Their responses to messages were instant. When we casually mentioned needing a dressing table for makeup, they surprised us with a free room upgrade! On my birthday, they even gifted me a flower. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Overall, the experience was truly exceptional. The location is fantastic, being close to all the main attractions, and having plenty of food options right downstairs was incredibly convenient. I also really appreciated the bathroom's dry and wet separation.

The free laundry room was very helpful in our travels, though only 2 washers and 2 dryers so there may be a wait depending on volume. The tiny gym is also nice while you wait for your laundry. While the front desk was friendly and efficient, they didn’t really have any recommendations or insight into nearby attractions. The location was also not as convenient as I thought. Still a 15-20 min walk (or longer if you have a toddler) to Nanping Pedestrian St or Kunming Old Town. It’s not right next to anything except big banks. The subway was also not as helpful as I thought, though it easily got us to the train station for a tour to Stone Forest. Overall, still great value for money and would recommend for cleanliness and amenities. But you do need to walk like 5 min or so to anything to do. If you have kids, Xinhua Bookstore is around the corner (5min walk) which is nice for some kid downtime. Malls with famous Yunnan cuisine also 8-10 min walk away.

Chongyang and his gf was sooooo kind. We are more than happy to stay at his place. We stay 2 night there and go to ShangriLa after come back to Lijiang we stay 2 more night there.The room was fabulous. We have washine meshine in our room. There's bed and water heater. They invited us to join for dinner at rooftop they know we are muslim so they prepared fruits for us. They are so kind. Help us so much. They are our sister and brother now. U should go stay here. The location also near walkable distance bus station is near, halal restaurant is 5min walk. So convenient.They are wonderfull host. U guys wont regret..I love lijiang so much. Will deff repeat again ! Thankyou chongyang & orange! ♥️

The hotel itself is truly beautiful. Our lakeside suite offered lovely views of the hotel's artificial lake, where we enjoyed watching the cygnets gracefully swim – it was incredibly serene. Jennifer provided exceptional service. Another major plus was the incredibly spacious suite, and visiting during the off-season offered excellent value for money. Overall, our hotel experience was fantastic. As expected from a five-star hotel, the bedding was incredibly luxurious; both the mattress and duvet were wonderfully soft and comfortable. There were also plenty of activities, making it easy to spend our entire stay enjoying the hotel's facilities. We'll definitely be back!
