If it wasn't for one receptionist with an attitude, the stay would have been great! A little on the expensive side and I wish I they had a little more in the recreational area. Great location where you can catch the bus.

While I can't complain about the price of this hotel. It did not live up to the expectations that I had. Location wise, it's near a fairly busy street and not only are the walls thin but there are gaps in the door so I heard every time a car passed by along with all of the commotion that happened outside. Additionally, the photos that you see on the hotels website and reviews don't accurately portray what the hotel looks like in person. It feels like this hotel was attempted to be renovated and got halted somewhere in the middle.

Really cute motel with a great location. This was our second visit in two years. It’s an easy walk to the river walk. The rooms are a bit small and while there is a seating area in the room, it’s hard plastic chairs and not extremely comfortable. The bed was comfortable which was all we really needed anyway. The hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are very nice and in generous quantities. No teeny tiny bars and tubes. Don’t expect a lot from The Neon Mallard bar on site. We’d gone there in May 2022 and it was wonderful! We were excited about going back. This trip we waited for half an hour and were never even acknowledged. And there was another table that we communicated with who also had not been spoken to.

Booked a king room through trip app. Somehow after I booked I noticed it said 3 people not just 2. When we checked in we did not get a king room we got 2 doubles. When I went to office to inquire about it I was told since it said 3 people they did not give us a king room. I told them we only had 2 people but they didn't have a king room available. So we settled for the doubles, but he was nice and honored the price that I booked it for through tirp app.

We loved our stay at the Matterhorn! Great location, cozy room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower. Clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving us ideas for activities and restaurants. Definitely recommend! Within walking distance to most of Ouray, while still being quiet and private.

My Honest and fair review. #1. Check Out is 11 AM Sharp, if you don't they will come Knock Hard and charge you a late fee. #2. Lot's of Strange Characters hanging around.#3. S.P. like to make loud Noises late at night, i.e. Up to 2:45 AM. #4. Things were Broken and Dirty in the room, i.e. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Over all it was $68 a night, I knew what I was in for, but I won't bring my girl here. My issue of getting charged for getting out of the room at 11:04 was resolved by a Red Roof person named Shalimar Narvaez because I made a long phone call and asked to please speak to a Supervisor. It was refunded promptly, although the front desk lady was rude about it when I spoke to her. The place is dysfunctional but if I needed a cheap place to stay close to Denver I would stay there again maybe with my own sheets.

Budget Inn had everything we needed to enjoy 2 nights in Durango and ride the Durango-Silverton Train. Convenient location, basic and functional amenities, and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful front desk clerk. There is no pool and parking is tight especially if large trucks are parked close to the entrance. We had no issues with cleanliness and got exactly what we expected for the price.

This hotel is decent enough. Just needed a place to sleep for a few nights... Had to buy our own toilet paper because their delivery never came in the week we stayed but the dollar tree toilet paper worked fine for us
