The service staff is what made this place special. They are always smiley, willing to help and make the resort very comfortable for guests.
The food is impressive especially the breakfast, high tea and the Stupa restaurant. Food presentation is beautiful, speaks a lot about the culture behind this resort.
Before I came to the resort, I was so worried about mosquitoes, I was pleasantly surprised that the resort controlled the mosquitoes well, it's important because it would mean whether the guests can enjoy being outdoors, since many facilities are open air.
Only because of the location of the hotel to the point of the photos of Borobodur and the valley. Pricing is inadequate. If on the peak day you paid a luxury with the possibility of free cancellation or change the date of arrival, then even if you change the date in which there is no loading and the price is three times lower, then prepare to pay another third of the value of the usual price... breakfast in the form of Swedish Don't wait for the table either... such a financial approach is very disappointing. Food in the restaurant is quite edible, pleasant swimming pool, friendly staff. If you want to get on the morning photo of Borobodur, you can boldly choose a more budget option even if it is a little further.
The hotel and its facilities are so complete that you can just enjoy your stay within the hotel itself. Breakfast is comprehensive, parking is spacious, and the rooms are clean. However, the check-in process was slow, and our room wasn't ready until 3:30 PM. I booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready until 4:30 PM. When we finally received the keys, we found that the pillows didn't have pillowcases, with the excuse given that they weren't available yet. There was also no bath mat, even though the keys had already been handed over. Furthermore, there were still items left behind by the previous guest in the room.
Clean and spacious room, slightly better than mercure as it has extra tissues and towels. Breakfast spread was good, but location was not that great, nothing much surrounding it walking distance. Need to use car to go somewhere.its near the big mosque.

love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices.
all is excellent.
This hotel is amazing! From the views to the facilities and cleanliness. It's highly recommended for family trips. My kids absolutely loved this hotel and wanted to stay for 4 more days, that's how comfortable it was for them. They just wanted to jump in and play all day long! đ€Ł

__evas_Super super great location, close to Lawang Sewu, a mall, and a bus station. A cathedral and an army museum are within walking distance (tho you can skip the museuk tbh). Staffs are great, very polite, helpful, and quick to offer solutions. Quite loyal with the food and they provide water in the corridors. With that price, ofc there will be some setbacks, amenities are minimal, no fridge, no hair dryer (you can ask them directly), but they do provide water bottle everyday. Overall a great service and a pleasant stay

I personally don't like the parking location because it's quite narrow and initially quite confusing.
I also dislike the breakfast because the food options are very few. maybe for the next order I will not include breakfast.

Starting from the pre-departure service when the staff member contacted me personally to assist our reservation for 16 peopleâ especially when I asked their assistance to arrange our breakfast mode to be made at 2AM due to our specific agenda. When we have arrived at the Abriki Village, they were very responsive in accommodating our reservation by making the check-in process hazzle-free. The staff members were also really acommodating our needs, showcasing a true-identity of Javanese welcoming services.
The Villa is actually even BETTER than the pictures. The rooms are very clean and spacious, especially the Three-Bedroom Villa and the Two-Bedroom Villa. The in-room and out-room facilities work properly without any issues. Our family also had no issues on the wifi provided as it can be accessed in all the area of the Villa.
As for the breakfast, even though the breakfast menu are quite standard as it serves the basic Indonesian buffet style, yet our family really enjoyed the food and beverages provided.
The location for the Villa is also convenient as itâs located 5 minutes from Alun-alun of Wonosobo City and 40-50 minutes to reach Puncak Sikunir Dieng.
For me personally, this villa deserves a 5-star due to its excellent services, facilities, and locations.
However, there are still rooms of improvement, such as additional services like Netflix for each room, more varieties of breakfast option, and the balcony/terrace of 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom villaâs entrance that should have a roof that would cover us from the rain when entering the villa.
Nevertheless, if I had chance to go back to Dieng, Wonosobo, I would CERTAINLY BE DELIGHTED to stay again at the Abriki Village again. Thatâs for sure.

I highlighted to him that there was no view at all in my room; the mirror was stained and the tap water splashing when turned on. He immediately came to my room and gave options for a change. He swapped my room on the same floor with a nice view on the second day for the rest of my stay.
The breakfast every morning was a good spread and the staff team worked well in harmony.

Iimron yusufIn terms of atmosphere, this hotel actually met our expectations quite well, especially as we prefer a place that is not too crowded, with a natural tropical landscape and an ethnic-rustic architectural style. The room size was also quite spacious, noticeably larger than a typical hotel room. Another plus point was the Smart TV, which made the children happy as they could watch Netflix comfortably.
However, we were rather disappointed with the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. There was a strong unpleasant odor, similar to a septic tank smell, coming from the toilet/WC area, which was quite disturbing and affected our comfort during the stay. The bathroom also seemed poorly maintained, as seen from the cracked/chipped toilet water tank. In addition, the bathroom ceiling looked untidy and appeared to be sagging on one side.
Another issue that bothered us was the presence of many large black ants inside the room, especially around food. The swimming pool was also not very comfortable, as the chlorine level seemed too high, causing irritation to the eyes and nose when exposed to the water.
As for the restaurant, the food variety was rather limited. What surprised us even more was that omelets or eggs were limited to one portion per guest.
Overall, we believe this hotel has good potential in terms of atmosphere, concept, and room size. However, for a 3-star boutique hotel with a rate of around IDR 900,000 per night, the condition of the facilities and the overall stay experience did not feel proportionate. In our opinion, the hotel is somewhat overpriced.
AAnonymous UserThis is always my first choice for me whenever I travel to solo. I love the cleanliness and fast check in process. However the parking space is very limited but they have extra space across the road right in front of the hotel.
