The ambiance here is excellent. Downstairs, you'll find a restaurant and bar, with the dormitories located on the upper floor. The bar boasts a fantastic atmosphere, and the interior design is very thoughtfully executed. It's clearly a popular gathering spot for young people. The beds are relatively spacious, and having an en-suite bathroom in the room is a huge plus.
The room was spacious and quite clean, equipped with a kitchen. Public transport was right at the doorstep, and there's a supermarket downstairs. We weren't sure about the trash disposal policy, but we ended up taking it out ourselves. Overall, it was a good experience.
It is about a 5-minute walk from tram No. 30 or bus No. 74, which is quite convenient. You can then take tram No. 17, 18, or 19 to get to Central Station or Lao Chen. In short, it takes about half an hour from the hotel to the city center. I recommend that you buy an S L one-day or three-day transportation ticket, which is quite cost-effective to stay here.
The hotel has all the basic facilities, including a washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, some pots and pans, and wine glasses, but no toaster, kitchen paper towels, or laundry detergent (you have to buy laundry detergent from the vending machine on the first floor, it's 15KR a bag, it's not expensive, but if it's so cheap why don't they just put it in the hotel? You buy a bag downstairs and use less than half a bag for washing clothes once, you can't use it up at all, and it's a waste to throw away the rest. It's troublesome for travelers to carry a bag of laundry detergent with them when traveling because they are afraid it will spill). In addition, the dryer didn't seem to be very useful. The clothes were still wet after more than two hours of drying. In short, if you come here just for the washing machine, don't consider it. In addition, the facilities and supplies in the room are a little bit old, and the bathroom only provides ordinary shower gel that can be used to wash hair and body, and there is no conditioner. The hair dryer is also a small one.
However, there are large supermarkets such as COOP and Lidl next to the bus station. There is also a store selling many kinds of alcohol and a burger and fried chicken restaurant that is open until late. The space in the room is not small and the soundproofing is acceptable. Overall, it is an option worth considering.
Overall lovely location and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great. Where they lost points was because there were a lot of spiders present. If travellers are okay with that then it’s fine - I unfortunately don’t want one crawling on me at night. I killed some in my room and at night and i was on edge for a bit. I went to reception and they said no other room was available. They provided me with a spray but mentioned it was strong and I would have to stay out for a little bit before I could return.
The following morning staff came to clean the room and found nothing, but then when I went back there were more spiders. When I spoke to management they just said that there are spiders here and they do their best to clean and that there was nothing else they could do for me. I told them at check out that the spider issue did dampen my experience - and the manager was okay with that.
Came to the first hotel in Sweden, the first impression is very good! Hotel check-in in the afternoon, not in advance. But the front desk service is good! There are also free fruits, drinks and snacks. The surroundings of the hotel are a bit far from the scenic spots, 2-3km away from the old city, the hotel has a kitchen, and there are supermarkets around, so you can cook your own meals easily!
Great place n great location. The room is just too small comparing to Citybox Helsinki. No big complaint. We survived. It did the job.
Love the hotel n staff. Will do it again if am coming to Stockholm.
Great location and stellar service! We arrived ahead of the check in time and they offered us an upgrade to the Executive Room for 500 SEK per night (as of Dec 2024). This was a great offer because not only could we check in early, the room had fantastic view, and it also granted us access to the Executive Lounge.
Attached photo is the view from the Executive Lounge.
Next to the central Stockholm station this hotel provides small but totally renovated and equipped rooms. Breakfast is very nice too ! Beware , when choosing rooms, some of the rooms don't have a window ! On the other hand the view from the rooms with window isn't exactly spectacular... A good choice for budget conscious travelers !
Everything went well. Got breakfast, got gym, got free sparking bottle water. Shower is good. Tram stop just down there. Shopping place nearby. The society around is peace and quiet.
The location of this hotel is good, a bit far from the city center, but the room is clean and large. In Northern Europe, where land is at a premium, the price/performance ratio is very high. Also, I would like to mention that the hotel is not open 24 hours a day. If you arrive after 3 pm, you may not be able to check in. You need to contact the hotel in advance.

MMarinTRAVELIt was well managed and easy to spend.
Especially, the bed mat was comfortable and I slept after a long time.
The kitchen was also equipped with cooking equipment, which was wide and clean and easy to use.
I booked a shared room for men and women, but he told me that the day was only men, and paid an additional fee on the spot.
It is negative that I had to pay 1000 yen extra to rent bed linen.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts an extremely convenient location; the airport express line is just a 2-minute walk to the left of the entrance. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is generous. What truly impressed me was that, knowing I had an early flight and needed to leave around 5 AM, the hotel thoughtfully prepared breakfast ahead of time. This was a wonderful surprise and really showcased their personalized service.
SSimonI recently stayed at this hotel with my family, hoping for a relaxing break. However, our experience was far from what we expected.
Upon check-in, there was no mention of any building works taking place. It wasn’t until later that we noticed a small sign in the hotel lift, casually mentioning that disturbances might occur between 9 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, this warning was not only insufficient but also inaccurate. We were rudely awakened at 7:15 AM by loud drilling, far earlier than the supposed start time.
When we went down for breakfast, we were shocked to find that the building work had already begun, well before 9 AM too. The noise and disruption made it impossible to enjoy and certainly not a relaxing start to the day. The coffee was dreadful, as another reviewer had mentioned, and the breakfast experience was further marred by the staff’s lack of attention. If you are lucky enough to have your table wiped, don’t expect it to be done with a clean cloth or any cleaning products. Rooms shabby, location however is good.
