3-Star Hotels in Okayama Prefecture, Japan

New beautiful hotel very close to the station (5 min walk) in a great location in the middle of restaurant and downtown area. The rooms are tiny so it’ll be just a place to sleep as you can hardly open a large suitcase, but the hotel has a nice lounge on the top floor. The room is super clean and has a fridge as well as a small electric kettle to make tea. This room had a full bathroom with a large bathtub but we preferred going to the big bathroom upstairs. When I stayed at a smaller room on another day, it only had a shower so it seems to differ by type of room. The breakfast set needs to be purchased separately but we thought it was worth it. The hot dish alternates between Western and Japanese style on a daily basis, and the buffet had all kinds of dishes including a very yummy Japanese style curry. Also, the lounge had a great terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. In overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay to the extent we ended up extending our stay for a few days.

One of the best hotels I've been to. Complete peace. Very good service. The bus picks you up from the station and takes you to the station the next day. I took half board. Very pleased. In the evening, Japanese-style dinner, in the morning, breakfast on the terrace à la carte, even sparkling wine. The rooms are spacious.

The hotel itself is a tourist attraction. There is a souvenir shop selling local specialties at a reasonable price. There is a bathing area. The counter staff can communicate in English. There is a parking lot opposite the gate and the entrance and exit are on the other side of the road.

Breakfast is a set, with Japanese and Western options to choose from. The room is indeed a bit old, but the room is quite big. The location is very close to JR station. There are two convenience stores nearby, Lawson and 7-11.

Great Location, connected to the JR station and shopping malls. Room was clean and compact. Amenities are provided at the front, but comb & razor are NOT FREE (each cost 100 JPY), which makes me slightly disappointed. However, I love the breakfast buffet which has the local menu and many choices.

Right near the historic canal area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, this hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and WiFi worked great. The only weird thing to me was breakfast, which were pre-packaged sandwiches (tasted great by the way!). Outside of breakfast hours you weren't allowed to get coffee from the machine, you had to use boiled water and instant coffee instead in your room, a missed chance for something so benign.

The room was compact and clean. The air conditioner filter hadn't been cleaned in time, so there was a slight smell, but it didn't affect my stay at all. The breakfast was also delicious, and it was nice to be able to eat the local gourmet dish, horumon udon!

This is my first time visiting Okayama, and I chose this hotel after careful consideration. I am very satisfied. I booked two rooms, a corner twin and a park view double, and they assigned me to the same floor on a high floor even though I didn't request it. The elderly people in the parking lot were kind, and the reception staff and the breakfast staff were all kind. The hotel overall had a great atmosphere and I felt that they welcomed guests with care. I recommend that you don't go to a business hotel because it's a little cheap, and receive service at an authentic hotel like this. It made me feel good throughout my trip. In particular, the breakfast was so good that I wondered if it was really cheap. I could feel the sincerity in each dish, and all the tofu puddings were so delicious. The steamed cabbage and vegetables were especially delicious. It was amazing to dip them in the whole potatoes in the salt sausage steamed in the salt collection. I'm sorry I ate too much. I'll visit again soon.

Excellent hotel for its price. The hotel is well located. Near the castle and the park. The room is small, but clean and cozy. The staff is friendly. In the lobby you can drink free coffee and in the morning buy delicious and fresh pastries for breakfast.
