The accommodation environment is very quiet. The two-story single-family house has a large space. You can buy ingredients for sukiyaki and barbecue by yourself. There is a local supermarket 1 minute away. The meat and fruit are fresh and cheap. There are 3 supermarkets and 1 711 within a 10-minute walk. There is a dumpling shop with a long queue 5 minutes away from the street. There is a five-story pagoda of Toji Temple, a national treasure of Japan, next to the accommodation. I checked online and found that it has a history of more than 1,200 years. It was built after the Japanese envoys to the Tang Dynasty returned to their country. The temple is very large and very quiet. It feels completely different from the temples in China. It looks spectacular and feels like a dream of returning to the Tang Dynasty. There is a bus at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient to Kyoto Station and other attractions. I like to take the bus to see the city scenery. The B&B is in the Japanese local residential area, and you can experience the life of the Japanese firsthand, from Japanese children carrying their own schoolbags to school in the morning to the elderly going to the supermarket to buy discounted vegetables at night. These are not felt in the scenic area hotel. Generally speaking, it is very suitable for family travel.

This year, Kyoto's red leaf season ended a little later, and luckily booked a room far below the November price. This door is not big but there is a hole in the sky inside. It feels like there is a townhouse built in 4-5. Our check-in time was relatively late, and the small requirements made to the front desk lady were met. There are two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our couple is a bit extravagant. It should not be crowded next time we bring our parents again (it is estimated that it is inconvenient for both parents to come). The block is very quiet, not far from Nijo City, about seven or eight minutes from Omiya Station, we dragged our suitcases on the quiet street at night a little embarrassing: D. Overall satisfaction, if the price is right, I will choose next time.

Very satisfied with the stay experience! Location: Very close to Kamogawa River and Kyoto Imperial Palace. You can enjoy the scenic spots on foot. However, there are less delicious food in the surrounding area because it is not in a bustling area, but it is only a few kilometers away from the downtown area. Environment: Very stylish, renovated old wooden house. I live in the largest room No. 1. If possible, I will definitely choose this room. It is larger than the others. There is a shoe-changing porch on the first floor. The living area is on the second floor. The balcony can be directly accessed. See the Japanese garden. I have to praise the courtyard, it is very beautiful and it is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard and have a drink. The room is very big. I love the wooden bathtub with a view and the Japanese-style living room. I feel like it's a waste to stay here. Service: The service attitude is great, but remember not to bring children under 12 years old‼ ️This is not obvious on the hotel reservation page. My friend brought his seven-year-old child. Fortunately, there was a Chinese-speaking front desk person who helped contact the manager to accommodate. We can check in, but the children cannot go to the restaurant area downstairs. Speaking of restaurants, my favorite is from the afternoon to 10pm, so! have! liquor! water! waived! fee! Are you really not afraid of an alcoholic like me? The only drawbacks are: the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the sounds from the street in the morning can be heard very clearly. Furthermore, the door frames are generally very low, and anyone over 1.7 meters tall may bump their heads. I bumped them twice a day on average. But don’t blame the hotel, that’s what Japanese architecture is. Will come again!

Enjoyed the stay experience of the Suzuki Koji in Kyoto for 4 nights. If you come to Kyoto again, you will definitely consider it again! When I arrived in Kyoto in the afternoon of the first day, I checked in to store my luggage and went to the aquarium to play. When I unexpectedly came back to pick up my luggage, the hotel had arranged a vehicle to take us to my house. The overall environment is very comfortable and clean, and all equipment is complete and tidy. The only downside is that the location is far from Kyoto Station. The nearby residential area is relatively Ankou. It takes about15-20 minutes to go to Kyoto Station. But it doesn't affect the good mood of living here at all 😊

Highly recommended for getting authentic and unique experience of staying at the Japanese house. Great location, near to Shoji Dori, a huge shopping street, a short bus ride to Gion and metro station allowing to get to all historical attractions. The home is really nice, with all necessary amenities, clean and roomy. Want to specifically mention its interior decorations, really awesome. Tourist tip: print out your reservation with the home’s address in Japanese to avoid any difficulties with finding your way to the location, you show it to the taxi drivers and they will find the place. And special thanks to the Team: you are so helpful and friendly!

GGuest UserWhat a beautiful place! Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi is a house which has been refurbished with subtle taste and delightful creativity. There’s definitely magic to it! I loved walking on the pebbles in the downstairs bedroom - so soothing for sore feet. There’s also a smooth walkway to the bed if pebbles aren’t your thing. Upstairs there’s a tokonoma with scroll, as well as a full set of equipment for carrying out a tea ceremony, including of course, matcha. The host even had delicious matcha “financiers” waiting for us upon arrival. The outdoor bath is brilliant. It’s quite easy to fill and I’d highly recommend having an outdoor soak every night. Seeing as some in our group weren’t up for tourism in the city, it was doubly worthwhile to have stayed in such a house where they could breathe in Kyoto atmosphere without ever moving from the tatami!

GGuest UserStayed for 4 nights with my family (3 adults 1 child). House well maintained and amenities provided (toothbrush, comb, cotton buds, bath salt, facial wash, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner). There were pots and pans, condiments, and rice too. Fresco Supermarket, Family Mart, yoshinoya, yayoiken, and McDonald's were all within walking distance. Very quiet neighbourhood, which was a nice break from city life. My family and I enjoyed staying here, and I will recommend it!

The double-storey house can accommodate four of us, as well as outdoor baths. Although I only stayed for one night, I will definitely stay again next time I return to Kyoto!

GGuest UserThe location of this Kyoto hotel is very good, the transportation is convenient but away from the hustle and bustle, and the environment is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are well-equipped and kept very clean, and it is very safe to live. Although there is no service stay, the overall response is quite timely and the experience is good. There is also a Tsukemen shop nearby, which is especially delicious.

GGakiucI chose this accommodation to experience the squatter house, which is in line with expectations and can accommodate more than six adults. The place to stay is several streets away from Kyoto Station, and it is in different locations with Sakaya, but the first free connection to Sakaya will be provided at check-in. Both bedrooms are on the upper floors and the steps are high. If you are with the elderly, you can consider laying tatami mats on the lower floors.
