I loved the ease of self-service, honestly found this more convenient and relaxing.
The place is very clean and location is great, we had good weather so we pretty much walked everywhere and only took the bus once when we went a bit far.
Would definitely come back if I need to stay in Reykjavík.

I didn't live in this house. Because double booking, another one is much better than this one. But I still found this apartment-type hotel. I got the door password through the walkie-talkie and went in and looked at it. The sanitary environment facilities were good. I just didn't see anyone and didn't live there.
I have nothing to say, I highly recommend it, there are several advantages: 1. Although it does not contain breakfast, the pots and pans are all full, you can do it, and you can eat well; 2. The problem is coming, what do you do? Shopping? The road is opposite to the supermarket, and there are supermarkets around, everything is there; 3. The location is not in the city, but the road within 4 kilometers, the basic self-driving here, so there is no problem; 4. The airport is closer than the city, and it will be fast in a while.

Towels were provided in the room but it is shared toilets. Things were generally clean but quite worn. Communication from the property was prompt and in advance which was good.

Except that the door could not be opened at first, after contacting the landlord, the landlord opened the door for us in the background and then updated the correct password. The room is relatively short and does not have a direct view of the sea, but other than that it is very good. The facilities are complete and easy to use. The multi-function oven and refrigerator are very convenient.

The apartment is located very close to the city centre so walking into the town to go shopping and drinking is very easy with buses also within walking distance.
Honestly the walls are quite thin as you can hear people walking into the apartment from the front door into the neighbouring apartments.
Me and my partner had a very comfortable 5 nights there as the heating is very strong the shower is nice and warm, and there is enough Delf and cutlery for about 4-6 people if necessary.
For it's affordable price given its location so close to the centre I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot to sleep on your trip to Iceland

Excellent location and is a few minutes walk from the rainbow street. Have its own parking area so perfect for those that start/end the trip with rental car. My advice is try to get the upper floor as I was allocated the GF which is the -0.5 floor versus the public road. So you wont able to sleep very late of a day, which can be good or bad. Other facility is all great and better than the hotel I stay earlier in Reykjavik.

Very Good
TTeacher HarryLayout of room was kind of strange. The bed is on a weird platform that might be difficult to navigate for less agile people, or those who are sleepy or otherwise impaired. Bathroom was overly small.
It has a kitchenette, but no microwave. The location is in the heart of the most touristy part of Reykjavik.
This is the third hotel I’ve stayed in while traveling to Reykjavik. The others, both lower priced, were not afflicted with the smell of sulphur (rotten eggs) in the water. It is possible to filter this out, and a person paying the price this hotel is asking should be able to expect better quality water.
If you want to be in the thick of the tourist action and don’t mind smelly water, this place is OK. Otherwise…
GGuest UserIt’s in the good location close to the bus stop so we can walk to the gathering place. The room is clean and comfortable we have large space

LLin Wei KwaThe studio apartment was excellent - clean, spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Most importantly, everything, from the kitchen appliances to the lamps and heater, were functional. The response from the team to queries was also quick and clear. Only thing I found inconvenient was the difficulty locating the apartment at the first instance, especially from the drop-off from the shuttle bus service. Also, there is no elevator, which could be an issue if you have heavy luggage. But overall, a very pleasant experience, and it was pity we could not stay longer.
GGuest UserHostess and host are both helpful and friendly. We arrived early and were allowed to store our luggage. The room was clean.
What we liked most was that there was a big window that can be opened and the room is very bright.
In addition the location of the apartment is very convenient. Bus stop 14 is about 5-6mins walk. And there are nice restaurants around the area. The church is nearby too. The host was kind enough to let us store our luggage on the day when we checked out. Overall it’s a nice stay. It added to the good memories of our Iceland trip.

GGuest UserIt's clean, spacious and well-equipped. The location is right next to bus stop No. 12. It's very convenient to participate in local tours. Self check-in and check-out are very convenient, highly recommended

GGuest UserIt is close to tourist attractions in Reykjavik. Reykjavík's iconic churches, town hall and lakeside are within walking distance. The tour stop is Bus-stop 6, so that's also convenient. You can see several nearby buildings and ports, and there are various souvenir shops, convenience stores, and marts nearby, so it's useful to spend time shopping. Various restaurants are also within walking distance.
Facilities and cleanliness are not bad. I think it is a characteristic of Iceland that sulfur is added to the water. The room we used was very spacious for 3 people, and the sofa was also convenient. There are various utensils for cooking, as well as a microwave and refrigerator. The downside is that the water control is sometimes not done, so I have trouble with hot water when showering or washing dishes.
Due to the clubs and bars nearby, you may hear the sound of young friends on holidays. Overall, it is a satisfactory hotel for the price.
