Kimpton - Fitzroy London, an IHG Hotel
9.4/5207 Reviews
Bloomsbury
From its location and the comfort of the building's exterior to the staff's service attitude, everything scores top marks! Although the hotel's buffet breakfast doesn't offer a wide variety, the quality is excellent, and it was a very comfortable dining experience, with the waitstaff being very attentive! Additionally, the service received at the hotel's main entrance and the exceptional care taken by the staff in handling our heavy luggage during checkout, ensuring it was transported downstairs to the taxi, was commendable. These experiences definitely make us want to return!
Aloft London Excel

We booked a family room as there were 4 of us, 2 children aged 11 and 15 with myself and husband. Beds were super comfy, it was easy to get extra pillows too. However I would say double beds are quite small for 2 full sized people, no room to move really, so we didn't sleep well, despite the comfiness of them! We booked breakfast at check in. And had dinner in the evening as there aren't many other options nearby in walking distance. (We were starving) after spending an hour or two in the pool/sauna/steam room. The food at dinner was delicious we all enjoyed it. (I had the chicken curry.) Breakfast was the usual cooked buffet, we all found something we liked and ate lots. The pool/sauna and steam room was a nice addition for us all to enjoy in the evening and a bonus that it stayed open until late. There was a gym too but we hadn't brought gym clothes so didn't use this. It is a great hotel location for the Excel centre, but also the 02 as we got the cable car over to the 02 which was beautiful on a sunny cold crisp day. Also the train/tram service was so easy to use and navigate and so frequent! We would stay again as it was so easy to get around from here.
Middle Eight

Booked a 2-week long stay at Middle Eight for both business and leisure and was able to experience 2 types of room tiers during my stay. Specifically for the Urban room which was a larger sized room, the room was large (by London standards) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Toilets are small but had all of the great amenities including an excellent rain shower with good water pressure! The hotel property is very new, very beautifully designed and the location of the hotel is perhaps one of it's best traits - you're within a 5 minute brisk walk from 2 underground stations (Holborn & Covent Garden) - there are lots of great dining options in the near vicinity of the hotel however this also means that on weekend nights noise from surrounding pubs can be heard by hotel guests. Aside from this though, my stay was excellent, and I will definitely be rebooking with Middle Eight during my next visit to London!

A bit far from central London, but nice room and served with decent English breakfast. Enjoy the stay! The price is reasonable for in London
Dodi Apartment

Stratford
This review is based on the price point and the value provided . The comms from the property were excellent , check in was very straight forward and easy , upon arrival the room was in excellent condition and very clean. The room itself is small but comes with a kitchen , at the price this was very acceptable , considering the proximity to the tube . You can be in central London within 10-15 mins and the olympic park is also very close. This is an excellent option for travellers on a budget needing a base to explore London . It is not the fault of the property , but the close proximity to street level makes it a bit difficult for light sleepers and we could hear every movement of the noisy guests above us. Overall a very nice stay , thanks to the property for their efforts.

Rosewood London

Rosewood London is in a great location. There is a Starbucks and a supermarket on both sides of the hotel entrance. It is very convenient. It is very convenient to go to the supermarket to buy water and fruit every day. The subway station is only a few minutes away, which is very convenient to go anywhere, and you can go directly to Sisley Airport. The room is very clean and the bedroom is well designed. It is also close to the Lion King Theater, which can be walked in more than ten minutes. There are many restaurants nearby. The only thing I want to complain about is the bathroom, which is not well designed. You have to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, which is a bit unsafe for fat people and the elderly.

Residence Inn London Kensington

Kensington
The Marriott Residence Inn Kensington is within walking distance to Kensington Garden and Palace where Queen Victoria and late Princess Diana used as their prime residence. Our room has a kitchen and cooking utensils and the hotel is right next to Tesco grocery. The nearest Tube station is about 15-20 minutes walk, but the Heathrow bus station is only 5 minutes walk.

The location is excellent. There are theaters for various musicals nearby. It is very convenient to get to any place. You can also walk to many attractions. The hotel room is relatively large in London. It is larger than the ones I have stayed in before. It is cost-effective.
