The sanitation is very good, the service is very good, I accidentally stained the sheets and they gave me a pad to prevent the sheets from getting dirty the next day

Dom Sanchio 1 is a charming rustic-style hotel with a fantastic location. It’s well-connected, with plenty of taxis, the train station, buses, and the iconic Tram 28 just around the corner. Victor and Tarsis were absolute gems—always ready with helpful recommendations and suggestions, which made our stay even better. That said, there are some downsides. Housekeeping was very minimal, limited mostly to towel changes and a quick bed tidy-up. Breakfast was repetitive and quite basic throughout our four-day stay. The biggest challenge, however, was the bathroom—it was incredibly small, probably the tiniest I’ve ever come across in a hotel or hostel, requiring you to walk sideways just to get in. Overall, it’s a convenient and welcoming place if location and friendly service matter most, but be prepared for the compact facilities and simple amenities.

Staff were amazing! From the front desk, to the restaurant staff. They were very warm & nice. I give 4 stars for cleanliness due to the fridge. Saw a couple of people’s hair in it that turned me off & felt funny using their fridge. Other than that, we had an amazing stay & would recommend this hotel! Everything is close by including plaza de comercio, rossio, george castle & the lift just to name a few. You can take 15E tram which is a stone’s throw away from the hotel to get to Belem District (Belem Tower & Jeronimo Monastery) if uber is not an option for you. We did uber going there & tried their tram going back. Lots of great restaurants that are walkable as well. Do not go to the grocery store by the hotel (Jin & Linda) everything is overpriced. Go to the nearby grocery store Continente Bom Dia. Facing the front of the hotel, go east then north. Its like a 2 minute walk.

The Hotel Anjos is a suitable option for short stays in Lisbon, especially if you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel with good transport links. The Anjos metro station is just a minute away, allowing us to navigate the city perfectly. However, it's important to note that it's not luxurious and has some areas for improvement. It's ideal for those who prioritize location and price over the comfort and amenities of a high-end hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean, of good quality, the staff were nice and helpful. It was in a very good location as well in Lisbon with easy access to the city. There are a variety of food options for breakfast. There is a lot of amenities as well to use all in good condition including a gym, pool, etc. And I really enjoy the Lisbon light show @Lumen Hotel.

The hotel is located on a hillside, which is very suitable for travelers who drive. The room is large and the kitchen is fully equipped. You can see the city view from the balcony of the room. The hotel service attitude is very good. The hotel front desk prepares cakes every night, which is very warm and thoughtful. The breakfast is also rich and the dining environment is very comfortable.

The hotel was clean. The room was small but perfectly adequate. The service was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast wasn't particularly extensive, but it offered a good selection of bread, fruit, eggs, bacon, and vegetables. There were plenty of sweet pastries. The coffee, however, left a little to be desired. On the plus side, the juices were good, and the breakfast service was also very friendly, which was a definite plus. I would recommend it.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location was near to one of the squares which had the Christmas market. But about a 30 min walk to the famous arc. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included - food offerings were simple with not much variety but tasted decent. Good enough just for some fuel to start the day.

The location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through Expedia. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.

I booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary) The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall. We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos) We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond. Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

This hotel is in a very good location near the airport you could take the metro red line from the airport then the yellow or green line to the closets metro stop to the hotel  or take the bus number 783 from/to the airport. The hotel is 4 star luxury comfortable beds and very good breakfast. I recommend for airport stays or even for longuer stays to visit Lisbon as very convenient to public transport

Important Considerations for Travelers: - If you book a room with breakfast included and have an early flight on your departure day, consider purchasing breakfast separately. The hotel does not offer a refund for unused breakfasts, and in my case, they neither refunded nor provided any form of compensation. This policy, though minor for the hotel, can leave a negative impression, as a small gesture of goodwill would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction. - The hotel does not provide bathrobes, which may be inconvenient for guests accustomed to using them after a shower. - Nighttime temperatures can be quite low, so it is advisable to turn on the air conditioning in advance to ensure a comfortable sleep. - The rooms are compact, making this hotel a better fit for solo travelers rather than couples or families. - While it is rated as a four-star property, the breakfast selection is quite simple and limited. Guests can expect pastries, a small assortment of sliced meats and cheeses (1-2 types each), yogurt, toppings, scrambled eggs, ciabatta, a modest selection of sliced fruit, juice, and some alcoholic beverages. Hotel Perk: - Unlimited coffee is available in the lounge, which is a nice bonus for guests. - The hotel is situated in a district neighboring the city center, offering convenient access. Guests can reach the embankment and historic center within a short walk. - Upon my arrival on the first night of check-in, I received a welcome kit that included complimentary access to the in-room bar. I’ve attached a photo of the bar below for reference.
