"Big thanks to Meng from the front desk and all the other friendly staff! The hotel even upgraded my room to one with a balcony. Stepping out, I could take in both the city skyline and the canal views. It's the plum rain season, and seeing Jiaxing through the drizzle gave it a unique, classic Jiangnan charm. And to top it off, I absolutely loved the Huangbaobao Guizhou street hotpot downstairs at the hotel – completely exceeded my expectations! The quality of the beef and the authentic Guizhou ingredients had me going back for a second round! What, you think I'm getting off-topic?"

"A family trip, we stayed at Hao Hostel. This hotel truly matches its pictures and offers great value, especially considering it's located right in the scenic area! 📍Location: The hotel is right on the Southern Song Imperial Street pedestrian area. A few minutes' walk brings you to nearby Hefang Street, Leifeng Pagoda, Drum Tower, snack streets, Hu Xueyan's former residence, West Lake, Phoenix Mosque, and Deshou Palace. There's also a Lawson convenience store, tea houses, coffee shops, Starbucks, and a Hao Xiang Lai supermarket with various eateries near Metro Exit C – all quite affordable! For those arriving by taxi or driving: Set your GPS to the hotel's back entrance – Guangfu Road No. 57, or Hao Hostel parking lot! Metro 🚇: A 4-6 minute walk to Ding'an Road Exit D/C [Strongly recommended]! 🛏️ Room: The hotel rooms are cozy and clean. It's been quite hot in Hangzhou recently, so the room felt a bit stuffy. Rooms come with bottled water, coffee, and tea bags. You can see a nice view from the window – a villa area across the way offers a unique charm. 💁 Service: The front desk staff were very warm and friendly. We arrived early before check-in time, and they kindly extended our check-out by 2 PM for free. If a room is available, you can check in early; otherwise, they offer complimentary luggage storage. Overall, the value for money is quite high. There's a lobby where you can chat, and it also has a coffee machine and tea bags. If you're visiting Hangzhou, you can confidently book this place. Plus, if you want to explore more after checking out, the hotel offers free luggage storage. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! ✨ Amenities: - 1st floor provides free water dispensers (cold/hot), a coffee machine, and an ice maker. - 1st floor also has 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, 2 treadmills, and 1 garment steamer. 📍 Attractions: - West Lake: 26-minute walk / 1 metro stop (Longxiang Bridge Exit C) - Hu Xueyan's Former Residence: 16-minute walk - Deshou Palace: 20 minutes from the hotel - i77: 27-minute walk / Metro Line 1, 3 minutes - Intime Department Store: 12-minute walk - Lingyin Temple Bus Terminal: 38 minutes – The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Bus No. 7 stop. - Phoenix Mosque: Turn right upon exiting the hotel. - Prince Bay Park Bus No. 4: 36 minutes – 13-minute walk to the bus stop. - Qingshan Lake: Metro Line 1 to Wulin Square, then transfer to Line 3 to Lvting Road, then transfer to Line 16. - Wangweishan Mountain: Approximately 1 hour. 📍 Stations: - Hangzhou Station: Metro Line 1, 3 minutes. - Hangzhou East Station: Metro Line 1, 17 minutes. - Hangzhou West Station: Metro Line 1 to West Lake Cultural Plaza, then transfer to Metro Line 19, 35 minutes. - Xiaoshan Airport: Metro Line 1 to West Lake Cultural Plaza, then transfer to Metro Line 19, 29 minutes. "We were upgraded to a river view room for free. The front desk also proactively gave us breakfast vouchers for our child when we checked in. The river view from the room was absolutely stunning, especially on a rainy day – watching the boats glide on the river was incredibly relaxing. For breakfast, I recommend going early to snag a window seat in the restaurant. The hotel is also very close to Yaolin Road, a popular 'influencer street'. In the evenings, around 7 pm, there's a small night market and even a public square dance right below the hotel, which gives it a lovely, vibrant local feel. Thumbs up!"

"Our stay was fantastic! Special thanks to Ms. Zhan at the front desk for her thoughtful service and help during check-in. She upgraded our room when possible and gave us recommendations for evening activities. What really stood out was when she offered us two warm, yes, warm walnut cookies – they were so comforting and delicious, like coming home, especially since we were a bit hungry! We extended our stay for another night, and Ms. Jia at the front desk was equally warm and attentive. The entire hotel, from its facilities to its soft services, feels grand and well-designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices. I also appreciate their strong commitment to environmental protection, with trash cans that have ditched plastic bags – excellent!"

