Perfectly located, luxury, historic hotel in the centre of the City. Our good-sized room had coastal views, a supremely-comfortable bed and marble bathroom. Great wifi. Quiet. Stocked minibar : good to see that peculiar hotel Covid paranoia finally over. Coffee and tea- making facilities provided, though only instant coffee - which was disappointing, perhaps more standard in Greece? The buffet breakfast at the rooftop restaurant / bar was generous, varied and provided a spectacular visita to start the day. (Remember to ask for Americano rather than black coffee so you get a barrista beverage). Other guests: couples and adult groups of all ages and nationalities.

Location is wonderful, walking to many sites, 15 min to sea side, Aristotle Sq. Clean and new premises. Service friendly, willing to find solutions to requests. For my breakfast of Non Gluten, No Lactose, the dining room hostess offered Rice milk, and told the kitchen. Each day the kitchen cook came out with my omelet and Gluten Free bread. The Roof offers a charming calming venue, hostess knowledgeable in Tourism, helpful for touring advise. Reception staff were always assisting in logistics. Interesting Smart hotel, value for price

Although the Monastery is not famous for the quality of the environment it offers, it is a convenient area with a 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Thessaloniki. The hotel offers a comfortable service, daily hygiene, the expected breakfast even a parking space. The rooms are qualitative and beautiful when the hotel is not complete, because then you may find a less comfortable room. The price benefit ratio is excellent

Its location, albeit not with a great view and quite noisy, was very convenient and easy to connect to the rest of the city-centre, because of the public transport stops nearby. The room was spotless and the house-keeping was excellent. The only issue with the room was its not having hot water all the time and the WiFi being unstable, at times. The breakfast was quite good and offered plenty of options; the dining hall was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful and provided an understanding listening ear for any issues there might had been. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I would prefer that there were more languages spoken in the hotel, to make it more accessible. Great location, and very friendly staff. Clean hotel, with large elegant rooms, with all the amenities you'll need. Check out the spa and get a deep tissue message from Nelli. Tasty breakfast. The area has e everything you need, shops and stores.

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

I was staying one night in Golden Star Hotel. I chose the Hotel because I had early flight in the morning and Hotel was 15minutes taxi drive from Thessaloniki airport and also near to sea. Hotel Staff was very friendly, rooms were modern and clean, air conditioner worked fine. Room was quite small but it didn’t Bother much because I was staying alone in the room. Lounge Bar downstairs and Beach Bar was very nice and comfortable. Hotel has own beach which is quite small though. Near to Hotel There was many restaurants and tourist souveniers shops. Overall Experience was Good.

The hotel is clean and the sea view is great. The service is thoughtful and thoughtful, take the initiative to help with the luggage, remind the room facilities how to use, breakfast staff to ask if you need coffee, take the initiative to help you call the good early. Extra little busy will also help very intimate and attentive! Very satisfied with a stay.

Excellent from all points of view, between walks from the sea to very little to the White Tower, very central, new and beautiful structure, large rooms, two lifts, more than friendly staff and available (They printed me back air tickets and called a taxi to go to a site, some people also speak Italian. Garage nearby, it is not of the hotel but they want to call them to book it. They assigned me a junior suite even though with booking.com I had booked a superior) very pleasant gesture. The superaccessory room, very clean. Very comfortable beds with double couch. Air conditioning already on, so fresh room at our arrival Bath with shower, towels, towels, soaps suppliers of two different quality. Unfortunately, the bidet is missing. A large washing plan, but you don't know where to support the used towels. Frokost: not so many products but of excellent quality, they bring them hot drinks. I didn't find a reading room. The bar and restaurant next to, also open to the outside. Superconseiled

Very good hotel. It was a great experience. We got a free upgrade to a higher class room. The room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning and tv functioned correctly. Breakfast was fulfilling for its price. P.S. The personnel of the hotel even prepared breakfast for us because of our early check-out.

Amazing experience starting with location, parking, check in, and cleanliness. Staff is very professional and polite. Room is just perfect, with comfortable beds. And the whole day breakfast a la carte was served and delicious as in high end restaurant. All recommendations!

Run away ! The hotel claims to be a 5 star but it is far from it. The customer is not considered as such at all. When we arrived with our suitcases around 4 p.m., there was a staff meeting at reception. We felt like we were intruding until a receptionist asked us for our passports and gave us the room key after several minutes of waiting. She tried to explain to us but the team meeting did not allow us to understand each other. The bathroom was clogged. We notified reception twice. The receptionists took our room number on a post it both times but nothing was offered to us and we had to take our showers by turning off the water several times to allow the water to drain away little by little. There was also water leaking out of the shower. The beds are twin beds so if you are a couple you are forced to sleep separately. The breakfast is industrial and after 2 days we no longer wanted to eat at the hotel. We also asked for a toothbrush at reception but there was none. In short, there is no customer service. The staff except the cleaning ladies are not Greek. The hotel is Russian. The coldness was felt very well. Fortunately, local life and restaurants 1km from the hotel are local. We were able to find dishes with fresh produce and the warmth and kindness of the Greeks. This is what made our stay enjoyable. If it were only the hotel and its staff we would have left on the first evening. There is a fee for the beach and there was a stray dog ​​on the same beach and within the hotel grounds at the swimming pool. Clientele mainly from Serbia, Romania, Russia. In summary no customer service and cheap hotel

The most satisfying thing is the pick-up and drop-off service provided by the concierge. Not only a few days before arrival, the airport pick-up meeting point map and step-by-step graphic instructions were emailed, making the pick-up and drop-off service simple and convenient, and it is also free. It’s absolutely perfect!!

The location of the hotel is very far from the center, but it may be a good choice for those who will use the airport. The hotel had a huge sound insulation problem. We had a hard time sleeping throughout the night. All the noise from the next room and the corridor was coming to our room. There was a constant sound coming from somewhere in the room. We guess it might be a refrigerator. Overall the room cleaning was good but I think the carpets need to be removed. The carpets were not clean, there was hair on them. The beds were comfortable but very squeaky. It was disturbing. Also, the stain on the duvet was unpleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We found the breakfast sufficient and liked it.

Although a little out of the way the hotel is easy to find. There are shops, a pharmacy and a supermarket 8 minutes walk away to meet any needs of small children. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is very good. We have been to this hotel before six years ago, so returning here was nice. The only downside, the breakfast did not have as good a selection of fresh fruit or variety of yoghurt. Although I love Greek yoghurt. At the rear of the hotel near our room the staff had taken to dumping any large broken furniture or carpets outside the corridor window. In addition the swimming pool and area opened at 10 am yet clean up preparation of beds and cutting did not start till 10. Other than that the hotel is excellent and should be used by anyone passing this way.
