A bit far away from train station but these is bus stop at door step. You can cook food in the room which is a big thumb up. Big super market at the opposite of the road. But cleanliness is a big concern I used the spear pillow and quilt from the closet has blood stain and yellow stain on them.

A relatively new B&B, a small building with 6-7 rooms on 3 floors, clean and sanitary, meeting basic accommodation requirements. Kamogawa Park is just outside the alley, and there are buses nearby, making it convenient to get to Zhiyuan, Kiyomizu Temple, Sanningzaka Ninenzaka, Kodaiji Temple, and Yasaka Shrine. You can also take a bus to Kinkakuji Temple.

This was such a nice hotel! Everything was perfectly clean, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. I think this is the nicest place I have stayed in recently. I was glad that everything was clean and well-organized. They tell you everything you need to know in a little folder in your room. They also answered my questions very quickly and kindly. The best parts for me were that the heating and water heater worked, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and they explained everything I was curious about in detail in the folder, on signs, or in email communications. One thing I didn't know until I got here is that there is a shared microwave, which is nice when you get food from the convenience store.

Loved this cozy and delightful capsule hostel. It’s just north of Nijo Castle and about a 15 min walk to the closest subway station. (Local not a JR Station) It’s about a 15 min walk from the Kyoto Palace and Gardens - just continue down the main road that fronts the premises. The deluxe cabin rooms are tucked away in the Basement level for additional quiet and privacy. There are multiple floors with capsule beds and shared bathroom facilities. There’s a laundry and common room on the 6th floor. Guests can grab all their essentials from the Family Mart or 7-Eleven just a 3 mins stroll from the front door. They also have ATMs and copying facilities. The staff are helpful and can speak reasonably good English. There is a wall of maps for major attractions close by. Loved the experience and will gladly recommend and return

FUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto. I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops. If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness. The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy. Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up! P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate. It was a little difficult that there was no bathroom in the room, but there was a sink, so it was somewhat comfortable, and the bed was wide, so it was really nice! The room and shower facilities were clean, so I was satisfied with the accommodation. The quick turnaround area, baggage storage, and shower facilities are all on the basement floor. There is a cafe-like space on the first floor that serves water, coffee, and snacks, so it was nice to rest comfortably!

It's similar to a Japanese economy hotel. It's quite small. It's very close to JR Nijo Station, and you can see it when you get out of the station. It is also very close to the subway station. There is a bakery, restaurant, and convenience store at the door, which is super convenient. This station is also beautiful, with cherry trees at the entrance of the station. Close to Nijo Castle, about 10 minutes on foot to Nijo Castle.

Location: Near the Shichijo subway station. In a quiet residential area, right near the Kyoto Museum and Sanjusangendo Temple. Amenities: All appliances are brand new. Kitchen utensils are included. A washing machine is super convenient, solving the laundry problem, freeing your hands. It also has a spin dryer, making dry cleaning a breeze. Trash cans are provided in the shower, kitchen, and room, which is a real plus. Safety: Two locks are provided upon check-in: one for the main entrance and one for your room. Guests: Chinese, European, American, and Korean. Thanks: I arrived at the museum early in the morning and missed the check-out time. Thanks to Ctrip and the hotel for their efforts. Due to full occupancy, the hotel had to extend my check-in by an hour and charge 2,000 yen. Thanks to Ctrip for their efforts, we were able to get a free half-hour check-out. On check-in night, I met a young man from Tianjin who enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants and other places. The front desk staff were also very attentive.

The price is very affordable and suitable for budget travel. The sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are all clean and smell-free. The only drawback is that it seems a bit far from the subway station, but it is very close to Dongshan, where there are many temples. The famous Nanzen Temple is also in Dongshan

The sound insulation next to the rail is great, the room is very spacious, a little pity that the weather is too hot these days of travel, it is a bit far from the station to the accommodation, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, don’t worry about being hungry at night, the counter staff are also great ～
