I recently stayed at the Radisson Deluxe Suite and had a fantastic experience. The new design of the room is stunning, with a modern aesthetic that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The suite is incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Plus, the value for the price is exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay!
The front office section is super helpful and prone to awareness and I had been staying here ever since I drop by Brunei...its my one stop place for me to rest with no issue at all...Easy access to all food variety surrounding in that area.. marvellous
The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, they always smile at us and try to fit our requests. The room is clean and comfortable in overall. Their breakfast has good quality too. The only con is the water supply is not hot and weak, there are also some worms in the toilet tiles. We responded to the staff and they resolved the water supply issue.
The hotel wifi is horrible!!! Better to go to Starbuck to get the wifi connection. The location of the hotel is good with many nice, good restaurants nearby, all within walking distance
The swimming pool is on the 2nd floor and you have to walk across the building to go to the pool which is so inconvenient. The swimming pool is pretty bare with no facilities
The lobby area is quite miserable with limited seats. There is a bakery store and Starbuck is within the lobby area. The room is clean but a little old, need to do some renovation to improve on the outlook
The hotel is in a prime location, close to all attractions, the room is of a suitable size, the surrounding places to eat are also very good, and the hotel service is also very good. The entire Brunei transportation is extremely inconvenient, there are few public transportation and taxis are very expensive.
There's one of the best locations hotel in Brunei 🇧🇳, shopping mall ( times square) just located in the same building of the hotel as well. Furthermore, also connected to the other 2 shopping mall ( airport mall and city square as well.) breakfast quite nice and room service food also not bad. The Room was clean and spacious too. Will stay again this hotel. Thanks

The Empire Brunei 🇧🇳
After all the walking yesterday, today was all about rilexing in style—and what better place than the legendary Empire Brunei?
✅ And yes—it absolutely lived up to the hype. 😍
This place is more than just a hotel. It's basically its own little kingdom. Here’s what they offer:
🏀 Full country club (basketball, squash, badminton, table tennis, pools 🎱)
🏊♂️ Indoor swimming pools & jacuzzis
🏖️ Private beaches & lagoons
🚴♀️ Kayaks & bicycles
🎥 On-site cinema
👶 Kids Club
🍽️ 4 Restaurants
⛳ Golf course
🚙 Buggy rides everywhere (the place is huge!)
We booked a Dart ride from Jubilee Hotel and arrived around 11AM. Although check-in was supposed to be at 2PM, we were warmly greeted by Hafiz at the front desk. He invited us to explore the facilities while we waited. Then… surprise! Our room was ready by 12PM and we even got a free upgrade to the Ocean King Sea View Room.
Influencer perks? Maybe 😎 (Just kidding 😂).
Thank you, Empire Brunei!
A buggy took us straight to our room—and wow, it was huge, luxurious, and the sea view was something else. 🌊
Lunch was at Pantai Restaurant. My son loves the mini burgers 🍔 while we enjoyed the ocean breeze and relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards, we wandered the lobby and took in the stunning architecture—those iconic golden pillars are a masterpiece. 🏛️
After prayers, we changed into sport/swimwear and headed to the Country Club. I jumped into a pickup basketball game with two lads from the UK while wifey and my son relaxed in the indoor pool and jacuzzi nearby. 🏀🛁
Later, we visited the Kids Club— My son splashed happily while we took a breather. Just before sunset, we found a quiet spot outside. Brunei’s sunset? Absolutely underrated. 🌅
To wrap up the day, we stayed in for dinner (room service KA dendeng 😅). FYI, you need to put down a deposit to order room service. We were way too tired to head out again anyway.
Rating?
Empire Brunei = ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7 stars, obviously 😂)
Truly a 10/10 experience—elegant, peaceful, and unforgettable.
Feeling recharged and grateful.
I booked this hotel primarily because they offered airport pick-up. While it turns out most hotels here provide this service, it was definitely a useful amenity. For first-time visitors, Brunei's public transport can be quite bewildering, and even a short taxi ride (just a few kilometers) booked through a ride-hailing app can be surprisingly pricey.
The hotel breakfast wasn't great; there were only a few limited options. The dining environment was also poor, as the restaurant was too small, forcing them to add extra tables in the lobby. Ironically, the hotel does have another restaurant with a much nicer ambiance, but the complimentary breakfast isn't served there.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of most major city attractions. However, you'd need a taxi to get to Gadong Night Market (buses are available but stop operating in the evening). Behind the hotel, there are several Chinese restaurants, so finding good food isn't a problem.
It fits the description of Brunei on the Internet...warm and friendly, but not very tourist-friendly. The hotel is not far from the airport, and the taxi costs 20 ven (it seems to be the same everywhere, not sure), the interior area is quite large, and the decoration is magnificent.
Very Good

RRose3The service at this hotel is truly excellent. The staff is incredibly nice. They have a lovely free breakfast, complimentary airport drop off, and really go out of their way to assist you.
The room leaves a bit to be desired. It was mostly clean. The walls were dirty. The AC was a bit broken so the room could get super hot. Monkeys also run wild on the property—FYI.
My only gripe with my stay was related to the cleaning service. I got in quite late the night before and was sleeping in. I was awoken around 10 am by the cleaning lady who was taking an extremely (I mean super loud) call in the hallway waking everyone up, including myself. Other ways I was awoken by housekeeping who comes around 10 am. A bit too early more me personally. I politely discussed this matter and it immediately stopped. But I would recommend informing staff about this in the future because my sleep was affected multiple days in a row. Other than that a wonderful stay.

AAmal SanifI stayed with my families here and booked the room via trip and hotel, the price per night for this hotel unfortunately doesn’t feel like worth it. I am hoping to see major renovation and cleaning, the hotel need massive upgrade, everything is too old, twin room is 2 probably super single bed or is actually 2 single bed, while other country at this rate has twin room with huge super single or double bed. The breakfast is just okay, with toast, cornflakes, some other menu like nasi lemak, noodles and rice porridge. This area has no access to public transport unless you walk towards the main road.. the extreme cleaning in the room, carpets need to change or clean with soap. The only good thing.. i haven’t seen any bed bugs.
JjoshuaelaineThe two rooms are actually three rooms, the middle one is an open kitchen and living room. The location is not good, except for the supporting commercial area downstairs, you must have a car when you go out. The staff is very nice, the only hotel where there is nothing wrong with the front desk to the room service. There is a free airport shuttle. Later, I heard that I needed to buy medicine, and I specially arranged for someone to drive us out without any cost. There are service points of large car rental companies, and travel services can also be booked with hotels. The commercial facilities are quite complete, and there will be locals eating a work meal at noon.
GGuest UserCheck in time is strictly at 2pm.
Bed a bit hard (For me)
Gym quite run down or under renovation.
However it's quite convenient as the supermarket is just downstairs.