The situation worsened after we checked out. Despite having prepaid for our stay through Trip.com, we were charged again on our credit card for the entire stay, 24 hours after departure. This has resulted in the hassle of trying to get the hotel to refund us from overseas and we’ve had to engage our credit card company to assist with the dispute. While Trip.com has done their best to secure compensation for the building work disruption, the hotel has been utterly uncooperative occurring to trip.com seniors.
Adding insult to injury, we didn’t even receive a goodbye when we checked out—just a lacklustre experience from start to finish. This hotel is part of a large chain it seems, but it’s clear that they are not customer-focused at all. I would strongly advise reconsidering whether they deserve your money. There are plenty of other places that understand the basics of hospitality….. improvements needed!
JJim ChngThis hotel exceeded expectations with its friendly staff, clean rooms, and modern amenities. The central location made exploring the city easy, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The room was comfortable and quiet, providing a great night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers.
JJubeJubeNot only did this hotel provide everything we could possibly want on our Arlanda layover, it went beyond expectations. When I booked I never would have guessed we would be treated to a full cinema experience with a complimentary viewing of Gladiator II in the state of the art auditorium. The room was great, quiet, comfortable, with water and hot drinks, but it was the extra touches, the warm friendly welcomes, the grace and cheerfulness of the staff in the dining room (breakfast was excellent!) and the unexpected that made our stay into an experience. Am looking forward to returning.
Ppippi312This hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise! Though the room wasn't huge, it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was particularly well-appointed with thoughtful details: the showerhead's button design was the most sensible and convenient I've encountered in any hotel, and the heated towel rail ensured soft, dry towels.
Getting here is incredibly convenient: from the airport, take bus 579 or 583 to Märsta, then transfer to Pendeltåg 40 or 41 and alight at Ulriksdal station. The hotel is just a one-minute walk to the right after exiting the station.
Bus 509 stops directly across the street from the hotel. A few stops will take you to Ulriksdal Palace – I highly recommend visiting if you have time, and don't miss the excellent desserts at its cafe! Alternatively, taking bus 509 in the opposite direction for about 10-15 minutes will bring you to Solna Centrum, which boasts a large supermarket and numerous shops.
A crucial tip: book well in advance! I secured a significant discount on the room rate by booking three months ahead. Also, be aware that in Swedish hotels, you typically need to proactively inform the front desk if you wish to have your room cleaned.
The photo shows Ulriksdal.
DDmitrii PoponkinThe room was quite cozy. I love the design of the imaginable window and a little rest zone with a chair. Bathroom is stylish and functional.
The room definitely does not have enough lighting and that is just ridiculous for the 4 star hotel and 900+$ for 4 nights. Say goodbye to your eyes health.
The ventilation is also something you cannot regulate properly. The room is under the ground level and that MUST be managed well. But all you can tune is +2 degrees or -2 degrees. Not the air flow intensity. Staying alone in a room for 2 and waking up because of a lack of fresh air - you will remember my words doing it.
Hotel has a lot of “Disney cinema nights”, kids events, painting together but come on, you really think that I came to Stockholm and live in the center in a buisness-like room for staying in the hotel? surreal. I’m here either to discover the city or doing business. The ones who really can enjoy those activities are the beloved by buisnesman or buisness woman partners of 20th centure family model.
No bottle of water in the room. Poor hospitality.
No dental kit. Clean your teeth with a pure water and a pointing finger before the paid breakfast. Or actually, you can buy our fancy eco-tastic biodegradable sustainable no-wool-no-ant-suffered tooth brush and carbon neutral nature kissed tooth paste.
Breakfast is always the same. You can pick whatever you want. With a medium variety.
Overall 3 out of 5.
SSoniaNDAbsolutely loved the hotel. Perfect choice! It’s only a 25 mn walk to Gamla Stan, and it’s right in the center quite literally touching the central metro/train station.
The Arlanda express train takes you door to door from the airport to the hotel in 18 mn.
The room was comfortable, clean and modern. I love the design of the hotel, very cool.
Best of all was the morning receptionist at the ‘barception’, Zhila (Sheila). Friendliest I’ve ever met and so helpful! She let me know about the Strawberry app which allowed me to get free coffee and skip the line at a concert I was there for, she had a smile for us every morning and loved a chat.
Really the best choice in Stockholm, and very good price for the quality. I’ll only stay here when I come to Sweden!
MMandyLocation is good near train station and shopping area but hotel looks old tho think they are going through some renovation inside, my room was spacious but a little hint once enter room it’s treasure hunting super irritating haha I have to hunt for my bedroom slippers toothbrush and kettle 😂 please ask for city view if possible cos once I open my window blind I’m like a prisoner inside looking out to an enclosed hotel rooms walls no view at all (please refer to my pictures) also I think it’s the European staff working culture and attitude cleaners are not detailed same as Marriott Denmark where I came from haha they gave me a half used small bottle hand cream then half side of slippers disappearing then some days they left their dirty cloth on my sink counter 😫 also not sure if they clean the toilet thoroughly or not cos if yes they would have noticed a faulty shower head and reported it to be fixed right? .. 5 days and the water is still sprouting out each time I turned it on goodness me! 😆(I wish I can post video of it)
Hotel food so so only meatball super salty eating area a bit dirty but a few serving staffs are very polite but was kind of disappointed with their hotel manager and security personnel I was molested during breakfast and none can help me out unless I make a police report it was a sucks day for me but overall Stockholm Sheraton can stay
AayutripI wanted a large room, so I chose a family type room. It has a large window and a feeling of openness. It was nice and spacious. Breakfast was also excellent! I especially like the granola and scrambled eggs.
The only thing that bothered me was that the towels were frayed and the sheets were torn. I think some linens should be replaced with new ones.
