"This hotel comes highly recommended, the location is great and opposite the hotel. It has a beautiful park, the hotel gym and restaurant are great features and the breakfast style buffet, offered many options. I personally walked from the Milton Keynes train station, so I got to see many places to explore, shop, eat, drink. It took around 30 minutes to walk from the station, however the route is on an incline, so maybe not the greatest of ideas, if people have lots of luggage, mobility issues ect, to use this transport method. The hotel is very stunning and amazing value for money."

"We returned to Escapades as a family and once again loved the overall experience. The vibe is fantastic, the swimming pool is a real highlight, and the accommodation is stylish and comfortable. That said, the restaurant service could use a little fine tuning. We had a vegan in our party who ordered the vegan roast in The Gallery, as listed on the menu. Unfortunately, it was initially served with a large Yorkshire pudding, non vegan gravy, and vegetables that had not been separated from the buttered options served to the rest of the table. On a positive note, the roast beef was excellent. The vegan dish was taken away and corrected quickly, which we appreciated. Overall, a great stay with just a small area for improvement in the dining experience."

"Had a great stay on this wonderful private island. Perfect for couples. Splurge on the Temple Terrace Rooms if it is within your budget. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected as the buildings are from days of old, though nicely restored and maintained. Enjoyed our meals and the drinks at the bar. Also had lovely hour out on the Thames with the rented boat that easily accomodates 6 people. Such an oasis of quiet and luxury. Very close to the Michelin fine dining village of Bray. I would return without hesitation."

"Stayed an additional night in room 155, after two nights in 266. Great new room, with new shower. Very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We did not eat at the hotel but would definitely recommend as a little getaway. Great location and scenery."

"From start to finish we had an excellent experience at this hotel. Check in was super quick and easy and the hotel facilities were excellent and convenient. The highlight for us was the service we received by Lucy & Tetiana at breakfast, they were very chatty and polite and had genuine time for all the customers and showes is around all the breakfast options.The breakfast was superb! the best I have ever had as a traveller with plenty of choice and all very tasty. Our family room was spacious and was clean and very comfortable with plenty of amenities. Located centrally, right next to a trendy square which offers great food and drink options. The moment I entered the lobby, I was struck by how beautiful and serene it was. It smelled incredible, it looked immaculate, and the ambiance was calm, luxurious, and welcoming. The reception team welcomed me with such genuine warmth and professionalism. Check-in took less than two minutes, and I was made to feel instantly valued and at home. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. My room was an absolute dream. I wish I could give you a tour of it. It was spotless beyond words - you could see the attention to detail in every corner. The design was modern, elegant, and tastefully done, with soft warm lighting that created such a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was pure heaven. The linens were crisp, fresh, and soft, the pillows were plush and perfect, and the mattress was the kind you sink into and never want to leave. I had the deepest, most peaceful sleep I have had in months. It was completely silent, dark, and tranquil. Absolute bliss. The amenities were outstanding. Everything was high quality, thoughtfully placed, and more than I expected. The bathroom was sparkling clean, luxurious, and felt like a private spa. Great water pressure, fluffy towels, lovely toiletries, and that perfect level of cleanliness that makes you feel truly comfortable. But what truly elevates a good hotel to a great hotel is the people, and here, the team is exceptional. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, respectful, and genuinely happy to help. They anticipate your needs before you even ask. They smile, they listen, they care. That level of hospitality cannot be taught, it comes from the heart. They made my short one-night stay feel incredibly personal and special. Breakfast the next morning, the departure, the overall organization, everything flowed so perfectly. I left feeling rested, recharged, and genuinely grateful. "Overall nice hotel. The thing that I liked a lot straight away is that aroma - i think they use some really nice professional aromas there. The room was clean and spacious 10/10 for the room. Great reception staff. People are really nice there. The let down for us was non-working jacuzzi and freezing pool..(they had a boiler.broken unfortunately). Steamroll was amazingly hot however. Overall good stay. Bear in mind if you are not driving, you would be a bit stuck with getting any extra bits you might need for the evening."

"Our stay was Absolutely amazing ! The overall service from check in to check out was fantastic. The hotel itself was immaculate in all aspects. A stunning decor that’s inviting, spacious areas & our room was chic, roomy, all necessities & overall clean. The staff through out our stay were beyond exceptional ! Michelle at reception with a warm inviting welcoming & gave us every detail we needed to know about our stay. Supervisor Sam at the bar again such a warm welcoming & very helpful, Lola our server was delightful & looked after us. She genuinely cared if we were happy during our meals. Bar/ res manager Wesley was just exceptional, his professional attitude, caring character & gave his time to ensure we were happy. He went above & beyond to for us & made our anniversary that little bit more special. Thank you to all the staff as each & everyone of you made our stay amazing. Can’t wait to book our next stay !"
