Hôtel facile d’accès à l’entrée de l’autoroute. Grand choix de restaurant à proximité. Parking gratuit devant l’hôtel. Concernant le guichet de l’accueil, celui ci ressemblait à une porte de prison. Le jeune homme qui s’est occupé de notre réservation était souriant. Arrivée dans notre petite chambre, une odeur désagréable nous attendais ainsi qu’une forte chaleur sans climatisation sans compter sur le passage du train même à 1h30 du matin. Très mauvaise insonorisation. La douche est déconseillée pour les personnes fortes tellement elle est toute petite. Les clients présent dans l’hôtel n’ont aucun respect pour le sommeil des autres tellement ça crient dans les couloirs et claquent les portes sans gêne. Le lendemain matin, nous arrivons dans la salle du petit déjeuner ou rien n’était préparé. On a dû demander à l’hôtesse si c’était possible d’un avoir un. Elle nous a répondu qu’elle devait cuire les croissants, qu’on a eu et les couques aux chocolats qu’on n’a pas reçu ainsi que les baguettes. La machine à café/ chocolat chaud était vide de son eau. Les autres tables n’étaient pas débarrassé. Plus jamais on ira se reposer dans cet endroit même pour une nuit.

First of all, the cost to stay here was cheap so I understand that it was not going to be luxurious in any way. We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Franche-Comte. The location is just outside Besançon in a residential area. Handy for the tram and a short drive into the town. The staff were friendly enough. Our room was on the bottom floor. The hallway and our room were uncomfortably hot and stuffy. There was no air con in the room and, as it was a hot day, it was an uncomfortable temperature and difficult to sleep. The room was very basic. It reminded me of student accommodation. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and we had a thin pillow each. Otherwise, the room was clean. I personally wouldn’t stay here again but if you were looking for a one night stop for a cheap price it would be fine.

I am sorry to say absolutely shocking, this Alleged hotel should be far more open and honest, before advertising, the hotel is undergoing renovation, but nothing appears to be fully completed, it advertises parking space, but then adds an eight euro charge, The first room had a leaking air con unit, so we requested to be moved which was swiftly done, however whilst showering the shower door didn’t close to ensure water didn’t go all over the floor, then the shower rail adjuster and clamp was broken, a complete nonsense, my sting advice is stay away and avoid disappointment

Small and friendly hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were helpful. Hotel is ageing a little bit but it had character and was very good value for money. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

The rooms are very dark inside, attention better be away from the ashs especially in the evening it's noisy and you have the smell of tobacco, parking not top especially when people take three places or the mattress is comfortable

We spent 4 nights at the modern Mama Shelter in the historic centre in Dijon. The highlights were the location, an engaging front of house team (esp Lucianne whose beautiful smile was always welcoming) & scrumptious bath sheets. Unfortunately as an Accor Platinum member, there were some basics that were left wanting. Paying for wifi, a glorious looking bathroom that was quite dangerous & no tea or coffee facilities (we were told to buy hot drinks from the restaurant, no room service in freezing weather), all adversely affected our stay. I understand that this hotel isn’t targeting our demographic, but tweak these basics & im sure our stay would be 5 star.

Cela fait la 3ème fois que nous y séjournons pour faire une halte le personnel est toujours aussi accueillant le petit déjeuner correct et le prix de la chambre aussi mais il faut chercher sur internet le meilleur prix... De plus si vous avez une demande particulière il faut les contacter si c'est possible ils le font... La chambre très propre comme à chaque fois... L'accès et le parking sont parfait c'est calme

Very good quality price , the rooms are clean and in good size . The staff of the hotel is really sympathetic and listening to requests The restaurant's dishes are very good and nice Only bemol , water in the bathroom is not very hot

to escape, one night passed on September 9, 2022(one but not two),no sound insonorization: doors that clack from 4 a.m.,all hears,one who goes to the toilet(water hunt),one who takes his shower, and people who speak in their room, as well as in the corridors up to unjust hours, the only positive point,the friendly staff of the reception and breakfast

A beautiful place, unique in its architecture and decor. It’s an old building that turned into a hotel . The hotel is in the center of Beaune close to all the shops and 10 minutes away from the vineyards. The staff are very friendly. Each room in the hotel is different. Very classic and historic, yet modern quality.

