I enjoyed my stay here. It was very modern. I was surprised to see the welcome drinks available upon arrival. The free breakfast was tasty. The women’s restroom area was awesome. The location was a block away from the train, very convenient. Many shops and restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay there again.

The hotel boasts exclusive access to a large private beach, offering an elegant environment and spacious, bright rooms with fantastic sea views. The breakfast spread is diverse and delicious, and its close proximity to the airport makes it incredibly convenient. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very nice experience. The beds were comfy and they also gave us 3 pillows so we were able to make one of them a plushie. The shower room is always squeaky clean and the receptionist were so kind and friendly too. The breakfast is a little Japanese style so if you are used to American style, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you want to try Natto and Soba, don't bother going else, it's included in the hotel's breakfast menu. The location is very close to the airport and just 12 minutes away from the station, so the location is superb, not to mention if you rent a car, there are several parking lots in the area too.

The hotel had a great location, in between Sesoko island and Motobu Genki Village. Several restaurants and izakayas were in walking proximity, as well as convenience stores and even a bakery. I was in luck and got an apartment on the top floor with a view facing the ocean. The hotel was clean and my room well equipped. There is a breakfast and lunch spot right next door, and there is also a vending machine for various drinks just outside. The manager and the staff were oh so helpful and polite. Good to know - after 20:00 the main entrance is shut, but guests can still access the building through a side door with their room key. Super positive experience!

The Executive Room is truly great, I'll definitely be back next time! So many perks: afternoon tea, cocktails, lots of food, draft beer, sparkling wine – a must-try for anyone who enjoys a good drink! Highly recommended.

The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts.

Fantastic hotel. None of us, especially the kids, wants to leave the hotel at check-out. They upgrade my room from level 6 to 9 premium club. It paid off to stay in an ocean facing room. The room is clean and well maintained. Although this is not a new hotel (where lifts require cardkey) the rooms locks are cardkey based. Bed is a bit hard for me, but were just as hard for the other hotels i stayed there :^_^:. The breakfast spread is wide and tasty. The restaurant can get crowded over weekend (but you can still managed to find a seat). The beach lagoon is shallow and water is super clean and calm. There are big malls/outlet, restaurants and super markets within 5~10 min drive. It's around 20min drive to popular attractions like Okinawa world, Gandala valley, Chinen Park, Peace memorials, etc. There is also free performance at 6pm on Fri/Sat evening, which IMO is better than those at theme parks. The hotel gives 10% coupon for outlet and Iias mall (remember to use). Note parking is still charged, at 550y per night, which seems to be standard for resort hotels in Okinawan (?)

This might be the best hotel on Senagajima… hmm… the sunset is beautiful, the sea view is beautiful, and watching planes take off and land is also beautiful… but… the hotel's hot spring had a rotten, watery smell, the restroom on the first floor was dirty, there were ants in the room, and it was clear that many facilities hadn't even been wiped down in a long time. The staff were actually quite patient, and English communication was fine, but then there was an unexpected incident: I am very sure my wife and I are mindful of noise levels in public, yet during dinner, simply because I borrowed a phone, an elderly Japanese man at the next table, without any warning, yelled “shut up” like an animal. And the nearby staff member did nothing… If it weren't for considering international relations and being in a foreign country, I really would have wanted to have a vocabulary contest with that animal-like old man… To be honest, this was my first time encountering such an incident in Japan, but the hotel staff’s inaction completely ruined my impression of the place.

My stay here was excellent! The hotel environment was clean and tidy, and the room was comfortable and quiet with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The location is also very convenient. Overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit, highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is very convenient if you are in Naha on vacation, close to restaurants, a monorail station and the bus station. The services that the hotel provides are good, in particular the pyjamas and slippers they offer for free, and it is commendable their effort to have the bathrooms always impeccable. As a negative point, I must say that the mattresses are extremely hard.

AAnonymous UserVery near to the Asahibashi station & Lawson, it took less than 7-8 mins walk. Also near to Naha bus Terminal. You can walk to Prefectural office and down to Kokusai Dori shopping street for around 26 mins. Everything look exactly like pictures shown in the website. Check in early is available but it cost like 500 yen not sure if this is counted by how many hours early you wanna check in, i paid for 500yen to check in early. The women's floor have CCTV even in the bedding area(corridor), so is safe. At the women's floor, there's toilet & changing room/powder room, no shower room. If you want to take shower, you need to go down second floor where the onsen located. Inside will have a shower room. Overall stay is good, clean and affordable. Recommended for solo travelers.

JJingaoxianshengFacilities: First off, the large public bath on the 13th floor of the hotel is fantastic in my opinion! It was so refreshing to come back every day and have a good soak. Environment: Right outside, just across the pedestrian bridge, is the bus terminal, making it super convenient to get anywhere! Walk a little further and you'll reach the Asahibashi monorail station. Getting to Kokusai Street took about 10 minutes, so it was also very handy for buying souvenirs!

GGuest UserFuku-chan, Nicole and 2 cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone. The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car. The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well. The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures). I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body. We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga. It is an inn that I want to visit again.

GGuest UserPros: 1. The hotel is close to the Cape Manza scenic spot, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 2. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, including but not limited to banana boats, jet skis, an inflatable water park, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. If you're not planning on visiting the outer islands, you could easily spend a whole afternoon here. Cons: 1. The hotel is a bit old. The lobby has no air conditioning 🥵, and the room decor and furnishings feel dated. The shower pressure in the bathroom 🚿 isn't great either. 2. The outdoor pool closes at 6 PM, and the beach only stays open until 5 PM. I won't even mention other times, but Okinawa right now is scorching hot and sunny. The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said). But then you only get to play for a short while before you have to leave!! 😅

Kkelvin.likes.cheeseUnexpectedly Perfect Stay at Southwest Grand Hotel! 🌟 We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel. 🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results! 🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them! 📍 Prime Location Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

AAnonymous UserThis was my second stay at this hotel, and it's definitely one I'd recommend. However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. First off, the service is just okay. Some staff members are quite lazy and have a bad attitude – you have to ask them three times before they do anything. Also, when I was checking in, I had my hands full with bags and a suitcase, and they just stood there watching. They didn't offer any help at all, and then asked me to sign something. My phone was in a bag, so if they had just helped me with my luggage, I could have freed up a hand to sign. Secondly, the soundproofing is terrible. I could hear every word from the room next door as if they were speaking right beside me! Also, many people have mentioned that the rooms are too bright, and it's true. The lights from outside shine directly in at night, mainly because the curtains are too thin. On the positive side, the beach is beautiful, with some of the best sand in Onna Village. The hotel's outdoor public areas are also aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful plant and flower arrangements. Breakfast offers an average variety, but the taste is decent. There's a fishing port nearby, and as soon as you step out, you'll find tons of restaurants with plenty of delicious food. It's a top choice in Onna Village. If you're bothered by older properties, you might want to reconsider, as this hotel is over 50 years old. However, it's very well-maintained! Plus, the rooms don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so there's less dust. Overall, it's my first choice for a stay in Onna Village. If you prioritize the room and interior design, you could choose the Hotel Monterey next door – its interiors are much better, but its beach is very average. Choose Hotel Monterey if you prioritize the room; choose here if you prioritize the beach.

GGuest UserThe ocean view is stunning, and the architecture is beautiful. The walls resemble a star-like structure, and the light reflected on the ground changes with the changing sunlight, which is beautiful. The sunset is also stunning. The service is average, and the experience is just average.

GGraceLcmWe arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about. However, the service was quite disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise. What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary. After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had. Just sharing our experience.

CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge. The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people. The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied. Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.
