Hostels in Shaanxi, China

I stayed here a total of 4 nights: I booked forst 3 days, but then for a delay I added one more night. Overall, it was a nice place: the room was clean, the location was convenient (I could go to the center of the town in 10 minutes) and the amenities were good. However, I found that the towel was a little bit small and the absence of an elevators made difficult to move with the luggage. It was also a little bit hard to find the entrance, but the kindness of the staff helped me a lot. In general, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying a few days in Xi'An and you need to quickly see the walls, the bell drum and the Muslim quarters because of its price and position. Overall, I had a good experience and I slept well, so I think it deserve the maximum.

What an awesome hostel located in the 21st floor! Great views of surrounding skyscrapers, feels very sci-fi! The hostel is very nicely decorated with cool banners and nice furniture. Free tea, coffee and filtered water in the common area as well as some grapes in the morning which was nice! Theres an Xbox, gaming PC and guitar as well! There's a self service washing machine which can be paid for using the QR code, 3 yen for 15 mins of 6 yen for 30 mins. We think it doubles up as a tumble dryer too but we chose to hang dry. Staff are friendly, especially the older man that does the caretaking in the mornings, always smiling and saying hello! Very clean, comfortable and quiet hostel, would stay here again! 7-eleven and line 2 metro is just outside.

The hostel location is great, it is within the Xi'An castle wall. Service is good and flexible. The only thing to improve is the toilet facility, no toilet paper is provided which will cause inconvenient.

Sisters must choose Sifang when they go to Xi'an! ! Believe me! ! I have recommended it to all sisters hahaha Safety: From the gate to the room, multiple access control requires card swiping, and there are many cameras in the public area, which solves the worries of many girls living in youth hostels. There is a password cabinet in the room, which can be used to store computers, wallets and valuables. Hygiene: Super super clean, it is really the cleanest I have ever lived in. You have to change into slippers when you enter the door, so there is no peculiar smell in the house, and the toilet is also fragrant, which is not a burden to use. There are squat toilets and toilets. The showers are also independent compartments, with shower gel and shampoo, as well as areas for clothes and things you bring, and dry and wet separation hahaha Atmosphere: I feel that the people living here are very nice, there are no strange people, and I also checked in with my roommates at the Internet celebrity barbecue restaurant. Movies and board games are also played in the evening. Everyone is really super friendly. If you don’t know how to play, they will patiently explain the rules to me. The past few days of living here really left me with very good memories. I don’t want to leave and go back to school! ! Transportation: Super convenient! ! There is a subway station downstairs, which is very friendly to me with two suitcases. I can walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to see the fountain and hang out in the Tang Dynasty City at night. You can also take the subway downstairs to the Bell Tower and Muslim Street. It's super fast! Service: The lady who checked me in was very polite. She introduced the facilities and took me to the room. I had too much luggage, and she helped me carry a piece of luggage. I was so touched. Facilities: The hostel is really beautiful and tidy! ! There are all kinds of facilities, including refrigerators, microwave ovens, washing machines, dryers, water dispensers, and clothes drying areas. I feel that living here is everything!

Advantages: Everyone has disinfected slippers, everyone has an independent IC card cabinet, each bed has a bed guard and a small light, there is an auntie to clean every day, no need to worry about hygiene. There is hot water and laundry, there is also a row of charging office areas by the window, it is also close to the provincial library, very friendly to friends looking for jobs. Recommended~ ps: Book in time, the price will be slightly increased on weekends

Great hostel with available single room if needed. Very clean, staff were very friendly, and other residents were very cordial. Sits right next to a Line 2 subway station which is super convenient. Overall great experience and would stay again if my travels bring me to Xi’an.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. First of all the service was really great. When I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a room that was already occupied, but when I said about the problem they immediately change the room and I got ar upgrade without paying any extra cost. As for the room, it was very clean and the amenities were very useful. Also the toilets were clean and there were both squat and sitting ones. The location was also quite convenient, as it was next to the Da Tang Mal, so the night was very lively. The only con is that the metro station was little bit far (around ten minutes by foot), but overall it was easy to find the hotel even for a non-chinese-speaker like me In conclusion, I would advise this hotel if you come to XiAn, as my stay here was really great

My second time here at Desti Youth Hostel. Seamless check in process despite I arrived late at midnight. I chose 10 person female. dormitory which located at 2nd floor and the big is spacious that you hardly feel there's 10 people staying in same room. Each bed equipped with thick curtain to provide privacy and a bottle of mineral water also provided and is being replenished every day. Location wise is very good. Close to Bell and Drum tower, and close by Huimin / Muslim street which takes about 5-1 0minutes walking from the hostel. The hostel is accessible via subway Zhonglou station and use exit no 7 to get to the hostel. The hostel also provide free map but you can easily find your way around Xi'an by installing AMAP map. Staff is friendly and well converse in English so don't afraid to seek their help in case you need them. Laundry is also provided with free detergent at front desk. Will stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an. Thank you Desti Youth Hostel and till next time :))
