This was a trip for a family funeral. It served our needs well. I had stayed there 4 years ago. It doesn’t seem like it has been kept up very well - definitely sighs of aging. There was an advertised “dinner” in the lobby in the early evening; it was chicken nuggets, iceberg lettuce with dressing, and potato chips. I think a “happy hour” with things like chips/salsa, cheese/crackers, veggies/dip might be more appealing. The breakfast was better than expected - the best we’ve seen since our limited travels the past pandemic years. Wasn’t fancy, but it was ok. Front desk staff was very helpful. A serviceable hotel, at a reasonable cost.

Overall the stay was good. Great location, close to everything. The hot tub only worked 1 out of the 4 days we were there and the pool I felt needed to be warmer but my wife said it was on the last day on her morning swim. The hotel had minimal staff during our stay but I still got what I needed when I called so that was nice. TIPS: - Rooms need more (or larger) garbage bins. - Rooms need a recycle bin. - Hotel needs more garbage and recycle bins on each floor. Eg. at each elevator, near the ice/water machine, main floor entrance (inside and out). - Hotel needs recycle bins on each floor.

One thing I would immediately noticed when i go inside the room is the smell and cleanliness but most of all the sheets. No smell and the room is clean and the sheets are clean to my skin. I know if the sheets are dirty or have not change if i get itchy. Some hotels dont change sheets to save money. That is why I gave 5 stars to housekeeping for making the room/rooms clean. THANK YOU♥️ Thank you also for giving us a room that is near the exit so that our fur baby can do his business outside. Although its an old hotel what matters to me is the cleanliness of the place. I will be coming back to this place again. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay and we like that it is quiet. No children screaming.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! The mattresses were blood stained and full of bugs. There was no shower curtain, clock, phone, coffee maker, fridge or microwave (even though we paid for a ”deluxe room”. The entire hotel stunk like stale smoke. There were not enough blankets or pillows. When we asked for more, we were told no.

Townplace and Suites Dickinson We spent three nights at this hotel and felt it was our favorite stay on our long, western road trip. We were in room #127 which was a great location, down on the end, quiet, easy to access without going through the lobby and the guest laundry just across the hall. It was a bright sunny suite, with windows on two sides, full kitchen, with a couch and desk area in the room. The hotel had the nicest pool and hot tub area of any of the hotels we stayed in, the breakfast was above normal with a nice lady attending to it. We got caught up on our laundry from our trip in what was a clean room with new looking machines and only cost two dollars a load to both wash and dry. It cost us three times that the last stop in a much less attractive guest laundry. The locations was very easy to access, just off the main roadway and the town was where we had some of our best meals of our trip with lots of good eating options. To top it all off, this hotel was less expensive than any other hotel we stayed at on our trip.

Squeaky bed. The main floor was a hot mess from room construction, which i was able to hear in the am and be woken up from. there were used dryer sheets in the bedding, and pillow cases stuck in my sheets. there was no maid to bring new materials throughout my stay. 7/10. i like the hotel and would stay again, although some alterations needed.

This property is clean and located close to a Walmart and various restaurants, but the street it is on lacks crosswalks or sidewalks to get to those places safely. The hotel also has a lending locker with items like blenders, panini presses, and slow cookers to facilitate your extended stay. What a cool idea! The rooms are spacious, albeit somewhat odd in their layout that maintains a fair amount of unused space. If you have to spend a night in Minot, this is a great place to do so that won't break the bank.

We stayed here on a long road trip across the US from Canada. Upon arrival, they checked us in fairly quickly. Got to our room and the keys didn't work, so went back and got new keys. The room upon first appearance was fine. However, of the 2 lamps in the room (only light source) neither worked and both had broken glass bulbs in them, huge fire hazard. So I called down to the office to get new lamps. I left broken ones outside room while we went out to find some dinner. Upon our return, the lamps were gone but no new ones. I went to the front desk and waited and the lady said oh....she put them in storage, didn't realize we needed new ones???? Uhm okay.... so she eventually brought us two more so we had some light. The plug situation is iffy in the room at best. The location is okay and there is a mall across the highway which was the one positive there. It was quite a loud motel... The next morning I went to make coffee with the coffee machine in the room only to discover that the basket for it was completely missing so unable to make coffee....UGH. We went down to the continental breakfast and all that was left was 1 yogurt, 1!!! That was at 8am. We left and had to go buy breakfast. All in all, I would NOT recommend this motel. this is the 2nd Super 8 we have stayed in the past year and neither was great.
