Ramada Encore by Wyndham Gimpo HAN River Hotel
8.5/5601 Reviews
I recently stayed at the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Gimpo HAN River Hotel, and while it has a great location, the overall experience was underwhelming. The reception staff were generally friendly. Additionally, I was surprised when I was told I would need to pay extra for an additional pillow — a bit disappointing considering the price of the room. The location is definitely a highlight, with convenient access to nearby areas, but the hotel itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. Considering the service and additional charges, I would recommend looking at other options in the area for a more comfortable stay.

I used double + single room 421 It was clean and I was able to park because I arrived early Breakfast was decent However, from the beginning, there was a smell that made me wonder if someone peed I thought it was coming from the floor carpet. . . It smelled like a sewer (They sprayed a lot of mist here and there;) After going out, it suddenly got worse when I was sleeping at night, so I was like, what should I do? . . It was so late that I was about to file a claim, but then it got better and I was like, huh? This wasn't a smell coming from the room It was a smell coming from the heating and cooling system I turned off the heating in the morning just in case, and the smell didn't come But it was so humid😭 I think you should check the heating and cooling system!! I had a good night's stay at a low price~! (I misunderstood that they gave me a smelly room because it was cheap;;)

Stayed just a night before visiting relatives near by. Rooms were clean and simple. If you're attending a convention at kintex, then it's a good place to stay. Looking for a ”romantic” getaway, might want to look around
GM JS Boutique Hotel

This boutique hotel was surprisingly comfortable to stay at. Although the neighbourhood was slightly rowdy with drinking crowd at night and alot of eateries & bars around, the room is quiet and cosy. We stayed in a 30m2 room with a huge toilet and spacious room. The front desk manager Mr Yu is the kindest most hospitable person Ive meet at a hotel. He took time to chat with us and made us a hot drink when the weather was getting cold. The lobby is nice with an adequate seating area for traveller who need to do their work/ meet with friends. Accessibility is good with the Metro being 7mins walk and airport bus stop 5mins walk away. I recommend the 24he Kimchi Jigae with Pork eatery around the corner.. its the best!

We would like to attend the exhibition at Kintex 1.location, a little bit difficult to find because there is no sign of the hotel and the name is different. The name of the hotel on Trip.com should be the name of the hotel. It is a ”Grand Motel” and we couldn't find the entrance easily. The local people were kind and tried to help us find the entrance. Ohhh. The hotel is inside the building and the hotel is on the 10th floor only. 2. The cleanliness was good. The reception was friendly and helpful. He supported us everything. 3. The facilities were good. This is Korea, the land of beauty. The hotel cares about the beauty, there were facilities for beauty in the room. 4. It is near bus stops and subway. It was really convenient for us. 5. There were some great restaurants there. We stayed there for 6 nights but we went to a BBQ restaurant 3 times, the owners were super kind to us and served good service with a smile everyday. Lovely restaurant. 6. There were some super markets where I could find fresh fruit, vegetables, coffee, bakery and also convenient shops everywhere. 7. Even at nignt, the vibes were safe The location of the hotel is great but the entrance was difficult to find at the first time.

The hotel is about 500 meters from the KINTEX Pavilion and walks for up to 10 minutes. The front desk of the hotel is a family, young can speak English, and there are two lazy sheep at the front desk. Downstairs is the Dahuadi Station of Metro Line 3, and it takes about 40 minutes to go to Seoul for shopping and subway change. There are restaurants around the hotel, there are liveyong stores, there are seveneleven, fruit shops 10 minutes walk to Lotte Supermarket

The cleaning was a bit disappointing, such as the dirt on the table that wasn't cleaned properly and the rubber bands found on the floor, but everything was satisfactory. It's good to use the dinner package because there's nothing around.

When I entered the ground floor of the hotel in the first day , the staff did not talk and I said I was for check in. The staff asked for my passport , name….then asked how many day would I stay. The conversation was about 7 to 10mins, I answered all questions and the staff said ‘you can go to the lobby floor by the lift and do the check in’. As my first time to this hotel , I supposed they were processing my check in but the time was just spent for doing something unrelated matters and I needed to further spend time again by asking the same questions in the lobby floor during the check in . Looks like the staffs thought they were the security guard. I suggested they should let the guest know that where the check in area is to avoid wasting both the times. Furthermore if people came back to the hotel from outside the staff of the ground floor would stare on the people without saying anything. Surprised what the customer service there. I would commend the staff in the breakfast area , they showed polite and efficient when handling the matters.