A McGallery Collection medium-sized property with an unsurpassed de rigeuer location for serious sightseeing and shopping travellers. Lit up in pink at night, it is an impressive historic structure overlooking Darcy Square/Garden conveniently walking distance to the prime tourist spots of old Dijon: the Cathedral, the Ducal Ducal Palace/Musee de Beaux Arts, Place de la Liberation, and feeding spots ranging from the Les Halles Dijon to the Michelin-starred L’Asperule. Diagonally across are the city tramway rails with a fortuitous station stop. Crossing the tram railway takes you to the Rue de la Liberte through the landmark Porte Guillaume (William Gate), which is the main sightseeing and shopping drag of Dijon’s old city center packed with period buildings. Equally fascinating side streets packed with historic structures and sites feed off this main street. The hotel itself has smallish rooms along dark hallways, with views of Darcy Square, its garden or adjacent buildings and furnished in spare modernist style with oversized modernist art copies and see-through bathrooms. Reception staff are charming but unexceptional. You basically take care of yourself here. The Bar is a very popular post-sightseeing relaxation spot with great cocktails and friendly wait staff, with occasional small live jazz entertainment at night.

We had the most pleasant stay at L'Hôtel. Our room was spacious, comfortable, kept tidy, and quiet. Nice room amenities. The breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious. Great coffee! At our arrival, we were alerted of a flat tire. It could've been a real disaster, but the front desk staff person (I believe Marie?) took charge and quickly found a solution. She went above and beyond getting this taken care of, and even walked to our lunch location to let us know the mechanic was there and was fixing the tire. (Thank you!!) The entire staff were so courteous and kind. We dined at their Bistro restaurant. Our meal was sooo yummy. OM! Destination chicken dinner. I have never had chicken that tasted so good. I am trying to figure how to return asap for that bird. My only regret is that they did not have more nights available to extend our stay. Over the years, we have stayed at 2 other well-rated hotel locations, but L'Hôtel is the best in the area!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on a return from Provence back to the UK. The hotel was fantastic from the facilities in the hotel, breakfast and most importantly the staff. they cannot do enough to take the hassle out of your stay from organising/recommending local restaurants to recommending local cellar tours and degustations - we would definitely come back. Rooms are well equipped, VERY clean free mini bar drinks (soft) with wifi, Netflix, amazon prime video - everything you need. Valet parking tops it all off !

Quirky but nice hotel in a renovated building. Staff was very nice and our suite room on floor 1 was clean and fresh. The location was great and you can walk all around the town center which has an abundance of shops and restaurants. Be prepared fro a long wait for check in and check out unless you are coming or leaving an an off time. The staff is competent enough, but they didn't provide ample space for the reception area when they did the renovation, and it Becks up very quickly. If also seems they are having some issues with their reservation system, as they were asking everyone to pay when they arrived and when they left, and everyone was telling them they prepaid. Ultimately we didn't see any double payments on our CC so there was not issue. Would still come back.