The room has a charming, antique feel with a distinctive incense aroma, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. There's even a calligraphy experience available in the room. The mattress is very comfortable, and everything is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and the pastries were particularly delicious. I also want to thank the hotel staff for providing me with an extra complimentary breakfast.

Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

The three-day and two-night trip was contacted by the handsome butler Xiao Yin on WeChat one day in advance to recommend nearby restaurants and places to visit. We set off early the next day. The May Day hotel room was full and had not been cleaned yet. We could get the room card after dinner. The butler service was really nice. He helped with the luggage and parked the car. The shuttle bus personally sent us to the room. Along the way, he briefly introduced the location of the park and the location of the hot spring. The car was parked very close to the room. The fruit and drinks in the small refrigerator in the room were unlimited and free. He also gave my daughter a park doll. My daughter said she liked rafting, and Xiao Yin also gave her a rafting ticket~ In short, the service was very attentive. Next to the hotel is the Jialebi Amusement Park. When checking in, you need to scan your face. When entering and exiting the amusement park, you need to scan your face. There is a special passage for hotel guests. There are many amusement facilities inside, and there are many exciting projects, such as the big pendulum, pirate ship, roller coaster, and bungee jumping. I have to mention that my father was not feeling well on the first day. At 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening, the housekeeper Xiao Yin accompanied us to the hospital after work. It was really considerate. I brought my parents and daughter to stay. The old one was not feeling well, and the young one had to be dragged to the hospital together. It was really much better to have someone to help. There was no thunder in the park. The three performances after 19 o'clock in the evening must be seen. The iron flower is really shocking. I have seen many iron flowers, but this one is really unique~ I give a super five-star praise to the handsome and careful Xiao Yin!

We took a room with a large bed and a children's room, but there were three adults, I calmly lay down on this bed with a height of 177, which was nice. The room is really like in the picture, plus a huge private terrace and a balcony with a beautiful view added impressions, because on this whole floor was only our room and the same on the other side. But of course the best thing about this hotel is the animals, they are incredible, they don't live like in a circus in a cage, they walk. Breakfast with giraffes is really incredible, but not only they are beautiful there, I strongly advise you to study the map and go to the rest of the animals, we were most impressed by ostriches, meerkats and raccoons. About the service, some staff in the hotel spoke English, which is very unusual for China. We had some difficulties with the room, but they helped us solve the problem, cheered us up with some gifts and we were able to enjoy this hotel. We also additionally asked to clean the room, after that everything really became clean. I recommend, the impressions of the animals and the rooms were incredible!

InterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway. The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching. With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

This is a long-standing local five-star hotel. Before my stay, I was debating whether to choose the Atour next door, but after checking in, I was extremely satisfied. I chose the Mercure on Fengqi Road for my trip to Hangzhou, and overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. It's very close to the subway station, so getting to West Lake and Hubin for shopping was a breeze. The room was meticulously cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The staff, especially Wanwan, were incredibly efficient and responsive whenever I had an issue. The breakfast selection was sufficient to fill me up and was enjoyable. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

I booked two rooms this time. The suite was quite good, very spacious, and although the facilities were a bit old, they were well-maintained. The king room, however, was very ordinary. The lighting was poor, the room was stuffy, and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted manually. The bathroom was incredibly cramped. The room service was good. Housekeeping did a thorough and meticulous job. When we called for amenities, they were delivered very quickly, and their response was prompt. Dining, though, was a mixed bag. The buffet restaurant had excellent service, especially from Jiang Qinqin. My family raved about her warm and attentive service every day, insisting I mention her by name. She genuinely went out of her way for the guests. On the other hand, choosing the hotel's in-house Japanese restaurant for our first dinner was arguably the biggest blunder of the entire trip. There were only two or three tables occupied that day, yet the food service was incredibly slow. After we urged them twice, the server completely lost it, burst into tears, and asked why we were rushing her. She then declared she was quitting the next day, got into an argument with us, and even boasted that she was the highest-ranking person there and we could complain all we wanted! I truly don't understand how a single hotel can have both an excellent restaurant supervisor and a restaurant manager who goes crazy and yells at guests. The hiring standards of this hotel are truly astonishing. After this experience, I can only say I will try to avoid Pan Pacific hotels in the future. The baseline is just too low; I can't put up with that kind of treatment.
