checkout.
So add $65 dollars to every night stay to whatever trip.com charges.
This was not stated on any of the booking or info.

Very good hotel, after all, it is a Marriott hotel, the overall is very good, the price is cheap, the cost performance is super good, so the stay is very comfortable, I will come back if I see it later
Overall affordable is still very good
Except for the location in the northeast region
Very quiet.
It's also very neat
The front desk is also ok
The price is very affordable
You can continue to choose next time.
Rare to meet such a quiet hotel

Our Atlanta Motor Speedway Hotel is the perfect resting place if you are looking for a NASCAR host hotel. Relax at our hotel in McDonough which is a suburb of Atlanta. This Marriott hotel in McDonough introduces our lobby featuring inviting, flexible spaces to work or relax, free Wi-Fi and easy access to the latest news in our lobby lounge. The highlight of our lobby experience is The Bistro - Eat. Drink. Connect TM providing guests with healthy food and beverage offerings in the morning and evening dinner service with cocktails. We offer a well equipped fitness center, a 24-hour business center and boarding pass printing service is also available.
The location, room cleanliness, and service were all excellent, and it was a very satisfying stay as it was a new hotel that opened this year. I would 100% stay here again next time~
My husband and I booked this hotel for our first time in Atlanta. We wanted a hotel that was near a bunch of attractions while we were visiting a friend. I had no issues with this hotel except for the fact that when we asked for additional coffee cups and condiments for our room they kept telling us they ran out and couldn't help us. The coffee is supposed to be complimentary, but they kept telling us they would send someone to give us cups but no one ever showed up. Other than that, the room was cozy, nice and perfect for what we wanted. This was my fault, but I ended up picking a twin and we barely fit on the bed, but it was still comfortable.
The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes away from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and The Centennial Olympic Park. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan on seeing any of these or the stadium. Plenty of food nearby too!
We came for a special birthday celebration, and were impressed with the hotel. We weren’t there long enough to try out out the amenities, and look forward to coming back in order to do so!
The hotel is from 1989. But overall it is still OK. It is not far from the airport. There is a shuttle bus that can be booked by filling out a form at the front desk.
GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.
GGuest UserStaff was amazing! Including the shuttle driver.
Hotel was meh. Not totally dirty but not very nice.
Elevators didn’t work when I was leaving so I got stuck on my floor until I found stairs.
GGuest UserIt was a very pleasant experience staying at Kimpton the Shane. Home keeping was done everyday. Nice toiletries were provided, replaced as requested/required. We were there to visit the city but it also could be a nice spot for staycation as they have a lot of options of room service along with a bar and restaurant attached!
WWrightAnthonyWow, how to begin. The hotel and rooms are quite beautiful and the never ending view along the river with the almost constant movement of gigantic ships, is mesmerized. The location is also perfect with enough restaurants and shops within close proximity that you can find plenty to keep occupied even on the occasional rainy day. Now, with all that said, a caveat to any travelers wanting any semblance of rest. The second floor rooms are pure nightmare. There appears to be some sort of a supply room on that floor. The staff likes to use it for rather loud gossip and partying and when not in use by the staff, there apparently is a bowling league practice in there! The noise from tables and chairs and dishes being moved around at times even late into the night is just aggregating! The walls offer absolutely NO help in reducing the racket. Would we return to River Street Inn again? YES! As a matter of fact, we can't wait to return but, only if we would be guaranteed a room on the 4th or 5th floor!
LLorena CNice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap.
The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
CCageEnjoyed my stay Mrs Bridget was amazing she got me checked in early. The food was great for lunch and dinner. Brittany at the bar was very nice and fast service she helped make my birthday celebration memorable. Thank you to both ladies

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on the edge of the historic district, so it is a quick 10-15 minute walk to either River Street or even Forsyth Park. Even the standard suites are larger than most other similar properties. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were above average. All employees from the front desk to the breakfast servers and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly. Rated lower in the facility category as the outside landscaping by the sidewalks was **** filled and over grown. This really detracted from the exterior appearance. The fitness was large and has a good amount of cardio equipment but only had one, torn workout bench, no area/mats for core work and the hand weights were missing all 20lb and 25lb pairs. There should be other strength training options. The breakfast food options were presented in an attractive manner with good over all quality.
MMalaika Ball PaigeThis hotel was very clean because it is a new hotel. The amenities were nice. Beautiful picture on tv and a lot of space to store your clothing. However, check in was terrible. The man at the desk was frustrated with checking us in. In the middle of checking my dad and I into our separate rooms, he decided to check in three other people. My dad and I looked at each other in disbelief that he would forget we were standing there after a crazy trip there. I had a flat tire and trying to locate somewhere close to get a tire for my car was difficult. The donut that was put on my car was flat also. So, my dad and I was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. So, for this man to check in three other people saying we got on his nerves, was so disrespectful. I couldn’t understand the frustration when we had just got there. Maybe he needs a break. I do not know!!!😔
