Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below:
During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car.
There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd.
The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono.
Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.
In the afternoon, the hotel provides complimentary welcome drinks like soft drinks and popsicles. Signing up with your email gets you a free gift (you can choose from six options); I picked the Awamori, which was a great choice. The complimentary promotional flyer also included a voucher for a free face mask and a 10% discount at the Ryukyu Onsen mask shop located right next door. There are lots of special perks and promotions available.
There's a counter downstairs at the hotel where you can book various activities, such as snorkeling.
The onsen area in the main building is smaller compared to the annex. A great feature is that the women's onsen in the annex includes a sauna. They also rotate the onsen bath scents weekly.
Breakfast offered a very generous and wide selection, even including ice cream. My only minor critique is that many options were carb-heavy (rice, noodles), which felt like a bit of a carb overload. The salad bar was also a bit limited, mostly cabbage.
Accessing the upper floors requires a room key, which enhances security. Ice machines and washing machines are also available and very convenient.
Sunset Beach is just a short walk across a bridge from the hotel.
The Chatan area also offers a free shuttle bus service, making it easy to visit Aeon Mall and catch a movie at the adjacent cinema.

The location is fantastic, right next to Tsubogawa Subway Station, and bus stops are also super convenient. The best part is Don Quijote (Donki) is right downstairs. It's incredibly well-stocked, and we could even buy fresh groceries to cook ourselves. The hotel offers a full set of kitchenware for rent, which truly let us indulge in Wagyu beef as much as we wanted. I would definitely come back here again if I have the chance.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly! The views from the 'sky floor' are fantastic; you can take great photos from the 17th floor and even catch a glimpse of the ocean! The most convenient aspect is that Kokusai Dori (International Street) is within walking distance. Along the way, you'll find plenty of highly-rated eateries, including ramen shops, yakiniku restaurants, and yakitori joints. You'll also find 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Family Mart convenience stores everywhere. While walking to Ryubo Department Store might be a *tad* further, it's definitely still manageable.
The hotel has a multi storey parking for hotel guest use, free of charge, but need to have a chop at front desk.
Also there is a Aeon nearby which is tax free. We buy a lot of souvenir there!
Hotel is located just next to American Village Depot Island. It is just across the street... and u will find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment there. Although the view is not good, there is a balcony in our room.
There is also a public bath (free of charge) as well...open till very late, many people go there at night.
Remember to go before sunset as the sea view is great and many people go there for photo taking.

The hotel boasts a superb location. A subway station is conveniently situated nearby, which was a plus even though we didn't use public transport on this trip (as we were traveling with elderly and children). Main Place and DFS are directly opposite, and both the Naha Art Museum and Museum are just a 5-minute walk away. Toys 'R' Us, a sports shopping center, and Muji are also just a short walk straight ahead. It's incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining! Oh, and the hotel's coffee is delicious – I enjoyed several cups every day.
Location: On the outskirts of Okinawa city on the edge of Kadena air base - not a problem if you are driving as it connects to the main routes, not far also from American Village
Parking: Ample free parking
Room: Spacious with a lot of light, but since it is close to the air base you can hear military planes taking off and landing through the morning
Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes
Facilities: Swimming pool on rooftop (water looked really cold) with a bar but the views were great, and welcome drinks were complimentary and available till late. Onsen on 2/F also opens till late

Location: The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from Naha Airport, costing around 2000 JPY. It's a 3-5 minute walk to Kokusai Dori. Just outside, to the right, you'll find the popular Nammuru Ramen, and to the left, a famous fried beef cutlet restaurant. Convenience stores are also very close by.
Facilities: The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and looks relatively new. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Service: The front desk staff speak good English. The room was cleaned daily, and two bottles of mineral water were provided.
Overall, it's a good choice and I would recommend it!

Fantastic location! It's perfect for a first-time visit to Naha as a transit point. From the airport, you can take the monorail to Makishi Station, and the hotel is just a 160-meter walk through a connected corridor. Below the corridor, there's a Ryukyu lion statue that marks the entrance to Kokusai Dori (International Street). Conveniently, there's both a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven right downstairs. The breakfast was incredibly varied and definitely offered great value for money. At the check-in counter on the second floor, they offer complimentary DHC sachet samples for guests, including makeup remover and lotion. The Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum is about 950 meters away, a roughly 10-minute walk. Naminoue Shrine is also very close by. My only gripe was that the beds were too small. I booked a twin room for myself and two children, and we had to push the beds together; otherwise, it felt like we'd fall off any minute. This was a stark contrast to the rooms at the two resort hotels we stayed in afterwards.
Perfect hotel for my getaway even just four days solo. Two different types of breakfast and I love the Japanese on. Easy to book massage and facial inside hotel even it’s typical hotel price. Indoor and outdoor pools perfect for changing weather. I’m so impressed with the simple thing like gardening with all types of plant. Also good for kids with all entertainments. The sauna and public bath are small but standard and practical.
Location wise, it’s next to the beach and park for morning workout if you don’t wanna stay in hotel. Taxi apps GO is fantastic to get me anywhere but still short distance reaching museum, American village, community onsen. So I’m greatly satisfied.
Next time I will book diving day experience as there are many agents around.

