"Overall - an absolutely magical experience, like stepping into a fairytale, we absolutely LOVED our stay here, it was such an unforgettable experience! Breakfast with the giraffes was absolutely incredible, such a unique and surreal experience! One tip: if you want a table right by the window, make sure to arrive BEFORE 6:30 AM or LATER around 9:00–9:30 AM when it gets less crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good with an amazing variety of delicious food to suit every taste. You can also visit the restaurant during specific hours for lunch and dinner. During dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful live show with music and performers. And if you miss the restaurant's serving hours, there are other dining options around the resort. The entire hotel and wildlife park are beautiful and so much fun to explore! You can get around on foot or use the convenient shuttle service. There are so many different animals to see, along with plenty of interactive experiences. We especially loved the area with the adorable little budgies absolutely everywhere 🦜 Lemurs roam freely around the grounds and there are butterflies and dragonflies everywhere. It feels like a little paradise, full of life and harmony with nature. The hotel itself was also wonderful and very clean. Our room had a jacuzzi and we were welcomed with lots of lovely edible gifts. At check-out, we even received a cute little plush giraffe as a souvenir! Very thoughtful touches! The staff were absolutely amazing – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They assisted us with our luggage and patiently answered all our questions. A very special thank you to our concierge Liang, who was always available on WeChat, responded almost instantly, and helped us with absolutely everything. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. Another nice little bonus: each guest receives a free QR code to collect a complimentary bag of carrots to feed the animals. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: We noticed that the owls appeared to be tethered (?) and remained in the same spot which was quite sad to see. We really hope their welfare is being carefully considered. Also I personally think the experience would be even more magical without the music playing through speakers around the wildlife park. In such a beautiful natural environment, it would be wonderful to simply enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I also wonder whether the constant music might be stressful for some of the animals. Apart from these small concerns, we truly had an amazing time! The whole place feels like a dream, and you can see how much thought has gone into creating a special experience for guests. "A huge thank you to all the hotel staff! During our stay, my daughter had an unexpected accident and was injured. The staff responded immediately and helped us quickly and efficiently. Everyone was incredibly kind, caring, and responsible, and they continued to check on my daughter afterward. Their support made us feel safe and well cared for during a stressful situation. I truly appreciate everything they did for us. This is a hotel with wonderful, warm-hearted staff. The front desk staff were consistently described as warm, enthusiastic, and helpful, often going out of their way to assist with luggage or offer room upgrades . The hotel also offers convenient amenities like a self-service laundry room and a delivery robot that brings food straight to your door, which is a fun and practical touch . The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, providing a good night's rest after a long day of walking . However, it is worth noting that some rooms are on the smaller side, and a few guests have mentioned that the facilities show slight signs of wear and tear (like minor rust on fixtures) . The Verdict: If you want a clean, comfortable, and incredibly convenient base for a Hangzhou trip focused on sightseeing and food, Haoyi Hotel is a fantastic value. Just be prepared for compact rooms and book a quieter room away from the elevator if you are a light sleeper . I would happily stay here again for the location and staff alone."

"Great hotel with an excellent location right by the West Lake. The room was very clean, though the mobile signal was a bit weak unless connected to the Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with fully equipped facilities, including a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, which was super convenient. We got caught in the rain outside and our clothes got soaked, so it was great to be able to wash and dry them right when we got back."

"I came here for the theater festival and was originally torn between staying inside or outside the scenic area. After staying at this guesthouse for one night, I found it super convenient. It's a chain property, and this particular branch (No. 16 Jia A) is very centrally located. With a bridge and river right beside it, the window looked out over classic Jiangnan water town scenery, and there was a performance venue right next door. Although the room wasn't large, it was clean and tidy. The breakfast was also generous, offering stir-fried dishes as well—very hearty and authentic."

The hotel is truly clean and new, exactly as shown in the pictures. It seems there are many new hotels popping up in this city, and I can easily say this is one of the best 4-star options available. The hotel seems to have been converted from an older Hanting or all seasons hotel, and the lobby is very clean. There's also a laundry room and gym on the basement level. The room facilities are a bit dated, and the lighting is a little dim. Even though there are 'no smoking' signs, there's still a faint smell of smoke, which is probably due to inconsiderate guests. However, the service is spot on, especially for this price point – absolutely no complaints there."

"In the last century, whenever I visited Hangzhou, I almost always stayed at Xiling Hotel, likely due to its convenient transportation, and the fact that Xihu State Guest House (Liuzhuang) and Wangzhuang were rarely open to the public. Visiting Liuzhuang usually meant attending banquets, and I was particularly impressed by their famous Beggar's Chicken (wrapped in yellow clay and lotus leaves). Later on, even when I stayed at Wangzhuang, I never got to taste that kind of Beggar's Chicken, which always left a little regret in my heart. This time, for my spouse's birthday, I deliberately arranged a stay at the Xihu State Guest House, largely to finally taste that Beggar's Chicken. Learning of this, the hotel's Zihu Restaurant recommended their ”Lotus Leaf Chicken” to us. Although it lacked the yellow clay, it still tasted quite good. So, on the first day we had the Lotus Leaf Chicken, and on the second day, West Lake Fish in Vinegar Gravy, along with the complimentary birthday cake and birthday noodles provided by your esteemed hotel—it was all simply perfection. Thank you to your hotel for the warm hospitality and the beautiful scenery. This time in Hangzhou, it was the first time we never stepped outside the hotel gates. We came straight from the train station to the hotel, and went straight from the hotel back to the train station, dedicating all our time to Liuyuan. We successfully completed our birthday celebration event, and I want to thank all the staff—especially Chef Yao at Zihu Restaurant, who enthusiastically initiated a friendly chat. That feeling of being better than family was wonderful and particularly precious in today's money-driven era. I also want to thank the two staff members at afternoon tea (on the afternoon of the 19th). Knowing it was my spouse's birthday and that only two people could come for tea, which meant our daughter had to stay behind in the room alone, they immediately invited our daughter to join us for tea. They showed great empathy and understanding, not rigidly bound by dogmatic rules. Thank you very much. I hope to visit again next time. By the way, the showerhead in room 2112 was draining poorly, so we could only use the hand-held spray, and the leftmost hot water tap produced no hot water no matter how long it ran—it might be connected backward, so please kindly check and repair it. "Outstanding Service and Exceptional Hospitality! We had to make a last-minute booking at midnight while in transit through Ningbo. Upon arriving well past midnight feeling completely worn out, we were greeted by an amazingly understanding and welcoming front desk staff. They processed our check-in quickly so we could get straight to sleep, and they even kindly offered us a complimentary late check-out to make up for our late arrival. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the automated smart curtains were a great modern touchy. To top it off, the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay and couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommended!"