I saw the great reviews here and the facility looked nice so I booked this hotel. I just got back from my stay and I am 100% sure that these reviews are fake so I want to warn others. We got to the hotel earlier than check in and our room wasn't ready which is absolutely no problem. We had planned to drop off our stuff and have lunch anyways. We get back at check in time and our room still isn't ready. They have had 3 hours notice at this point that we would be back at 3 after lunch. Then we head to the pool to wait for the room to be ready but I ask them to please let me know as soon as it is ready, as we have somewhere to be. An hour goes by and still nothing. At that point, I go back to check on things. Our room was ready, no one called us, or told us anything at all which was very frustrating. We probably would have been out there all day if I hadn't gone back to check. At this point we had to cancel our other plans because we didn't have enough time to shower and get there with the hour delay so we decide to nap. As soon as we start to nap there is an insanely loud alarm going off. This goes on for 20 minutes and the whole hotel has to evacuate. It ends up being a false alarm. I totally understand that things malfunction sometimes but the bigger issue was the staff. First off, at no point does anyone go around telling people that everything is fine, not to worry, or apologize for the inconvenience. The alarm just suddenly stops at some point. I expressed my frustration to reception between the check in process and the alarm going off but they literally did not care at all and barely gave me a sorry. At this point a normal hotel would have made some sort of commercial gesture - free breakfast, or at least try to pretend that they care at all, anything really. What's worse, I got the sense from their reactions that this alarm thing might be a regular occurrence as one of the staff muttered something that I should be grateful it wasn't at night. The next day we are going to see some wineries. We are leaving the hotel at 10:30 AM and the cleaning ladies are cleaning the room next door to us. We politely say hello and that we are leaving, we would like our room cleaned and that we would be back in the afternoon. We come back at 3:45 PM and the lady is in our room and just starting to clean it. I have no clue what she did from 10:30 AM - 3:45 PM as we were her next room to clean but I suspect she just did nothing. We are tired and just want to get in the room so we tell her it is no problem, she doesn't need to finish. We ask her to just refill the nespresso pods so that we can have coffee for the next morning. She says sure, leaves to go get them and never comes back. Another cleaning lady walks past the room and I ask her as well if we can get a refill. She says sure and that she would go grab some. Of course, she never comes back. Finally, I call the front desk. I express my disappointment again with the level of service and ask for coffee p

The hotel is converted from an old convent and retains its tranquillity and architectural beauty Our room was spacious com a very well-equipped kitchenette (complete with dishwasher) er exhaust fans work well. The room had a small window to the inside, the bathroom spacious with a nice roomy. Very close to the centre and to a silo parking at reasonable rates, it was the perfect solution to visit Dijon and relax afterwards. An espresso machine in addition to the filter coffee machine would have been a plus.

I don't know why this property was very tight this day. I was told that there is no room, so I booked the ibis Styles Belfort Center Hotel. (I am sorry to mention here, because there is no place to comment, male staff First, I need to fill in the personal information signature, pay (previous credit card guarantee), and then give a room 101, this room is the bottom of the room, the entire wall is a glass door and window, it is estimated that it may be broken from the outside Into the sun, no sun, no air conditioning and hot water bottles. We asked for a room change, no results, asked to check out the money, no results, shocked... Hurry to find the best Western hotel that I have lived before. Fortunately, with the room, I immediately booked it and returned to the hotel with high quality staff (previously booked twice, giving praise). End the unpleasant experience of the ibis Styles Belfort Center hotel as soon as possible.

Glad we chose Mercure for our 4-night stay. For a 4 stars, the rooms are small. However the furniture, the beds are very good quality. Staff was polite and professional and friendly. Location is excellent! We enjoyed crossing through the park and a bridge to reach town within 5 minutes walk. The parking was a huge plus. Breakfast is offers great choice and has quality products. Staff very professional and courteous. Bathroom amenities are basic but good quality shower and shampoo. Nothing else. Do carry your own. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will return again.

Very good value for money, free parking, suitable for self-driving tour

Bellefu itself is not big, we drive, first stop, check in, change the parking card when going out; hotel space is large, no washing and slippers. Not far from the perimeter is the Belle lion and the old city wall. The bed is large and there is a sofa bed that can be used by a family. For the Chinese, breakfast is quite normal and there are not many varieties.

This is truly a Grand Hotel albeit it seems that management isn’t sure how far this will be executed. The hallway is stunning with a stairway at the end and beautiful windows. A lot of Art Deco elements. You can’t have a drink after dinner-unless with a reservation- and for a drink at the bathtub I had to put my clothes on again and head to the reception. Moreover, the user manual for the mobile airco is in French only and when a friendly lady explained it was clear that even with an English text I would never have managed. Further: clean, great bed, good bathroom with all you can wish for. The service, both at the reception and later in the room was impeccable. Excellent English proficiency. Recommended.
