The rooms are simple but clean. Location is good, walking distance to many key places like train station, piers, old town, etc. Though we didn't book our rooms with breakfast, we could help ourselves with the coffee and/or tea provided in the restaurant.
First of all, the scenery in Lucerne exceeded my expectations! The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Lucerne, and you can see the scenery when you step out. You can sit downstairs for an afternoon✅
🗺️ Location:
Turn right at the Weggis Pier for 50 meters. There is a bus stop downstairs from the hotel. Go out the hotel front desk and go up the slope to the Rigi cable car. It takes about 8 minutes to climb, so the transportation is very, very convenient!
🏠 Environmental facilities:
The hotel is relatively traditional, not a star-rated hotel. It provides breakfast and has its own restaurant. The rooms are not big and some have terraces, facing Lake Lucerne. It is clean and hygienic.
✅Service attitude:
The boss personally helped to carry the luggage🧳, thank you very much; the sister at the front desk was super nice, check-in was very smooth, and she gave Rigi's travel guide and introduced it in detail, including several routes up the mountain and how long it takes to walk. When I was leaving, I saw my earrings and complimented them on how beautiful they looked. It made me feel good for the day!
The hotel is clean and nice, however the location is far away from Lucerne and we can not reach the hotel with public transportation, we need to arrange a taxi/uber from station to hotel by ourselves. It will be better if the hotel can provide shuttle to the nearest train station or help customers to arrange taxi pick up from the train station because there is no taxi at the train station and it is hard to find uber because very few uber available in that area. The breakfast is great with various choices including fresh fruits.
I really love this hotel! The front desk staff are extremely welcoming. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. The hotel facilities are highly user-friendly—absolutely fantastic!
Upon checking in on the 6th, I was impressed by the spacious, clean, and comfortable room. Given the forecast for Interlaken showing continuous rain for the next few days, I decided to cancel my Interlaken hotel booking and immediately extended my stay here for two additional nights (the 7th and 8th) via Ctrip. Very satisfied!
The hotel is located on Lucerne Mountain, about ten minutes drive from the city, relatively quiet, the room can see the mountain view, the air is better. The hotel has air conditioning but the space is small. Compared with other hotels I booked in Switzerland, this one is a bit useless, 1500 a night is not cost-effective
The location is very remote, it is recommended to drive by car, the scenery is very good, the hotel’s swimming pool is also very nice, suitable for taking pictures but do not allow mobile phones to go in, I don’t know if no one can secretly take pictures when the door is opened in the morning hahaha, the hotel has nothing to eat , It’s best to bring something up from the mountain. There is a small supermarket next to the hotel to buy food. There is also a ski resort behind the hotel. The lift tickets do not need to be purchased in advance. When buying tickets on the spot, remember to tell them that you are going to stay in the store. discount
Excellent! The location is superb, very close to attractions like the Old Bridge and Water Tower, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Breakfast was good too. The front desk staff were wonderful – very friendly and helpful. While there isn't a kettle in the room, they have a large hot water dispenser at the front desk, so you can easily fill a thermos and bring hot water back to your room. This was a really thoughtful and convenient service!
The location of the hotel is super convenient
It takes less than 5 minutes to get out of the train station
But the room is smaller than expected and the toilet is more ugly
The only advantage is that the hotel offers a self-service coffee machine 24 hours a day
Not many breakfast options I was satisfied with daily smoothie every morning
Very Good

TtasyThe check-in process was really difficult. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM. The self check-in machine couldn’t find our booking. We called for help and talked on the phone for a long time, but still couldn’t check in. Luckily (and unluckily), some other guests arrived and had the same problem. Because there were more of us, finally a male staff member agreed to come and check the machine.
This staff member kept saying it was our fault – that we entered our name wrong, or that we mixed up the first name and last name. He insisted the machine had worked fine for six months and couldn’t be broken. We tried different combinations of our names many times, but nothing worked. He tried too – and when it still didn’t work, he finally admitted the machine was the problem. Around 11:30 PM, we finally entered the rooms.
The next day, after we explained everything, the very friendly and polite ladies at the front desk kindly gave us a 10% discount. Most things about the hotel were great, and the front desk ladies were super helpful. We fully understand that technical problems happen sometimes, and waiting 2.5 hours to check in was also okay for us. We doNOT blame anyone or anything for that. But what we couldn’t understand was how the staff member insisted it was our fault and how he did NOT believe anything we said, and his attitude was a bit rude when we tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault.
HH JainThe room shown in pictures didn’t match what was offered on site. Very misleading. Took an hour of to and fro to be allocated a different room. The travel voucher never arrived by email, spent $$ on travel first day (shouldn’t have to) and got a travel voucher later after escalating to customer service. Breakfast was fine.
It’s a nice property but a few niggles as above. Must show correct pictures for rooms on advert.
AAnonymous UserIt was a decent stay overall.
Location was a little too far out, but with the buses available it was still fine. A little too quiet at night.
Room size was just alright. Was able to walk around freely. However, room was kind of dusty and dirty. Also, room has cigarette smell despite room is a non smoking room.
Toilet is a little dark. Other than that, it is usable.
Did not use the kitchenette so could not comment on that.
Had to wait for a while to check in due to everyone checking in the same timing. Besides that, service is good. Lights were flickering. Upon bringing the matter up, someone came to fixed it. When mentioned about the cigarette smell in the room, air freshener was given.
AAA KikiLocation wise is good as it’s right in the middle of the old town. Walking distance from the ferry dock and train station but stairs and cobblestones make it hard to drag your luggage. The only redeeming quality about the room is its size. The quadruple room is a good size for 4 adults with 4 luggages. However the amenities are close to nothing, the wifi is crap and the TV is always faulty. Cleanliness is average - doors are chipped and rusty, the tub is also chipped and dirty. We stayed quite a lot of nights and after the first two nights it’s like the housekeeping staff gave up on properly cleaning the room and replenishing the amenities. Would stay again only as a last resort.
KKCcccccccccCentrally located in a quiet street in the city centre near the main train station ; stylish renovation of the hotel and functional kitchenette in the room I stayed (can you imagine there is a dish washer in the room ?😂and every day the housekeeper used it for our dirty dishes); laundry room on the first room and cozy cafe on the ground floor; reasonable price considering a Swiss standard; overall, excellent (input the confirmation number from trip.com and your name when you need to do the self check in at the entrance indoors; the door is closed and looks locked but actually you can open it 😂) ; will book it again when coming here in Luzern again ) 👍
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is perfectly beautiful and conveniently close to public transport. This includes the boats which go on various trips on the lake.
Service in the hotel was very good and I would especially like to mention Kenny at reception who was happy to go the extra mile. The food was good and a wonderful breakfast buffet is served. The coffee was good, croissants and bread fresh, a wonderful selection of good quality jam, simply excellent.
For those who wanted, there was even smoked salmon and on certain days, a glass of bubbly!!
Would also like to mention the two ladies who run “breakfast” and keep things clean and fresh. Thank you.
GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises.
GGuest UserAlthough it is a bit old, it is well maintained. The room is large and there is no problem opening two large suitcases. Although the hotel is a bit far from the city, the hotel provides free transportation tickets, which makes travel very convenient. You can take the train or bus as you like. The hotel has a parking lot, 14 francs for 24 hours, and you can enter and exit multiple times. You can scan the parking ticket at the front desk every time you leave. The front desk service is very good👍
