Fairly reliable Brazilian chain. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. A few minutes walk to Boa Viagem beach.

The Vela Branca hotel, part of the Andrade chain, offers good value for money, but some important aspects need to be improved. The apartments are cleaned satisfactorily, but the outdoor areas leave something to be desired (see photos attached). The building's security is another aspect that needs to be improved, because many homeless people hang out around the hotel, but there is no security professional in the vicinity or at the reception, which makes guests feel insecure and afraid.

Well-located hotel, close to the airport, facing the Boa Viagem waterfront, clean facilities, pleasant pool area, fully equipped gym, polite and helpful staff, as well as a wonderful breakfast full of options for all tastes. I recommend it.

The room hygiene is the best I have traveled to Brazil so far, the dinner is very good, the price is reasonable, and the music is very pleasant. When I finally left the hotel, the hotel said that the airport was free, but the driver had to give me money. I didn't have change at the time and didn't give it. He was very unhappy. If you are looking for a place beachfront this is the right hotel. Choose for deluxe rooms because the standards are not pleasant. A part of the old installations? The staffs are cordial. A special mention for Anderson and Stefan’s (front desk) and Nathalie (pool bar), they are welcoming and very professionals.

The hotel is well located in the neighborhood and has paid parking. The breakfast is adequate for some, but the cleaning is lacking. It is only cleaned as far as the eye can see. Behind the beds you can see the real thing, including trash and remains from previous guests. Another addendum is the comfort of the room. If you plan on staying in the room part of the time during your trip, forget it. The TV only has 2 channels, no subtitles for the hearing impaired, and it is not a smart TV, which must be out of this world for this hotel.

The hotel is well located, but in four nights, the sheets were never changed. The towels were changed daily, and the room was cleaned daily, but the sheets were never changed. There was a stain on the sheet that I found every night when I went to bed. There was also a lack of professionalism from some of the breakfast staff.

For the low price of the hotel, and given the great location for exploring historical Recife, this hotel is not bad. It's old, and it looks like maintenance is not a priority. Really the only thing I didn't like was the bed was saggy. Breakfast was OK.

The accommodation itself was good. The breakfast is very simple and has little variety. I ordered 2 meals, the first one came with the chicken parmigiana fillet almost completely raw, the other meal was good. But the big problem is the seal between the rooms, you can hear absolutely everything that is said or done. Finally, I would like to know where I can request my invoice in the name of a legal entity.