GGuest UserWe stayed in Resol Trinity the last night of our trip in Okinawa. It was a great stay as the room is very clean and staff at Front Desk are very nice. Especially after stayed in hotel Nikko the nights before, it was a big comparison even though Hotel Nikko is supposed to be 5 stars hotel and we laid quite a lot in the peak season, their staff there were pretty much not that friendly towards foreigners. And their English is quite hard to understand. But when we came to Resol Trinity, we felt warmly welcomed and it was a plus to our last night in Okinawa.
LLWX72Check in is in a self service concept where you have to queue to access a kiosk to key in your check in details to be issued keycards to your room. Then you pick up the amenities you need form different baskets in the small lobby which was quite difficult to manoeuver with luggages and many people trying to check in. Room was quite small space was tight with two single beds squashed in with very little walking space available. Toilet was automated and I like its functions.
GGuest UserReview of Onna Resort, Okinawa
About me:
I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip.
⸻
👍 What I liked:
• Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends.
• Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for.
• View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset.
• Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim.
• Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming.
• Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.
⸻
👎 What could be improved:
• Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed.
• Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff.
• Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask.
• Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience.
• Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook.
• Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient.
• No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight.
• Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak
GGuest UserANA was an amazing hotel, and our stay in Okinawa was absolutely wonderful! The amenities were top-notch and so relaxing, making our trip even more enjoyable. The area was beautiful, and the views from our room were breathtaking.
A highlight was PST Pizza, which was delicious and conveniently located right by the beach. The breakfast was really good and worth it. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again!
JJUpon arrival at the Southwest Grand Hotel, one is immediately struck by the calibre of design sensibilities that grace the establishment. Our room exhibited a masterful fusion of contemporary elegance and practical luxury, with thoughtfully appointed furnishings and refined finishes throughout. The intelligent spatial arrangement maximised both comfort and functionality, whilst the sophisticated colour palette created an atmosphere of understated opulence.
The hotel's facilities proved equally impressive, with particular mention deserved for the meticulously maintained swimming pool and comprehensively equipped fitness centre. These amenities demonstrated the property's unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction across all facets of the hospitality experience.
Breakfast service warrants special commendation, offering a veritable cornucopia of culinary delights that catered admirably to diverse palates. From impeccably executed Okinawa classics to inspired international offerings, the gastronomic range was nothing short of remarkable. The quality of ingredients was patently evident in each dish, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to sourcing premium produce.
The exclusive lounge service elevated our stay to extraordinary heights, providing a sanctuary of refined comfort accompanied by attentive yet discreet service. The curated selection of refreshments and light fare throughout the day ensured guests remained splendidly catered for between mealtimes—a thoughtful touch that exemplifies genuine hospitality.
Perhaps most noteworthy was the exceptional staff performance across all departments. Room service was delivered with flawless precision and genuine warmth, whilst the housekeeping team maintained immaculate standards with remarkable efficiency. The front-of-house personnel displayed particular resourcefulness in facilitating car park tickets, navigating potential complexities with ease and ensuring guests experienced no inconvenience whatsoever.
The Southwest Grand Hotel stands as a paragon of contemporary hospitality, where exceptional physical attributes are matched by equally impressive service standards. Their collective commitment to guest satisfaction ensures this establishment remains a distinguished choice for the discerning traveller.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is a bit out of the way from the bustling city center, with a taxi from the airport costing around 650 RMB. However, it's relatively close to Cape Manzamo and very convenient for Blue Cave diving, as the departure pier is right next door.
The surrounding coastline is predominantly dotted with resort hotels, offering very little in terms of commercial facilities. While there are several restaurant options, prices are generally on the higher side. A simple meal can easily cost 150 RMB per person, and for something nicer, expect to pay 300-400 RMB.
The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the service is excellent. Its biggest selling points are the swimming pool, private beach, and stunning sunsets. The buffet breakfast offered limited choices. The dinner buffet, priced at 6000 JPY per person, also had limited options, but it did feature a live singer. Coupled with the beautiful sunset views, it's really more about the ambiance and overall experience.
LLiulangjinxingHoshinoya's service was first-rate. I highly recommend the horseback riding, which was a unique experience. The infinity pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of snorkeling spots nearby. The kids had a blast, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was plentiful, and the surroundings were beautiful. The only downside was the Wi-Fi wasn't working, and they couldn't fix it. The hotel immediately offered to change rooms, but I didn't consider it due to my heavy luggage. Even if I did, the cost of cleaning wouldn't be cheap. They suggest better equipment management, and Ctrip did everything they could to accommodate. Thank you so much! This was the only time I wanted to give a negative review, but I changed my mind because of the excellent service at Hoshinoya. I maintain my high rating and recommend it!
CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge.
The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.
GGuest UserThe Hyatt Hotel is quite close to the Public Market, just a 5-minute walk from Makishi Station on the Naha Airport Monorail. They have a small swimming pool, but it closes quite early at 8 PM. Front desk service was just average; the staff's smiles felt rather generic. When we requested a slightly later check-out for the next day, we were abruptly informed there was no room for negotiation, and their tone was quite stiff. As we had a chartered car booked for the aquarium the following day, it served its purpose as a convenient stopover. However, it certainly didn't live up to the premium quality one typically expects from a Hyatt.
HhelloVLOcean view from room balcony and close to the cultural & F&B experience spot Gala. Direct access to beach and lovely to listen to waves to sleep and wake up.
Love the spaciousness in the room and amenities are good. Staff are helpful. Convenient transfer from hotel to airport. Unfortunately If not driving it’s hard to go to Yomitan town to get food or walk around because the estate was surrounded by fields and village houses and some graves.
