The hotel was recommended but did not live up to expectations. First room smelt, did not have privilege benefits that had been paid for. No phone in room to talk to main desk so had to keep going downstairs to reception. Second room was on 5th floor so all privilege rooms but we were given a disabled access room. Breakfast was disappointing as only five option on hot food counter and choices of fruit and yogurt limited. We decided to check out on the Sunday evening, rather than staying for the third and the last night.

It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

The location is convenient, within walking distance of Sheffield Station. Right outside, if you turn right, there's a good-sized supermarket where you can find fruits, snacks, and simple meals. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool, a gym, a bar, and a restaurant all available. The price was affordable; a single room during the National Day holiday was less than 800 RMB. It was the best value-for-money room we could find at that time (it was hard for us two to find a suitable twin room; not sure why, but they seemed to have more king-bed rooms). The breakfast was good, costing 18 pounds per person, and the variety was quite rich. It's also pet-friendly!

We stayed in March 2024 had a good experience then, but this visit last weekend 11th May 24 was very disappointing we found the room dirty with insects crawling around under the bed, we asked to change room which we did but found the same problem which i pointed out to the night receptionist, he came up with a 3rd room clean luckily at midnight, now very tired we slept well and spoke to reception at check out who offered us a complimentary Breakfast which was nice but doesn't make you want to return again if the rooms are presented to you so dirty please see photos i did write to the hotel manager on 13th May but as yet have received NO reply

One day of work related visit. Very decent hotel in the heart of Sheffield with great amenities and good value for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful, granted a complimentary late check-out with no fuss. Breakfast was really great, apart from not serving hot chocolate drink. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Sheffield. Highly recommended
