This hotel is the top choice for island hopping! The room was clean and well-maintained. You can spot the hotel right across from JR Takamatsu Station. Every morning, it's just a short walk across the street to the port, and the sea views are delightful. The fifth floor of the hotel has an ice machine and microwave, and there's a bakery on the first floor. Directly opposite Takamatsu Station, you'll find a supermarket and souvenir shops. It's also about a 15-minute walk to shopping areas like Mitsukoshi.

I was surprised by how small the room was for a hot spring ryokan. With two suitcases, there was barely any room to walk. There was no Wi-Fi signal in the room, and the explanation given was that too many guests were using it simultaneously that night. Wi-Fi was only available in the hallway and lobby. Although the staff tried hard to resolve the issue, there was no solution, so we had to use our own mobile data (as an apology, they gave us a small souvenir when we checked out). Additionally, the 'one night, two meals' package... At over ¥2200, it was ¥1200 more expensive than just the room, but both dinner and breakfast were very mediocre. Compared to a hot spring ryokan I stayed at previously on Shodoshima (which wasn't great either, but at least the food was refined), the meals here were far inferior. There were only three small slices of sashimi, and there were even fish scales on the fish. For ¥1200, two people could have had many better dining options outside. The hot spring was decent, but nothing particularly impressive.

Located on a hill near Takamatsu Station, you can see the beautiful night view from a high vantage point. There is a large hot spring bath on the top floor, which is very clean. There is free coffee and tea in the lobby. Parking is also very convenient. Highly recommended

My friend and I stayed at Webase two single rooms during our trip for Setouchi Triennale 2025. Although it is a bit far from the station and Takamatsu Port (20 minutes on foot), it is very close to shopping area, and the food streets, Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly English / Mandarins speaking staffs, easy self check-in/out. All was as expected and described.

Really enjoyed my stay at Takamatsu Kokusai Hotel. The staff were lovely and always had a great attitude. There’s a car park on site, which is super handy for a road trip. The hotel isn’t far from Takamatsu city centre either, so it’s easy to get around. I’d definitely recommend driving if you’re planning to explore the area!

The hotel is very comfy, and very clean. The staff are hospitable and friendly. The hotel will definitely be my choice if I visit Takamatsu next time!

This was probably the most expensive hotel we stayed at during this trip, but it was unavoidable since it coincided with a Japanese holiday. **Environment:** The location is excellent. You can catch the airport shuttle right outside. **Facilities:** The room was quite spacious. We had no problem at all opening up two large suitcases. I'm glad we stayed here on our last day.

The hotel is located across from Marugame Station, visible from the exit. Check-in is very convenient, with self-service check-in. From 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, they offer free udon noodles on the first floor, limited to one bowl per person. The udon is delicious, though it's somen, which I find even better. It's also very close to the main restaurant of Ichiraku-kutsuke-dori, about a five-minute walk away. The restaurant is quite busy; we went there around 6:00 PM and waited in line for about 20 minutes. We finished around 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the line was already more than ten meters long. We stayed on the 8th floor, which has a small balcony overlooking the port. We checked in around 6:00 PM and were able to catch a glimpse of the sunset, with the Seto Inland Sea Bridge looming.

The room is quite compact, with a 1.4-meter double bed, leaving very limited space to move around. The hot springs on the hotel's top floor are a definite bonus! They offer complimentary ice cream (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and Yakult (5:00 AM - 10:00 AM). After 9:30 PM, you can also enjoy hot spring ramen. For breakfast, they serve udon with tempura, which is very authentic and delicious. As for transportation, take the bus from Takamatsu Airport to Chuo Koen-mae (Central Park). After getting off, walk back a bit, and you'll see the Dormy Inn next to a gas station. From the hotel, if you turn right, you can walk to the Michelin-starred Ritsurin Garden. Turning left will take you to Takamatsu Port, where you can catch various island-hopping ferries. There are also many great restaurants directly across from the hotel. Overall, aside from the room being too small, everything else was fine.

I stayed for 2 nights at work. I also confirmed that the check-out time was 11 o'clock in the reservation confirmation, but after 10 o'clock from the front desk, I was told that the check-out was 10 o'clock and was urged to leave. The room information also stated that check-out was 11:00, and the reservation confirmation was also stated at 11:00, so I thought it was strange, so I asked the front desk to reconfirm it after leaving the room. It was thought that it was 10 o'clock at the front desk whether it was a difference of the system with the reservation site. I apologized, but I was disappointed because I thought it was a good hotel with delicious breakfast and good location. I made eco-cleaning only for towel exchange for two consecutive nights, but when I called out to get water at the front desk, I was told that it was eco-cleaning. I didn't have such an explanation, so I wanted an explanation.
