"Traveling with a pet, this place was perfect. The hotel environment is lovely, and the room was spacious – my cat absolutely loved it and felt very relaxed. The room was well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. The TV's screen mirroring was convenient, and the tea area was very roomy. There's a pedestrian street nearby, making dining very easy, and a large supermarket for all your needs. It was an excellent pet-friendly stay.

"Located in the heart of the old city, the Shihe Hotel occupies a vast area with an extravagantly large parking lot. Staying here feels like stepping back into the 1990s municipal government guesthouse; a plaque at the entrance even reads ”Shihe Hotel Militia Company,” though I forgot to take a picture, which gives you an idea of the hotel's former prestige. Although it's a three-star hotel, it lives up to its reputation as a long-established hotel. The location is excellent, and the facilities are still complete, though a bit dated. However, the price-performance ratio is quite high; the room rate is reasonable, and parking is convenient and free. It would be even better if breakfast were included. Next door, there's a large sports field open to the public, where many people run, play ball, and exercise. The nearby Shihe Park is also very lively, making it very convenient for sightseeing in Xinyang."

"I stayed here before and it was pretty good, so I chose it again. But it felt totally wrong this time. No one greeted me when I entered the hotel. There were several people at the front desk, and no one was checking in. No one looked up, and no one greeted me. The room was not cleaned properly, and there were things left by guests on the floor. No one took care of my luggage when I checked out. I had to pick up the car, move it, load it, and return it by myself. No one cared about it. The two front desk staff didn't even say hello, and they didn't help me even if they were busy. The overall feeling was cold, and I didn't feel at home. I was very disappointed."

A stay beyond expectations! The room hygiene is really good, clean and tidy. The sheets are very clean! The scenery outside the window is also refreshing. The decoration in the house is very warm and really relaxing. Fully equipped, full experience! ! ! The boss is also very enthusiastic, amiable and the service is very thoughtful. Guest UserThe room arranged for me at the front desk was the opposite of the room I asked for when I booked the room. Saying that you don't need to rely on the elevator to have a high floor room to be quiet, it is all the opposite. It is estimated that the business is good during the festival, so it is so hospitality. The room still has a smell, like the smell of the hotel box that has not been cleaned for a long time, smelling cough. Thinking about sleeping for one night, it will be fine. The soundproofing of the room is still poor. The TV sound lasts until 5 am. I don't know if it is next door or upstairs. I looked at it, and the room was set almost a month in advance, which was dozens of dollars cheaper than the price set by the room on the day of **. This is a photo of the room fan. The most satisfying thing is that the bath water is quite powerful for you, this is the only place that is most satisfied.

The facilities and breakfast are worth the price of just over 200 yuan; the hot dry noodles at breakfast are delicious. Because it's located by the highway, it's a bit noisy. Although the room was requested to be non-smoking, there was still a smoky smell when I first entered.

There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself also has an outdoor restaurant, making dining quite convenient. Parking is available in both surface and underground parking lots, with entrances and exits adjacent to each other, allowing for flexible selection. Personally, I found the surface parking more convenient, as it's seamlessly integrated with the elevators and lobby.

Guest UserIt really exceeded my expectations, the price-performance ratio is really high. I'm a local, and I'm always amazed at how much cheaper hotels are back home. Hotels outside cost 200-300 yuan a night, and the room is only half the size of this one, and it's always run-down. I've never booked a hotel better than this one while traveling so many times, and it's much more expensive. I didn't want to leave. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective at heating; it warmed up very slowly. However, I'm very satisfied with the free room upgrade the hotel gave me 😌 and the projector too!
